CAG Call of Duty 4 Night [Wednesday, 8pm EST]

Anyway, I'm actually very disappointed with how CoD4 night went (we had much better nights), but I'm glad some showed up. I'm quite depressed over it right now, but I hope we get more next time (last time when had over 2 times more). Turnout wasn't the only thing, weird headset issues early on was the other, along with issues breaking out of party at one point.
 
I'm really sorry I kept getting disconnected guys... I will have it fixed by next week I hope. Did any of you see (I forgot who was playing) when the guy got shotgunned and all you saw was the blood spray and the sound of the gun? It looked crazy.

It's been a long time since I dusted off COD4, but I will make EVERY effort to join you guys next week. Saw something about Wednesday nights, I would be down for that as well (probably easier for me than weekends at 7PM Central.) Hard for me to tell the wife that I'm spending from 7 to 9 on a saturday night playing PS3, and she needs to entertain the kids.

I'll check in here more often, just been spending way too much time flipping games the last month or two instead of playing them. Now that the storm is over for that stuff, back to enjoying stuff like COD4 night! Keep me posted on the wednesday night stuff, I'm definately down with changing to that if others are.

assuming any of the old crew is still playing, I'm on a bunch of people's lists. I just haven't played in forever. I might fire it up tonight, but more than likely I'll end up playing NCAA.
 
That was fun. Came late so I was only able to play the last two matches. I think Mana kept running into my mines on the last map I would randomly plant at doorways. I was out for most of the day so I couldn't be on sooner. Great fun.
 
Didn't realize CoD4 was so popular on the PS3... anyway, I recently got it and might be willing to play next week. I suck at this game vs RSV2 because the controls are kinda wacked for me. Still getting used to it...

As far as who to add, we'll get back to you on it. Right now I'm in charge of CAG nights since the OP's PS3 broke, but once he gets it back, it will be in his hands (or maybe someone else s). So right now, it's a not sure.

ugh... been DOWNLOADING GAME SETTINGS for over a WEEK now... no matter what I do, cannot get into play online......... every other game works. I know this has been an issue in the past... is someone actually WORKING on FIXING this problem?? I'm not sure what the hell changed... I didn't have any probs for months... now this. :(
 
Ill be there Wednesday. Its a better day than Saturday for me thats for sure.

@TallGuyMe. I had a problem like that when I first got CoD4. I never did anything to fix it, it just stopped hanging on that screen. You may need to open some ports though. You can go to www.portforward.com, find your router, and it will tell you instructions. PSN uses ports 443, 5223, 3478-3479, 3658 on TCP and 3478-3479 UDP. Forwarding to your IP address may not work either. You might have to forward the ports to your PS3's IP address (located in network settings or system settings I believe. Usually something like 192.168.x.x)
Or just resetting your network settings on PS3 might do the trick.

Hey guys, sorry I left early, had to go do something. Anyway, it was fun playing with you guys, and I did enjoy knifing/ killing everyone with an airstrike (see games two and three). I hope to get in on this Saturday, if it is happening.
 
Good games, everyone. I was pretty rusty for the first couple games (OK, more like the first 45 minutes) but it was a good time.
 
Thanks a lot for showing up (12 did total, while 1 didn't show up on my buddy list). I wish we could have played a bit longer, but that's all right. It was the first time we had CoD4 on another night, and it did all right. I did have some weird issues like some buddies not appearing and such, but oh well.

There will probably be a game on Saturday.
 
That was fun. I always show up late. Don't know how I dominated that old school frre for all one Creek though. Good times, do you guys do Shipment early in the matches or later, I miss those crazy Shipment games.

Thong you dominated that FFA on creek because I was AFK 80% of the game :roll: had to send email to the fellow CAG-er on game sharing ;) overall great game. Fun stuff and I wished it would of last longer.. but then again the wifey was complaining. Hope there's a saturday one.
