Hey if apple can play tonight somebody can play for me , because its not his fault he was available earlier in the week I just couldn't get kay holiday to respond. But I think ramesu or mog can.

Cru and I tried scheduling but we weren't able to. I would think a sim would be the most fair at this point, if he agrees or someone can boot me and sub, if he wants to get the game in.

If you both tried and couldn't find a time, then I'd agree a sim is the most fair route.

What's going on with Dolphins-Ravens?
 
I guess sim, apple if u find out u can play before that time of the sim than let me know.

As far as the trade bv I still assume there is no word from kay holiday , I mean he agreed to the deal I feel like it should be ago , possible retirement is something I think he understood during negotiations we went over ages, ratings and etc.

No, I haven't heard from him. And if he understood that there's a very good chance TO will retire after season one (based on the fact that he did in the other league) than I'd like to hear that from him. If he did, I'll put it through, even though the deadline's past.

I'm a little upset Texans-Jaguars isn't the game of the week. I know it's done strictly by power rankings and not power rankings + division, but it should dammit! I'm hoping to play Zurezo in the afternoon tomorrow before the Saints/Seahawks game. I PMed him earlier today.

Several games could have made a case this week.

Texans (7-1) - Jags (6-2)
Vikings (5-3) - Bears (6-2)
Panthers (7-1) - Bucs (5-3)
Giants (5-3) - Cowboys (4-4)
Rams (5-3) - 49ers (6-2)

All division games with huge ramifications for the playoffs. Pats (6-2) - Steelers (5-3) is pretty important too.

Looks like the stats from that Bears-Bills game will be completely unrecoverable, I can't even access them in-game. Too bad too, since it was a great performance by my D. At least it brought the Bears' ppg allowed down to a league-low 13.9.

I'd say the Vikings-Bears matchup might be most intriguing since the Vikings have the most potent offense in the league (476.4ypg) and the Bears have the most staunch defense (226.1ypg). Something's gotta give.
 
It was a really ugly game in the rain between the 49ers and Rams...8 picks in all. The rain was just as ridiculous as ever...causing crazy bad throws from both sides (I might be biased, but I would have to say mostly by Alex Smith!!). The game-changer was definitely Sam Bradford going out for the game near the end of the first half with a high ankle sprain. I felt a little less bad about Alex Smith's arm once I got to witness AJ Feeley in action. The Smith brothers both posted QB ratings in the low 40's which is what you can expect each time I have a home game if they choose to make it rain in San Francisco every f'in time.

It was definitely all defense for my team...forcing 5 picks (2 returned for TDs) and a fumble recovery in the red zone. Patrick Willis had 3 of those picks and one returned for 6...with 5 solo tackles (all for losses). The way he's been struggling this season with tackling, I'm surprised he was able to take down Steven Jackson with ease...of all people. He did get pancaked a couple times though, but I won't hold that against him.

49ers 41 Rams 7

P.S. Aubrayo Franklin is a beast...19 tackles and 15 of them are for a loss (with 6 sacks too).

I'm glad I finally stepped it up with Willis cause CPU Beason was outperforming him up until this game...making me look bad :(

I hope you do, because if I lose this one, I'll probably lose the next few games because of absences and likely miss out on the playoffs this year. My players are ancient, I really can't afford to do that :p
 
Azu and I can't connect, we're getting everyone's favorite "can't get game info from opponent" message. We've both fiddled with our settings and honestly I have no idea whose end the problem is on.

Doom - We had the same problem last week and you fixed it by changing one of your settings.. Can you explain what you did? Thanks.
 
Well I have a Linksys WRT54G Router so I have no idea if it's the same.

Went to the dashboard noticed my xbox live network settings were all set to automatic. Always a problem when I come back home for vacation because we have 4 computers and 2 xboxes on the network so there can be some pretty big ip conflicts which leads to either being kicked off Live when someone else signs in or I'll just end up having a moderate setting for online games which makes it difficult to connect.

Anyway, I took my xbox live network off of automatic, wrote down all the numbers so that I could reenter them manually. The only number I did change was the IP address itself. It was 192.168.1.100, but that was already being used so I just used .101 and it worked no problem. Put all the numbers back in the way they were other than the ip and then it worked fine. Haven't had problems since.

Hopefully that's clear, let me know if you need more clarification. All of this was done from the dashboard.

I wish this game would let me put my best corner on the texans best wr but the game isn't letting me... Must be nice

edit: I have no idea why the game wasn't giving me the option to put Mathis on Andre Johnson. When my 2nd best CB is out and I was sick of finding Andre as the 3rd or 4th WR in the depth chart (and therefore finding my LBs or safeties on him in man coverage), I finally ended up putting my current #2 CB, who is rated somewhere in the 60s I believe. I'm not sure when I did this exactly (sometime in the 2nd half) or if it even helped (I doubt it), but it was better than a LB.
