You start out with seven picks. So if you haven't traded, away or for, you will need to drop seven.
 
well like i said earlier before the superbowl had happened that ratings u will see in player management arent correct ratings for there overall its the depth chart ratings that is the real rating becuz they will be different and depth chart is the correct overall which would be the ratings becuz there the ratings u would see when in the middle of the game using the depth chart. im not 100% sure but almost positive that shipley is only a 79 overall in the depth if i remember correct and i think murras actual rating is a 78 77 overall in depth chart rating. blade should be able to give the actual rating of shipley after the draft to see if he is 80 or above or 79 and below in depth chart

lol, he does have way too many first rounders. Though, Shipley doesn't count against the trade cap since he is below 80 overall.
 
i only have 2 guys. i got number 3 and number 8 i just have two really good first rounder which if we see season 3 which im almost confident this league could go 4 seasons that these picks could change the future of these cowboys
 
I am looking for a possession WR that is good in traffic. Doesn't need to be a superstar, in the 70s OVR is fine.

Yup, just remember that post draft and you should be good to pick him back up. From looking at SJax receiving though, I don't know if you even need an actual WR though.

Speaking of..I think we should get back to league awards, as voted on by league members. I know we had a few people weigh in, but not many.

Hey guys, just to let you all know, I'm gonna be moving over the next couple days. Chances are I'll be MIA until Tuesday, so in case I can't link up with my opponent for next week, I'm cool with a sub.

Still planning to draft via the computer.

EDIT: Can I drop my players via the website? I forgot to do it earlier and I probably won't get a chance to get to the Xbox before the draft.

The game will auto drop your worst seven players.

yes bro i will be making the picks for u the cowboys are my primary team and ur getting my picks
first round is number 20 overall in the draft. the second rounder is number 20 in its round and same for the 5th i would guess the second rounder would be number 52 overall in the draft as for the 5th round im unsure. and yes i have u as a xbl friend and plan to be in a party with u that way it makes it eaier for us both to draft pm me b4 the draft sometime to confirm u will be in a party with me on xbl just to make sure.

May have DocB fill in and just needed to know if he needs to get control of the team in order to do my and his draft. If I cant get back to the computer feel free to give the draft over to him or someone else so that there's a person doing the picking. Thanks.
 
for him to be able to draft for u he would need ur ea sports website email and password so he can draft for u from the computer

Yeah, he would need to be logged in as your team on the website to avoid needing to switch back and forth between both teams (which would be impossible with the time limit). That's up to you if you want to give him your log in info though. Otherwise, the game will just pick the best available players for you regardless of positional needs.

Out of curiosity how would the league handle If someone isn't live drafting yet they arranged a trade for a draft pic?
 
well this happened in the offical league what they did was pause the draft and then booted the guy that didnt show up and then the guy who got the draft pick from him took over his team went and made the pick then the draft was paused again then the guy went back to his regular team it took a little bit longer than the league wanted but it was something that had to be done
 
If you're still involved in trade talks that involve exchanging picks, make sure you let me know about it so I know to pause the draft when that pick comes up (the only other one I know of right now is a possible Eli deal).

Texans get Lions' 2nd round pick (#59) (traded back)

Jets get Saints' 3rd round pick (#83) (CPU TEAM)

Broncos get Cowboys' 3rd round pick (#84)

Saints get Broncos' 3rd round pick (#86)

Texans get Panthers' 3rd round pick (#88)

Texans get Falcons' 3rd round pick (#94)

Browns get Cowboys' 5th round pick (#148)

Texans get Lions' 5th round pick (#155)

I'm not sure with whom or when I'll be in an XBL party, but if the team making the choice (ie. picking for someone else) would send me a message (or post in the draft chat) of "ready" when you're ready, that will let me know to unpause the draft.

Okay got it. I'm going off to sleep now as I'm pretty sick, but I'll be on a bit before the draft to party up and work things out. If you want send me an updated draft board on here before then.

DVO gave Doc Arian Foster (2 core players) for 2 1st round the Texans, and got his Cowboys pick back (2 core players)
Then traded his Cowboys 1st round pick (1 core player) to the Browns for their 1st round pick (1 core player)

So DVO is out of core players? Sorry, not trying to call you out or anything. I just want to make sure I am getting this right cause I do not want it to conflict with our trade. Also, what happens if these players are in fact rated at what they say? Do I get screwed out of my deal cause other trades that involved the draft went through?

not how it worked
its was a 3 way trade between the cowboys browns texans
so the browns got the pick of the cowboys from the texans there for i got one more core player trade thats why i proposed the three way trade so i could save a core player. so our trade is valid no matter what

trade went like this cowboys trade foster to texans
cowboys trade 2nd rounder to browns
texans trade texans first rounder to cowboys
texans trade cowboys first rounder to browns
browns trade browns first rounde to cowboys

making it a three way trade
pretty much me using the system to my advantage to save one core player trade
