Last year, CAGs raised over $49,000 for Penny Arcade's Child's Play charity. This year, I'm setting the target at $50,000.

For every $5 donated via PayPal through the CAG ChipIn system, you will receive one entry into a raffle to win 1 of 2 $500 Amazon gift cards and other great prizes. Every year, the CAG Community donates some really cool and generous prizes and I expect to get some corporate donations too. I expect the prize list to grow and grow until the very end of the fundraiser.

You must donate through the ChipIn system by 12/31/11 or your raffle entry will not register. Just click the "ChipIn" button to donate. Donations are accepted via PayPal and go directly to Child's Play. ChipIn tracks our donations as a group, but the money is immediately deposited into Child's Play's PayPal account and never passes through CAG in any way.

I feel like this reflects on how hard things are these days for quite a few of us. Every bit counts though, so I'm glad to offer what I can.
 
i Cant afford it. but now a days who can. but still going too donate a child's smile is the best thing you can do. i'll donate later on this week when i get paid again.

it looks like we're paying our money to some organization for them to then make the donation (and thus get the credit?) $10 isnt a lot obviously but for the accumulation of everyones contributions to be taken advantage of by a 3rd party is a concern. I cant even access the ChipIn FAQ to read more about this.

Multi-platform, remade since the first system. The game play lasts you about 7 days, and it has a lot of motion control and augmented reality.
 
The Cheapy/Tai stream convinced me to get out of my credit card. I just donated $35.

I would love to get the Chicken-pox Vita as a prize. Not that it would really be infectious, but I know I'm immune since I got the chicken pox as a 15 year old and then I had to prove that by a blood test as part of the immigration procedures for moving to the US. Getting chicken pox when you're a teenager or adult is extremely awful, so it's good that Tai's in the clear now.

Just follow the link to donate prizes in the first post and check the first post every couple days to see if your prize is listed. Not sure Cheapy responds to everyone who donates.

I might sound a little harsh, but do we get a confirmation of being entered into the raffle after we donate? And is it the green "Chip In" button on Cheapy's first post the one we use to donate and be entered in the raffle?

As long as you use the chip in button, and you get a receipt from paypal you're fine. They use your paypal email.
