just watched some DR PSP vids-- looks awesome, but is it missing frames or is that the video quality?

Rodimus-- looks like that site is gone?

"Hibiki is the most underrated character in CVS2, fact."
Which is why A-Hibiki is considered top tier by most?

Also, if you really like Tekken DR, and you aren't doing so already, check out gfb.combovideos.com because they have new DR match vids every few days.

I think it's video quality and the fact that a large portion of everyone's moves have been reanimated (mostly Lei and Jack). It runs at 60 fps so I don't know why it would be missing frames.

Sorry, bout that guys. I know it's been underconstruction for alittle bit. Go to google and put in "fighters generation" maybe you'll get something that works. I don't know what to tell you cause it works for me.

Andy hates children:

fightersgeneration is infamous for not working. Years and years ago there were massive bandwidth issues because the web site creator is terrible. Then the site was down for a couple years for a redesign because the web site creator finally realized how terrible he is and how he needed to change things. And now at its current state the stie still sucks because it sporadically breaks down and still looks ugly.

ps. the stuff on his site is ripped off from other sites and the site creator takes all the credit.

Rolento-- that's good to hear about 60fps...the Namco team is great at fitting advanced games on weaker systems (T3 on the PS1 was a huge feat, imho)

Stice-- A groove..that's the custom combo groove, right? I've never played with it much. I can never seem to time it right or get good damage out of custom combos.

Rodium-- that Mai/Andy opening is so classic

Got some Tekken news that will be revealed soon. Keep your eyes peeled here and on TZ for the announcement. :)

Did anyone see the Laker game? WOWWWW.

I need to stop having too many hobbies... arcade sticks, fighting games, tekken, video game collecting, collecting sneakers, action figures, comics = way too much money. :(

It's a cool site, if it worked. Do you know of a better site with a ton of sprites? I know wickedgifs has some good ones.

I'll be eagerly be waiting to hear :) Plz post here before zaibatsu, since it gets clogged with bitching most of the time

oh, and fighters genreation is a sweet site. I bookmarked it, but just today my firefox wiped out all my bookmarks, so I lost the exact url. It's a bit crude, but it's a great job done by one guy.

man, I would love to pick up one of those Tira toys... she's really the only thing I liked a ton in SCIII.

new falcoon interview
Here are some highlights regarding the last interview granted by the SNK-P producer/artist Falcoon.

His opinion of KOF MI is near the one some people expressed on this very board recently "it's just for fun. It's supposed to be a fun game". Even if the game can be played online, they focused on the 1P expericence so the lonely player would have tons of things to do.
KOF Maximum Impact is definitely set in a different universe than the regular KOF Series. This means nearly all the characters can appear, even those dead in the regular KOF series (like the Orochis, for example)

KOF MI3 is scheduled for the PS3. He already has some ideas for it, and for eventual sequels should the game sell well.

KOF: Another Day was an experiment and an advertisement to MI2 and KOF XI. It's not cannon, and it doesn't mean the two universes are close, nor that Ash will appear in MI nor Alba in XII.

They have no plans right now to make another anime.

The US name change Maximum Impact into KOF 2006 has been made to reflect the different market, like Ryûkô no Ken into Art of Fighting or Garô Densetsu into Fatal Fury. The decision has not been taken by Falcoon, and he doesn't seem to appreciate it much, nor does he seem to really care.

Metal Slug 6 is the last Metal Slug on Atomiswave.

They don't plan to make a real fighter on PSP nor DS. The studies show many players use their PSP at home, so there is no use to make a game on PSP if they can play one on PS2.

The name "KOF XII" is not definitive, but the game is definitely being worked on, as Nona's presence the other day implyed.

Interesting discussion about Alfred's position in the Garô universe.

No more DJ Station, but they would like to continue with the CD dramas.

The reason most voices in Ken Samu were changed was because the format was too old to sound good on AW.

THERE WON'T BE A SEQUEL TO LAST BLADE.

They would like to port the HNG64 games on current generation system, but they can't because... They don't have any data anymore. It has disappeared. They would need to buy a board and games to begin with. But they would like it, even though they know thet would sell very little
quantities.

They don't want to ditch 2D yet. They think 2D fighting game are still interesting. They also talk about a possible collaboration with Arc system. They would like to, even though it appears quite difficult to do.

They say if the 2D genre was to disappear, they want to be the last maker to make 2D games.

Seems these news are clearing up several rumors that were hanging around in SNK-P gaming forums (including Cyberfanatix). Stay tuned for mroe information.

ripped off of cyberfanatix who ripped it off of some guy over at mmcafe

Snk vs. Sammy vs. Capcom. it would sell trillions.

More talk of Alfred, I always wanted to see more of him. But no more Last Blade? I remember an interview with someone at SNK and the said they'd be happy to "re-invinte" a series if the fans demanded it. But good to hear they wish to cling to 2D the longest. Thanks Gigan for that post, very intresting.

I saw highlights of the Lakers game. Damn that looked like an awsome game. I wish the Heat could play a good game like that instead of just dominating the matach or getting killed.

good reveiw roundup on falcoon... still no news on Card Fighters Clash... oh well

I guess this also means that KoF MI won't be comming out on PSP like previously planned.

exactly

Lots of people get destroyed by a semi decent A-Bison. And she's considered top tier because of her footsies, high damage, and A-Groove combos +resets.

edit: well I'll admit, she's probably more like low top tier or high mid tier.
so when will you spill the beans on Tekken Markman?
word up, i'm waiting anxiously on this news too. when can we find out?

probably once Markman sipps enough coffee to help with the hangover... :)

I'm guessing it's something having to do with Tekken 6 or a new Tekken title since he mentioned only "Tekken"...
I don't remember if anyone posted but SNK vs. Capcom Card Fighters was announced for the DS. Heres some info http://ds.ign.com/articles/704/704066p1.html
I've been waiting for news on this title for a while, so huge thanks for the heads up.

looks sweet as hell... here's hoping for it to use online wifi >_<

if they do like before where there are Capcom and SNK carts, I'll probably be buying both versions...

also, even though it's not a fighter, Metal SLug Anthology is going to be on the Wii, whihc is pretty badass.

Yeah the Metal Slug game on Wii should be interesting. I doubt they will do two carts for the DS version of Card Fighters but who knows...

the jack 5 video was ok, but just wanted to show more proof of jack-5's power.

I was going to take up Jack-5 as my secondary, but realized I wanted to work on amore technical character since I play mostly power characters... thus I took up jin, but I'm not too great so far >_

That Jack player is a good pal of mine, really good Jack-5 player. :) Tunak tunak.

Sorry bout the news, it'll come. Barry's Raven videos were good. I remember seeing my name credited in it too. !

I'll be waiting for the news. ;)
