CAG Killzone 2 Game Night [Currently Inactive]

Is there any way to accept squad invites during a game? I didn't want to pause in the middle of action just to get into a squad, so I'm hoping for an easier way to do it.

Good night though it seems like it would just be annoying as hell until I unlock more than the default weapons so Mana doesn't stalk me all the time with his shotgun. :whistle2:(

That last game was fun... I swear everyone not on my team was a Saboteur. :bomb:
Though, the epic finish to win the game was great. :cool:

Left a little early because I was getting bored, think it's because I'm really enjoying Battlefield Heroes a whole bunch lately xP

It was really freakin loud and I pretty much turned my headset off because they wouldn't fix it and just wouldn't shut up lol

Sorry I keep missing these. I generally can't make the Saturday times and I had to go to a lecture for my Physics class this evening and didn't get home until 8:30 PST, by which point everything seemed to be over. Hopefully I can make it on next Thursday.
 
i joined in around 9:40. was fun. too bad most of you left so early so i jumped into some regular games afterwards. i got my tactician rank last night. jumped up 1 full rank and i got the healing packs for my medic in a few hours. woot.

I'll try to fix it before next time even though I dont know how :lol: but I was barely talking and I ended up turning it off after the second match so I'm not sure if you're complaining about the right person or not.

i didn't notice any one person who was loud. but some people have bad audio quality. dunno who tho.

anyone else notice that the default audio in multi is extremely loud? the gunshots and explosions are deafening. i had to lower my receiver audio quite a bit. it seemed fine in single player. maybe i'll mess with the audio settings next time.

LOL. Whenever I play Saboteur I always end up running into other saboteurs. It's quite annoying. You both do that quick map check to make sure it's not a teammate then shoot each other.

Have you tried turning the mic down in the PS3 menu?
(Settings -> Accessories Setting -> Audio Device Settings)
I think the default level is much too loud for Killzone 2.

Oh I was talking about another game randy, darvan, and I joined after the CAGnight game.

And yes, I kept getting killed by a saboteur in the CAG game.

We had a decent number from Casual 2 show up. I'd like to get a clan battle going for them, at either 8pm EST or 11pm EST, but I need to see if Giant Bomb can make the time work out (kind of tough when the leader lives in Japan). I will work on it though.

Man, I wish we had just one big casual clan. I got buddies on both that I'd like to play matches with.
Maybe once the game becomes less popular as the new thing to play, we'll be able to condense it down a bit (although no guarantee that I'll be still playing then, I have such a short attention span).

Note: This is not a complaint to how MK has been doing stuff. Everything is at the best as it can be right now.

Just look at your crosshairs... I'm pretty sure it doesn't show green when over a saboteur.
I swear, they have a special ability to know when they've been recognized. Most of the time I'd be getting ready to shoot them when they'd shoot my head off with a shotgun. Also... there are too many one hit kills in this game. :lol: On a side note... I wish we played with teamkill on. People get too sloppy when teamkill is off. :cool:

There's a thought.... A game that had a clan structure similar to a real military, with units like squad, platoon, company, battalion, regiment, etc, etc. :lol:

Yo MK. You don't need to apologize about anything. It's the limits they put on the size.
Thats why I put the note at the bottom. You really don't need to worry about how things are going, since they are going quite well.
Take it easy and enjoy the game and the large following CAG is giving to it right now. :)

Your crosshair will turn red if you point at one. And if you get close enough I think their disguise won't work also they don't appear as a friendly on your radar.

Sometimes I think turning Teamkill on would be nice. Maybe it would cut down on the 'nade spam....

Turning on Friendly Fire is a double edged sword, it would probably cut down on the grenade spam, but than it would make the Saboteur class a bit too powerful since now you need to make sure they're not your teammate before opening fire on them. I wish there was way to only have friendly fire be on explosives.
 
the TK thing has been talked about and it was decided best to just ban the nade launcher instead. most people are too balls-out to think not to run in front of a firing teammate. i think most of the time TKing happens, its not the shooters fault, but the wang who ran in front of him without thinking :p

What I think I'm going to do, just gotta hope Giant Bomb agrees to this, is that I'll have a Casual 2 clan match against Giant Bomb next week, at 10pm EST or something. It think it might be best to have a clan back a week since I can overlap times, instead of trying to squeeze a third in on a day.
