Well I should be on tonight for some R6V2 action if anyone is interested.

Also don't forget that Wednesday at 9pm EST we are having a CAG game night, so everyone get ready for some CAG on CAG action! :bouncy:

Yea, we had an OK turnout. Kendal, ViP and myself were the only CAGs present, but we did end up with a decent room for most of the night. Let's shoot for next Wednesday May 14th at 9pm as the next official night. I should be on this weekend for some games too, gotta get moving towards my Elite now that I have most of the objective CheeseMints out of the way.
 
Do you want me to update the thread to just say 9PM on Wednesdays?

I assume we won't see the type of crowds we did for R6V1 until the game price-drops. We didn't get 16 -person rooms going till the game dropped to I believe $40 in the summer.

Yea, you can go ahead and update it for 9pm EST every Wednesday.

Hopefully people will get back to playing this game once the GTAIV hype dies down. The cover system really makes the game stand out against the standard run&gun shooters. A price drop and some DLC would help, along with some new ranks/weapons/achievements. I doubt we will see any of those three though. I guess we have to remember that R6V1 was Pre-Halo, Pre-CoD4 & Pre-GTAIV so we might never get a room full of CAGs which is kinda sad :cry:.

Oh well, The Wednesday night game will be held from now on going forward.
 
Rudy, sorry I missed your invite, I was in a T-Hunt group and we had been playing for an hour or so, so I just stuck with it. I'm a sucker for T-Hunt so I ended up playing that a good portion of the weekend.

I've rekindled my love for R6Vegas multiplayer.

We'll be starting at 9pm EST, but I will try to be on a little earlier if anyone wants to run some T-Hunt/Co-Op beforehand. Up yours buddy! ;) This is an awesome concert DVD. It was one of the last times the original band played live together. I miss it. :( I think it is almost over so I can play the game.
 
Don't be afraid to send me an invite just because I'm playing GTA IV. Poor R6V2 has been collecting some dust and would love to be brought back out.
 
Good times last night even though the only CAGs we had show up were myself and Kendal. (Sorry Aku, didn't see your post until we had finished up playing) Also I tend to shy away from just spamming the CAG R6V2 list with invites if people are playing a different game, but next time maybe I'll try it to see if any other CAGs are interested.

Got my Shotty CheeseMint and made some good progress towards my LMG and 1000 kills. Elite seems like it is going to take forever. What does everything think is the best way to rank up? Play the Trainyard mission in T-Hunt like Kendal showed us? Team Leader MP? Other ideas?

Oh yea, CAN YOU TURN GRENADES ON (because I can't get any kills w/o them) LOL!
 
I love Trainyard T-Hunt. The guy right inside that first room with a shotgun always takes out someone who hasn't played it enough times. Very entertaining.

Sorry I missed the night, I ended up falling asleep on the couch. Very glamorous.

GRNDHOG was the one who showed my the Oil Refinery spawn. Credit goes to him.

Oil Refinery got me most of my Elite. TL and team objective is a good way to get points and a good change from the grind.

Well tonight's the night! CAG R6V2 night starts at 9pm EST tonight. I should be getting on a little bit early so look for me sometime after 6pm. I'm down to 400 mp kills and a couple hundred thousand xp to get my 1000/1000!

I'm hoping for some DLC sometime soon, but I haven't heard anything. I'm surprised that more games do not take advantage of upping the number of achievements/GS in a game to 1250 when releasing DLC. It would make sense in a game like this that is not going to take over CoD4, Halo3 & GTAIV at the top of the XBL lists. But adding some other achievements/weapons/ranks/unlocks would definitely get more people to drop 400/800 points on DLC. As we have said before, R6V came out pre-Halo/CoD so it didn't have much competition on XBL. I can't see them expecting to sell DLC now by only adding a couple new maps.

I would love to see a few more of the RSV1 maps make a return in DLC.

As for tonight, I finally got a wednesday off from work so I will probably be on tonight around 8-9 mountain time.
