Sorry bout that, I was trying to follow the actual route the computer gave me with the GPS, which did lead me to where the boss was eventually.

The dogpile for that one car in the Cannonball Run was hilarious though.

Unfortunately, I ended up getting the car in the end, which turned out to be one of the slower ones in the game.:roll:

Also, sorry about landing on ya, Metaly, when we were doing the car jousting thing at the airport.

BTW, auto aiming being on for the C&C games seems to make it easier to hit the boss with a fatal shot.

No one ever has to apologize for hitting me with a helicopter. Even better was how at that point I was still looking for a car, happened to look up and managed to think, "oh, someone got a helicopter" before it crashed right into me. :applause:

I've done that in free mode too, especially when I've been just trying to actually go off and do other things like just drive around causing mayhem for the NPC's, other than being death matched at the airport.

I've come back, flying at mach 1 and knocked people off of their perches atop the terminals at the airport with a well placed dive as well. Mind you sometimes, I tend to take forever to do a turn.

Word of warning though, DO NOT pause the game and let your chopper drift too far off shore in the game or you'll be shot down after a not so friendly warning.

Had that happen the one night and the chopper just blew up when I got back from getting a drink. I didn't know wtf happened.
 
So drinking and flying is not such a good idea. :p

Also, props to the crooks that made the jump off the unfinished highway to escape the noose. Although I did manage to land on top of a couple of them that missed the jump. Unfortunately no way to get the car off the rooftop that we landed on, sorry about that metaly. :)
 
I like the NFL a lot so I am not going to make anymore Sundays unless the matchup is something like Detroit and St. Luis or Kansas City.
 
I'll attempt to be there, though I think I gotta stop with these massive gaming sessions at night, since I find myself playing the PS3 from 9-10 pm till 2 am most nights.

Of course, some of those hours are spent with MK II on and offline and the online portion just reaffirms what I already knew from when it was out originally, that I truly do suck at MK II against a human opponent.

I'm not too sure either, maybe since it was a lightweight sports car? Don't feel bad though, my driving was way worse. I haven't played this game for weeks, so I'm pretty rusty.

Yea I don't think I won any games tonite, I guess I was having an off night. But it was fun. I liked the cops and crooks.
 
As usual, I got my ass handed to me at deathmatch. :roll: But the good part is, after the CAG GTA night ended early(normally it goes 2 hours, right?), I went and actually played some of Uncharted AND Mercenaries 2.

It's about time I actually focus on the OTHER games I have versus playing MK II and GTA IV on and offline. Now, if I could only focus on the games I have in the order in which I bought them, since Conan is still sitting here unplayed after 2-3 months and The Godfather is collecting dust.

But all in all, we had a decent turnout last night, which was nice for a change.

I tried again to see if I could get a chopper from the airport for Cops & Crooks, but I think the game must turn them OFF completely so one team won't have an unfair advantage in that mode.:cry:
 
I don't know if some people have terrible modems or what but there is nothing more annoying than smashing right into someone with my car going 100mph only to have that person instantly reappear on there feet, shoot 3 m4 bullets, and kill me.

Well, I don't think it's me, since I know I'm usually swearing at my online model/avatar/whatever the f you call the character you use online to get the fuck up when I get run over or whatever.

It seems like my player takes forever to get up.

I know what you mean about the players who pop right up, which is why I make sure I only bump them to knock them down in front of me if it's in deathmatch. That way I can unload a clip or three into them as they're trying to get back up and kill 'em.:lol:

But if it is my connection or whatever, that should be solved soon, since I'm going to give these powerline adapters a whirl tonight or tomorrow night and see if they make my connection more stable/faster since I'm on wireless(which I just found out earlier today may conflict with my cordless phone's signal, since they're both 2.4ghz).
 
Well my ps3 is letting me go in the ps store, but when I try to play multiplayer it says it can't locate a game server and to try back later.
Everything I checked seems normal, it just can't find any game providers.
 
Hey guys, just wanted to let people know I probably won't be around to host tonight. Also I'm considering using Wednesday as the main night since turnout seems to have been about the same. Hosting on Sunday hasn't been great for my schedule lately.
 
If we even have a game tonight, I may have to leave early, since I start a new job tomorrow morning bright at early at 7 am and I needs me my sleep for it. Otherwise, I'll be like a zombie.

Well, it's official, I'm going to be a zombie at the new job today. But, I can safely say that it's not from playing GTA IV last night for 2 hours straight. Although, I will say that I liked the Party Mode thing we were in, before going off into Mafiya Work for a short game, which ended with me going back to party mode and being the only one left I guess.

I hope Wednesday's turnout is alot better, since last night's sucked.
 
Thanks metaly, though due to no sleep I'm gonna be running on autopilot today.

The way it is, this is at a company that I had issues with about 10 years ago, so I'm wondering if they're going to even let me in the door this morning. With my prior history with this company, I think getting fired by the end of the day today might not even be a problem if the same managers/people are there.:roll:

Maybe time heals all wounds though? I can hope, cause I seriously need the $$$(mainly for a trip to an out of the way Kmart which was a huge goldmine a couple years back:lol:).

If this doesn't work out though, I'm seriously thinking about starting up my own stand to buy/sell games at the local flea market though. Mind you, I have to look into the legal side of it still, like seeing if I need a pawn license or to properly document stuff I take in in case it comes back stolen.:whistle2:#

I'm in too, since the temp agency that sent me to a job sent me to a place that only needed the end of their work pushed out and said I wasn't needed after ONE stinkin' day. :bomb::whistle2:#

The sucky part is, the city I live in takes an exorbitant tax out one time a year and seeing as how this is my only day of work for the year, I'll probably get .02 after the bullshit tax.

But I'd rather have one, since then I'd be asleep right now and not being mean to a fellow CAG who paid $350 cash for a broken PS3 off Craigslist(that the owner said was 'working' but needed a new hdd). Mind you, I'm trying to scrape up enough to get the $$$ for a flea market stand, a pawn license(if I need one to buy shit) and some actual inventory, so I can sell games and actually make my OWN money without having to rely on a company.

Lot of school work lately so won't be there, but hopefully there's a crowd because Sunday didn't really happen.

Trophies sound good, now I might get working on the SP instead of sitting at the like 15% I have complete.

I'm surprise they're adding trophies to GTA4, probably not retroactive, so gonna have to play it through again. :p

I was thinking about it. I might even play the game!

Still waiting to hear what the headset-associated firmware update does about the Warhawk/GTA4 issues, though, and whether the new headset still has them. If the firmware doesn't fix it, that's just dumb. If the problems still exist with most every headset except this new one, well... I don't want to reward Sony by buying their new product because it fixes stuff that they've left broken for months.
