This game wasn't even close. I couldn't stop the vaunted Packers passing game at all. Nothing I did today was the way I wanted it to happen, but even if I had played a little bit better, I don't think it would have mattered. Pitfall had me (again) today and could have scored more if he wanted to.

I had a few decent runs with Forte at least, until my running game became null and void, playing catch up. I still enjoyed the game, as I used the second half to run plays and routes I hadn't really used before. I found one I liked and a few I didn't, but at least I have a little bit more knowledge of my playbook overall coming out of a loss.

It looks like I will have to play my starters in ATL the last week of the season to try to get that 1st round bye. I was hoping to give them a week off to ensure no injuries.

GG Pitfall, as always. I *think* I am 1-3 against you so far. Here is to hoping I don't get you in the playoffs. :D

I don't think that's true anymore. The guys in the other league do some ridiculous statistical analysis, figuring up common games, strength of schedule, etc. to determine playoff spots. And as far as I know, they've been mostly right.

Yeah, gg. Thanks for subbing. I was worried after you stomped all over me on your first drive. There were a couple lucky leaping catches I had on throws I probably shouldn't have made, and there was also the deflected pass that Grant caught that probably should've fell to the ground.

Aaron Rodgers went 14-20 for 311 yds and 4 TDs (all to different receivers).

It's always fun playing you because it's usually a good matchup and I feel like I actually earn a win.

Nah, I didn't think there was anything lucky - you have talented WRs, a great QB and you know how to use them. You are right on the Grant one, but it happens and it definitely had no outcome on the game overall.

You were the better player. I need to think about how to handle all of those weapons if we do meet up again.

West: Chiefs (#2)
North: Steelers (Still up in the air)
South: Jags (Titans next year lol)
Wild: Broncos
Wild: Patriots

NFC
East: Cowboys
North: Packers
South: Falcons (#1)
West: Rams (#2)
Wild: Lions
Wild: Buccaneers

I forgot, I would like to throw my hat in the ring, if a secondary team makes the playoffs. I have been pretty active all year and would love to participate.

Once again, I'm supposed to play Tanabeo and he has not reached out at all for Bucs vs. Panthers. I'm debating PMing him but I'd prefer for him to do so, so he could prove he has more than a minute interest in the league.

Dark Rider, if I make the playoffs with Tampa and Denver, I'd be glad to let you have the Bucs. You're right, you've definitely earned it.
 
The Bucs/Panthers game has a big impact on the Wild Card race in the NFC. It'd be nice to see it get played.

Maybe we should hand the Panthers over to Billy. He's done a good job of getting his games played so far, even better than some who've been here a lot longer.
 
Thanks for the playoff picture Rider. The #2 spot is definately still up in the air if Denver wins this week. (has that been played yet?)

Thanks for the offer. I will definitely take you up on your offer if they make the playoffs. (This also reminded me that the Bucs are ahead of the Panthers, so I will change that.)
 
As the Patriots owner.. I didn't think I had a shot at the play offs after my last loss. I thought I'd have to win out. I am not doing bad in my last 5 games going 4-1.

Thanks DR for putting that together. A lot could definitely change..if I lose my last game and the Rams & Packers win, I would go from a #1 seed to a #3.

The Jets in the AFC are also up for grabs, assuming they don't fall out of the playoff picture. DR definitely would be a great pick to grab one of these teams. IMO, I would also recommend Doc and G33. They both have been here from the beginning and have never had issues getting their games played.

Jags beat the Titans 24-7, officially putting the nails in the coffins of Houston and Tennessee's playoff hopes. GG, Dark Rider. You're definitely better than your record. You'd be a lot more dangerous if you had a better QB.

By my count, just on records alone, the only teams officially eliminated from playoff contention are Miami, Houston, Tennessee, Oakland, New York Giants, Chicago, and Seattle. That's without getting into all the tiebreakers. So if you've still got a shot at finishing at .500 or better, then you're basically still in the running for a playoff spot.

Thanks, it was a fun game. I enjoy playing with someone who plays solid, clean football.

I hate the Titans sometimes. It seemed like my Defense couldn't get much worse. I hate when you call the right play, but your D fails to carry it out and screws you.
The only shinning light in this game was Chris Johnson's performance with 105yrds, 1TD rushing and 72yrds rec.

But good game. I am looking forward to the draft when I can build with a low draft pick.

MVP is Cam he had -6 yards passing but he had 127 Rushing 1 on a 40 yard run for the TD that gave the panthers a TD lead with 30 sec left then josh Freeman threw a pick to close out the game.

I spent the game calling QB Spy plays that were also good pass defense plays haha. You did a great job evading those spies with Newton though.
 
Had a good game with the Ravens last night and managed to pull out the win. Just need the Steelers to lose this week and I need to win next week against them. Bengals and Ravens play next week, I'm not sure what is better for me there. I think the Bengals winning is better if they lose this week, if they win I'm not sure. I think if the Bengals win out they win the division.
