CAG Madden 11 League 2 - Season 2! Week 10 Deadline Sat night. TEAMS OPEN!

Just as an update to my availability for Cowboys/Giants, I'm headed home sometime this afternoon and will certainly be able to play tonight, preferably after the final playoff game.
 
Gg darth, I played like crap the whole first quarter. I mean the gg part because I kept doing one or two plays on offense for the remainder of the game to play catch up. The first game that we quit due to lag was better because the pass and run were evenly mixed up. I have no def., I wish you and Brady luck in the playoffs, your a quality player and a good person to schedule around. I was pretty frustrated the entire second game, I hope there isn't any bad blood between us. I enjoy our matches, it makes for a better rivalry, haha.

I'm not sure if apple has recently invested in some madden-school bullshit but, running the bunched 4W set the entire 2nd half with a split back formation thrown in every once in awhile got infuriating. I really wish I could know ahead of time before these games so I can just quit the league and save myself the trouble and the frustration.

I don't have to go into specifics but if you check numbers don't lie and there's no defending it with some bullshit "I was looking for the mismatch" excuse. I've had some of the best tactical games because both players enjoy the game of FOOTBALL and try to play the game tactically like a coach, not this rock-paper-scissors random h2h games bullshit.

I'm sorry for the first restart. Your run was 100x more effective but, me being down 7-14 with the ball in the 2nd Q, I really didn't think it was that bad of a call with the amount of lag that came out of no where.
I would suggest possibly utilizing more then just the 4W bunch set though? You came back pretty quickly in the last 2 minutes in the 1st half only down by a TD going into the half so I felt like the hurry-up and barrage of 2 different formations wasn't really called for throughout the 2nd half.
Do you have a mic? When you messaged me saying you were playing horrible after the restart I tried letting you know we could play later but, I didn't get a response. Anyway, gg not really the sort of win I enjoy getting but, a win nonetheless.

I didn't see your message, next time it will be more balanced I'm trying to mix run and pass without the d knowing it's a pass or run. I do have a mic and we keep saying it but I would like to lab with you at some point, let me know when you are free. Congrats on the w I am a real life pats fan anyways. I'm going to shovel some snow now,laterrrrrr.

Giants over Cowboys 24-14. A lot of big turnovers in this one, notably a Corey Webster Pick 6 to make it 21-7 in the 3rd(?).

On a somber note, my Elite just died an early death. On our first attempt, the game froze just as we both hit "ready" in the pre-game (this has happened to me once or twice before in online franchise games). However, on booting the system back up, it wasn't very responsive, very slow, etc...tried a power cycle...E71. Shut it off, turned it back on...RRoD. Fack. So I'm using my brother's 360, but I can't use it at all hours, as he's a pretty avid CoD player. Hopefully I can still schedule league games around this new restriction...

Nah, there's no way I'm missing our divisional game. So far all (well, all two) of my divisional games have had extreme importance, resulting in a big shift. In the first Cowboys game I lost the NFC East lead, and in today's game I took the lead back. Now in our game it looks like you'll tie me if you win...I can't escape you punks! [As a note, I love this divisional race thus far...in the other league I'm just losing to ubernes all year!]

Panthers defeat Buccaneers 30-17. I knew if I had to start throwing bad things would happen, and sure enough things did.

I finally have my ground game going with this team, but mog was just killing my scrub receivers. No separation at all. And my one playmaker Winslow was double covered the whole game. 5 picks later it was all over.

GG mog. Hopefully I can improve through the air and sneak in the playoffs.
 
27-24 craphawks sneak by the Cards. I was 7 for 8 in 3rd down conversions. Found swapping my playbook to the Pats one helped. Very close game i got lucky in parts and i kicked the winning fg as time expired

I know both the Titans and Dolphins have been around, have you guys been in touch? As for Ravens-Falcons, I haven't seen Steggy check back in so I assume is internet is still crap, nor have I heard from Venom, so that might be a sim.

I fly out tonight (long story as to why I'm not already in England, basically I'm an idiot and we had to switch flights) and I should hopefully be up in running by this weekend or by next wednesday, as I'll just need a VGA cable and a monitor, which I'll be snatching up when I have the chance. I'm currently working on packing my 360, its fucking huge and a pain in the ass. If only it was the size of a Wii...

No, I haven't heard from him, but I also can't kick anyone since I'm still at work. Does anyone know if this has kicked off yet?

Edit: I'm gonna be in meetings for the next hour or so, so hopefully he shows up and they can start playing. If he doesn't show, I'll deal with it when I get home but kay should hop on and post his availability for tonight.
 
I am the Dolphins owner and I got stuck at work and apologize for not being online yet. I also wasn't 100% sure we scheduled an exact time. I will online at 6 central to play if Kay can play. Otherwise, feel free to sub for me.

It hasn't as far as I know. Looks like Kay is just sitting in the menus. I'm trying to reach out to Pacer to see if he can play his L1 game now so kay's time isn't completely wasted here.

Jags beat the Browns in a shootout.

Colt McCoy is apparently the 2nd coming of Peyton Manning and David Garrard is the 2nd coming of...David Garrard. Holy crap he was bad. I think both the INTs I threw were him grossly overthrowing my WR and right into the arms of the safety just chilling in a deep zone. I almost took him out but all my other QBs deep accuracy is even worse. This team misses McCoy. No running game.
 
NICE Brian Westbrook 1 catch for 5 yards....that's my boy fitting in nicely in his new home! COME ON throw him a carry or something! Let him run free.

I'm newish to Madden so maybe you guys can help me out with this. In my last game against the Titans every time I was selecting my defense it said the offense was in Field Goal formation. Normally it was 1 WR 2 RB or 3WR 1RB but this time it said Field Goal for every play the entire game. It made it very difficult to select a defense. Is this a user glitch or a madden glitch?

I played some guy online and he did that all day long. I believe its some sort of glitch, especially since it happened to me again and again and again.

Second, deuce let's schedule for Wednesday at 6:15 p.m est if that's good for you.

EDIT 9:00 pm est tues. works better, we are getting a storm wednesday and I have no clue what time I will get home from work.

Can some more people weigh in on this? And can someone tell kay to stop by the thread? I've played him and never saw this, and I've never heard of anyone else playing him seeing this, so obviously I don't think right off the bat he was doing it intentionally, but I'd like to hear if he knows anything about it.

If it's something that was done intentionally, obviously it's completely unacceptable.
 
I feel like I've had it happen to me once or twice, but even then it was just them coming out in a punt formation instead of FG. No clue if there's a way to intentionally replicate it or not.
