Must have been a misunderstanding then. I remember asking if you wanted to leave and rejoin the league as the CPU teams that drafted after you so you could look at their draft list. It sounds like you thought I was going to do that? I didn't really have time to, not to mention, I would have needed to assign commish duties to somebody else so I could team jump.

To be honest, I don't even know if that would have worked anyway since you would be "claiming" the team after the draft was over and it might not have had a draft section for them anymore. Anyway, yeah...I'd be fine with you just picking up a free agent to replace that pick. At least that way you can get the position you would have been wanting.

Sucks about the guy who was going to take over the Bears. Yeah, you might as well take them as your secondary.

Yea I appologize to the league about that. He was night shift but was put on second shift working weekends so he felt that he would hinder due to schedule more than help. He asked me to appologize for him.

You've pulled shit like this in BOTH Madden leagues, you basically add nothing to the league, and as far as I can tell, nobody likes you.

For someone who claims to have invested so much in the league, I haven't personally seen you do anything but cause trouble. As for the draft, I was informed that you didn't even know about it and had to be told about it that same day. Regardless, instead of trying to be informed on what was going on during the draft, when everyone was discussing how to handle the issue with the #1 pick, you thought it would be hilarious to call people names, crack jokes, and generally act like a dipshit.

You refused to negotiate and kept pushing your "fuck off' attitude. I'm the commissioner of the league, and I'M telling you how we're going to handle the pick, and you tell me no? Then you threaten to quit if you don't get the guy. So, I called your bluff and did the job for you. If anybody here actually feels like you bring anything to the league at all and thinks you deserve to be let back in, maybe I'll consider it after you apologize for acting like an idiot. If not, hey...at least you've got the other league.
 
Can anyone sub as the Jets vs my Giants tonight. (after 5pm PST)

Yanks was all set to go last night, but my video game dramas continued, and my Madden Disc will only not work when I need it. Given that I'm in two leagues I'm gonna go buy a used one tonight.

So does anyone think they can sub tonight? or tomorrow?

You can have my 3rd in this coming up draft I have no clue who the cpu drafted for me or I could give you a rookie off my team the cpu took the best ovr player at that point in the draft so I could just give you the 3rd best ovr rookie or something or if there is one rookie you like send me a pm with his name

OK, so I am a full believer in Madden deciding you just won't win.

After trailing for most of the game, the Rams pulled to a 14-14 tie late in the fourth. On the 49ers' next possession, Keiser throws an INT, which I return for a TD.

On their final drive, we were down to ONE SECOND LEFT. Staticz heaves one into the end zone. HALF OF MY TEAM was right there, and somehow, Ginn comes up with it!

In OT, I win the toss, but Steven Jackson, who I think fumbled MAYBE five times last season, coughed it up on the third play from scrimmage. San Fran takes over and kicks the game-winner.

Holy crap. That was the most ridiculous game of Madden I have ever witnessed. Staticz: You played great, and I'm not taking anything away from you. But that Hail Mary was some Grade-A crap.

However, a ton of fun! :)

Looks like my rookie WR Demarcus Miles is working out nicely. He led Rams receivers with four catches and 65 yards. Steven Jackson was pedestrian, with 20 carries for 76 yards.

For the Niners, Ted Ginn had 7 catches for 126 yards and one TD. Frank Gore was limited to 12 carries for 49 yards.

In what was probably the most epic :45 seconds of football the 49ers pull off a miracle at home against the St. Louis Rams.

With 1 second remaining the 49ers complete an impossible Hail Mary and tie the game to send it into overtime. The Rams win the toss and bust off a few decent plays. Patrick Willis would not be denied the victory and absolutely leveled Steven Jackson and forced a fumble setting up a 25 yard FG for the win.

Lyric - Man! It took us three tries to get the game in and then it went down to the wire. I have no idea how that pass got through everyone and into Ginn's hands. On top of all of that, Jackson fumbles in OT. GG my friend, I can't believe the outcome, you should've won.
 
To be fair, in the first try, we got into the third quarter, and I felt like even though it was close, you definitely were playing better. The odd thing was, I was getting some good pressure on your QB in that contest. However, in the last one, I just couldn't seem to get within five yards of Keiser.

Oh well. Hopefully, when we match up again, I can overcome this and split the series with you. Can't believe San Fran is your secondary team. You seem to know those guys really well. Sucks for me, though!

Also, on that last drive in the fourth, I just couldn't decide whether to play Prevent or a more aggressive scheme. I kept changing, but on that last play, I did have Prevent called. Sigh ... I don't know if I'm ever going to get over this one.

That is one way to put it. I really can't believe that happened. I watched the replays a few times and it just snuck through everyone's hands.

You played a great game, I made some bad mistakes and you should've won. I guess on the plus side, the first game we played Miles broke his ankle. If you're a half full guy, at least you get to keep him for the season!

EDIT: When I saw the 49ers were open I had to take them. I had no clue they drafted a stud QB. That is a dangerous team, someone should take them over as their primary.
 
That is true about Miles. Time will tell whether Miles can help me overcome a loss. I feel like this division is going to be extremely close this year, and one game may be the difference between NFC West Champions or missing the playoffs completely.

game was kinda back and forth all day with enough broncos turnovers to help me keep pace with the tebow run offense. With around 10 seconds to go on the 5 yard line had a 4th and goal and spiller drops the catch for the TD to take it into over time....guess thats what happens when I take out Action Jackson to help Spiller develop. Good game DVO and thanks for subbing
 
We still have secondary owners, guys. No need to ask for a sub for every single game...unless everyone would just rather do it that way? It seems like a bit of a free for all, but I wouldn't necessarily have a problem with it...other than that I don't want to see the same people subbing for every single game.
 
i think sticking to a secondary is the best idea. in a since of u learn the team and can play better with them by knowing them better making the games a little more competive. becuz when just subbing for random teams all the time u dont get the same flow or understanding of them giving the primary team owner the advantage in my eyes. i think if a better way to go about this would be for people to try and contact the owner of the secondary team if 2 days go by with no response then go about finding a sub for that team.

good to know we agree n8. plus theres 4 days in between each advance with atleast a 2 days notice is more than enough time gives u 2 extra days for an advance. in my mind its just to easy

Well as I said on my post yesterday.... I spoke with Yanks and he told me to find a sub.

Otherwise, I wouldn't be asking for a sub on the thread.

So again, any takers?

Also, what secondary AFC teams are still open, I'll take one because everyone having a second team definately makes things go way smoother.

Yea, I'm totally down to play the Oakland vs. Chargers games, instead of just simming it because they are both secondary teams.

Hey I'll be taking over the Cardinals, looking forward to joining the competitive NFC West. I think the Week 1 Cards game has already been played but once we advance I can take them over starting Week 2

I can take the Ravens as a secondary if no one else wants them and I already subbed for them so that loss should be mine anyway. Thanks again to those guys I played for the compliments I hope that I continue to not make a fool of myself. Should be a good game tomight between vikes and bears.
