Well if Zurezo isn't back by the time we do end-of-year awards, there's no point in giving him any...he won't even be here to appreciate them. I think we should bypass his players when considering who is deserving of the e-trophies.

giants win by 2

barely missed my one fg in the game (60 yarder)

didn't defend the screen as well this game as i did vs his bills and that pretty much did me in

Very close game throughout. He scored on an extremely good drive down by 9, making it the final score, giving me the ball back around the 36 after an onside. I got stuffed first and second down, but ran up the gut on 3rd and made it to 4th and inches, which, after that previous drive, I did NOT want to kick a FG and give that offense the ball back.

Bradshaw had 6 catches and one of them was out wide (5 wide set, use it occasionally). I did use the screen late but I didn't feel like I abused it. Seems like every time he got it, though, he got a good 7-15.

Now if I can top the Skins next week, Division Champs! I think! Tiebreakers!
 
I wouldn't say abused it but when your rb had 6 catches and the rest of your team had 6 catches the stats would say you might've.

It might have looked like I was nano'ing or something, but I picked a play where Cushing was blitzing and as soon as you snapped it the CPU automatically pushed him forward on a blitz before I could even do anything.

It is a bit shameful when only 3 receivers had a catch that game and Andre Johnson had seven while the other 2 had only two each...but Andre Johnson is too f'in good to ignore. I actually consciously tried to throw it to other people (I would look at Jones or Daniels or one of the many obscure receivers on Houston first before throwing it to Johnson) but they would never get open.

And I hope 2 interceptions is good enough BV...those both came early in the game on a couple of the rare times I targeted someone other than Andre Johnson, so I started to learn my lesson after that.[/QUOTE]
Cushing was in my backfield all game. It made running near impossible.

Am I ever going to get to face you without a great linebacker? Urlacher, Willis, Beason, Cushing.
 
Servers are still a bit messed up. I've been trying to play Ahard87 for 10-15 minutes now and we can't connect to each other.

Yeah he said there was a failure to communicate with the servers or something when he joined each time. I don't know what's up.
 
Venom can't find a madden copy(his got all scratched up in shipping).....so he's getting a new madden copy tomorrow. We plan to play tomorrow after cancelling today's game.

I was worried about that when he said his disc was in his system. :(

Cru messaged me this morning or afternoon saying he wanted to shoot for Thursday or Friday, and that works for me. I was planning on being on more tonight, but I spent the better part of 3 hours trying to fix the garage door. After reading what you guys said about the servers, though, I doubt we'd have been able to play earlier anyway.

Browns and Ravens played yesterday, but he quit after the clock ran out and it glitched out and never counted the game. =/ Seems Madden gods dont want Browns to get another win this season.

No, I managed to mix up my league schedules. Sorry. I play Cru in this league and Ramesu in the other league. I posted in the other thread about the situation with both, but I can fill you in if you didn't see that.

Yeah, I played a sub with them too. My rationale here is that the Eagles are eliminated from playoff contention anyway so they don't stand to gain by getting the win. You're the one who benefits from this one anyway. ;)

Heheh, that is true. A better chance at the wildcard if I lose to the skins next week. It'll cut down on the constant complaining I'm going to be doing over the next week. Be ready. I'm known as a complainer 'round these parts.

Ha, so true... I have been taking a beating all year. I could be available all day saturday, and maybe late friday.... Traveling though so I can bring my box... just let me know a SPECIFIC time you would want me on and Ill make it work. PM me or something with a set CST time that you would be ready to go... Id say lets go now, but I have to work at 6am :/

I should be home around 7pm tonight, want to get the game at 8? if tomorrow is better so far have no plans saturday.
 
RE: Chargers/Bengals- I agreed to play Ramesu at 7 P.M. Eastern for the other league. I had already planned to play with the CAG NHL 11 team for our "official" game night tonight around 8 Eastern. Cru got back to me about a time, but he can't play me till 7 Eastern. BV, can you just have someone sub for me or let Cru play the CPU? I'll sign on and drop if necessary.
 
If you want to drop and let him play the CPU that's fine, go ahead and do so. Gotta makes sure you lock up that #1 pick anyway. ;)

btw I meant to mention this before but I love your custom user title. I'm glad more people appreciate the brilliance of Cougar Town. :D
 
Well, I didn't lose all those games on my own; just 2/3 of them, heh. But I probably would play if there was anything on the line, since I will be on my Xbox. It just happened that neither guy could play any earlier, and I won't be available tomorrow.

Thanks for the comment on the user title. I've been watching the show since day 1, but anytime I've mentioned that to a guy (other than n8rocker82), I've gotten teased about it. Anyone who teases you for watching it is an idiot. One of the two or three funniest shows on television right now.
 
I can't get into Cougar Town. I hate how all/most ABC shows are shot. I also hate Courtney Cox. Maybe not hate. I'm just annoyed by her existence. I've probably only seen a few episodes, but I don't think it would even crack the top 10 funniest shows on TV. That is of course just my opinion.

It's a Bill Lawrence show, he's one of the funniest guys in television. You're of course entitled to your opinion, it just happens to be ill informed in this case. ;)

Scrubs is good. One of my favorites. But just because you create one good show doesn't give you a pass for the rest of it (see: Terence Winter, among many others). "One of the funniest guys in television" is pretty bold for a guy who created Spin City. :puke:
 
Sorry I haven't responded if game updates were asked. I worked past midnight yesterday so I wasn't on at all. Came home, went to bed, and woke up 4 hours later to go back to work in the morning ew!

Ahard87 and I tried to play Wednesday night but the servers were having issues. I just sent him a PM asking when he could play next. I told him I will be on here all night.

Spin City was a great show too, obviously we just have very different opinions of what constitutes good television.

Still haven't heard from Ahard87 and I was on last night until about 12am. I will be around a lot today as well despite a few errands I need to run.
