CAG Madden 11 League 2 - Season 2! Week 10 Deadline Sat night. TEAMS OPEN!

These are the games I'm concerned about getting in before we advance:

Panthers-Steelers
Cowboys-Cardinals
Seahawks-Bucs

Everything else I'm not particularly inclined to wait on and will be fine simming. We already know (hopefully) what's going on with the latter two but I haven't heard anything from the Panthers or Steelers, which is an important game for both teams.
 
Man.. these last two games are critical for me. I feel like I have been playing playoff football for 4-5 weeks now.

And yes, after the Vikes game we were tied for 2-3 weeks and even before that you had caught up with my losses. Very close race throughout. I wish you luck in (making) the playoffs, although I doubt I'll make it far enough to face you even if it came to that.
 
Doom I been on a lot today...... saw u was playin baskeball earlier but I'm on now... if u can't make it u can just have me kicked and play the cpu i d like an early pick in the draft anyway.... with that said is anyone interested in players on my team? I'm the seahawks....but I got a limited amount of playin time
 
bv, venom never got his disc....... whats the latest time you want me to wait for him until i play the cpu (neither of us are making the playoffs)?

He's not responding text/aim/facebook.... the last i heard from him on friday is he was having the toughest time finding a madden 11 copy around his town.
 
Bucs defeat the Seahawks 38-14. Gg sprice. My D finally somewhat showed up and my offense remained balanced throughout the game. Looking forward to the postseason.
 
What other games are we waiting on? Seems like just Steelers-Panthers, but I haven't seen either of them post in this thread which suggests neither cares all that much.

When we advance are we making an effort to get a Texans sub or are we trying to eliminate him from the playoffs? I don't know where he sits in the standings at the moment.

Bummer. Well, if someone wants to sub tonight whenever (I got a bunch of work to do and will be up late as usual) that would be great. I can also play the CPU, but that's not nearly as fun and I think I'm a lock for the playoffs as well so I don't care one way or the other.

so looking at the standings my game means pretty much nothing unless the Panthers have a tiebreaker over the Texans, it is game of the week though so I would feel a little silly playing the CPU in the GAME OF THE WEEK. let me know what you want me to do, bv. i'm sure I can find a sub tonight, maybe?

edit: Panthers? What am I talking about. Looks like the game means nothing at all. I'll just play the CPU late tonight.

Only one playoff spot is still up for grabs. For the Raiders its simple: Win and they're in. I believe they also still have a shot at the division should the Broncos lose. The Steelers and Ravens need help, but I believe both could still make it as the 6. The Texans and Bengals have clinched the byes.

Again, only one spot up for grab here between three teams. And since the Vikings are unowned it really comes down to the Cowboys game against the Eagles. Win and they're in. I think it's possible they still have a shot at the East, but it would be on like the 4th tie-breaker. The 49ers can lock up homefield with a win, and the Bears can lock up a bye with a win as well.

One of them was a safety. I'd say the 14 tackles is a bit more impressive, that's like half a season for a lot of guys in Madden. But yeah, that was against the CPU obviously.

Matt's still controlling them as far as I know, so not unless he says you can. Given that you haven't quite clinched the division, I think it should be played.

I fell short of my season goal of hitting 1k yards for all 3 of my WRs. Damn Sims-Walker dropped a couple on me, of course they were jump balls as he was getting rocked but still. Come on! Oh well, solid season. It was fun having those 3 as options all year. Can't wait to have McCoy back so my running game can join the party.

I'm sure I'll get my ass handed to me since I'm something like 0-10 in this league and the only time I kept it close in a game with you was when you benched Eli Manning for the final game of the season, but bvharris wants the game played, and I would consider it a privilege to face you one more time in Madden 11. If you could suggest a time for Monday, we can get it set up.
 
I forgot about the fact that both the Cowboys and I have divisional games. If he wins and I lose, I will indeed lose the division, I think. (Otherwise I'd be a y, right?) So much for clinching it last week.

Skins, I'll be home around 1:00, on the train now. If you're around we can try and sneak the game in before the super bowl, if not either afterward or during the week sometime is fine. I'm not sure what the deadline is set at right now. This is your chance to play spoiler...do me a favor and...don't ;)

EDIT: Yeah, just checked it. We're 1-1 head to head and both 4-1 vs. the division. If the skins beat me and he beats the eagles, Cowboys win the division. My game just became a whole lot more meaningful.

Doom it's that time again....please summon A-Hard for me, I can fit a game in before the Superbowl (like 3-4 p.m. EST) otherwise any time after 4 p.m. EST tomorrow or after like 7 p.m. EST on Tuesday...thanks big boy. I could potentially play tonight AFTER the Superbowl as well...I don't think I'm gonna be drinking sadly.
