I quit because you ran 1 defensive play the whole game (2 man under) and ran the same 5 WR shotgun play 15 times (including 6 in a row)....SIM my ass. One glitchy ass play doesnt make you good.
 
it says the opponent has quit and it was 36-7 with 2 min in the 3rd he got mad cause I was passing the ball

ALL WHILE RUNNING THE SAME PLAY.

And TGIF - There have been plenty of cheesy players in this league and mog is NOT one of them. He's allowed to run whatever defense he wants, plenty of players in this league stick with a base defense they are familiar with (me included).

If you think taking your ball and going home is the appropriate response to an asskicking, maybe this isn't the league for you.

Edit: And if you think I'm just taking mog's side because you're new, trust me that isn't the case. mog and I have had our differences, just ask him.

honestly you was running the same plays too the 4 wr set and crossing routes the whole time so i didnt have a choice and everyone knows i really dont like running man so your better than me? and you wasnt running the ball to hint you was giving up so i was just playing

Getting a cheesy ass play ran on you is not an asskicking. If this league lets someone run the same play 15 out of 18 times, something is wrong.

yea me and bv went at it just a couple of pages back and the only reason i said that because you told me to fuck off you came at me wrong first

First of all same formation does not equal same play. And even if he re-used a play, I'm guessing it's because you had no luck stopping it.

If you think something's wrong with the league, nothing's keeping you.
 
It was the same play, not same formation. He had two recievers hot routed so my corner woulda get destroyed and he would have a guy wide open every play. Same Guy, same route. I would even user it and the other Guy setting the pick would be open. Its a bullshit way to lose on shit like that.

Bears 49 - Broncos 14

After an ass kicking by the Panthers to start the season and narrowly missing a comeback against the 49ers, the Bears get back to their winning ways with a thorough handling of the Broncos. This one wasn't as lopsided in the statistics as the score would suggest, though on the field it certainly played out that way.

After last week's benching Jay Cutler responded with a clean sheet, going 9 of 16 for 255 yards and 4 TDs, one each to Knox, Hester, Wayne, and Heap, who was the leading receiver with 3 catches for 85 yards.

After a slow start Matt Forte had a huge game, rushing 10 times for 152 yards and a TD, including a 75 yard gallop and later a 34 yard TD.

Reigning Return Man of the Year Devin Hester got his first punt return TD of the year late, and the always dangerous Dominique Rodgers-Cromartie had 2 picks, one in the endzone and the other he returned 66 yards to the house. New Bear Mike Jenkins had a quiet day, though he wasn't targeted much.

The Bears definitely missed the pass rushing presence of Julius Peppers as Tim Tebow ran around like a little bitch (is there any other way to describe it?) scrambling for 87 yards and having several other scrambles which resulted in wide open receivers. He wasn't particularly accurate, only going 13 of 24 for 230 yards, a TD and two picks, but he was definitely annoying. Moreno also had a very fine game.

gg siradam! I know it ended up pretty lopsided but I always feel like you have your way with my defense, it just so happens I was able to avoid mistakes this time. Looking forward to our Saints-Bears game at the end of the season.
 
Sprice do you wanna still sub for the Cardinals against me tomorrow sometime? I messaged you on Xbox Live asking if you're still committed to subbing for them or if you just want me to find someone else....I'll be available all day. Otherwise...BV do you think I should play the CPU or try and find someone else to sub? I'm definitely open to someone else subbing if anyone will be available to do it tomorrow.

Told me "player is waiting for you to resume"...i hit resume game, and it immediately disconnected. It was late by this point and i couldn't play again. Sent kay a message yesterday, with no response. I was on all evening.. Sending Another now, hopefully he responds and we can play our game tonight...

No problem...would you be able to make it as close to 3 p.m. EST as possible (like 35 min)? I'm supposed to be meeting someone at 3:15 but I can postpone it a little bit...but I'd prefer not to wait too much longer. Sorry I know this is pretty short notice lol.

And I'd like to advance at around 9 p.m. EST tonight...but damn guys 9 games left to be played? COME ON!

Same deal here with the Chargers/Vikings. No sign of Matt all day. I msgd him on FB, but he hasn't responded. Not sure what to do here. We tried twice last night, but his connection was bad and kept disconnecting us. I ready to play, but don't want to wait all night...
 
I just got home. You said to let you know about a time, but I didn't know when I'd be back till I was actually on my way back to my dad's house and typing on a phone with no keyboard or touch screen is a pain in the ass, I've learned. Shall I move the modem to the living room so we can give this another go?

Can anyone update me on Raiders/Lions or Texans/Falcons? Doom said to sim his game, Titans is vs. CPU, Browns/Bengals both had their games simmed last week cause I guess they've been busy lately so I'll probably be simming that one, and Chargers/Vikings being played now...looks like we might be simming a bunch of games tonight :( I'm open to extending the deadline another day I guess if any of those teams I just mentioned speaks up to guarantee they'll play tomorrow...

Told me "player is waiting for you to resume"...i hit resume game, and it immediately disconnected. It was late by this point and i couldn't play again. Sent kay a message yesterday, with no response. I was on all evening.. Sending Another now, hopefully he responds and we can play our game tonight...

RE: Chargers/Vikings

itlnstln dropped so I could play the CPU after Madden screwed him over in our Packers/Lions matchup. That wasn't the reason he dropped; pretty sure he just didn't ahve time to play and was tired after waiting for me to get home earlier. I didn't want to play the CPU, so I supersimmed. the Vikings were winning the first 2 attempts, but I restarted to try to get the win like others have done against the CPU. In the third and final attempt at the supersim, the Vikings won 10-7 and I didn't restart. It would have been nice to try to keep my perfect record alive after losing every game last season, but I very well could have lost if we actually played anyway. No big deal.

Ok I'm booting the Titans and the Lions in one minute. So Saints/Raiders play your games right away then I'm advancing!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

P.S. Frank Gore sucks at passing!! I tried out the Detroit Lions playbook which has a play that gives the running back the ability to throw the ball. I was obsessed with trying to get Frank Gore a passing touchdown...which resulted in him being 2-12 with 2 interceptions lol. But that was fun...definitely gonna try that in other leagues.
 
It looks like Falcons/Texans just got on to play their game now...so I guess we'll be advancing in like 45 minutes. I'm supposed to be playing a game in another league in like 15-20 minutes so I'll probably have to wait a little longer to advance...no later than 11 p.m. EST.
