Bears 38 - Eagles 17
The Philadelphia Eagles brought their high-flying offense to Soldier Field hoping to improve their playoff chances against the leagues' best defense. Things started out very well for the Eagles as they marched down the field on their opening drive and scored on a 28 yard gallop by MJD. The Bears answered right back however, with Cutler quickly finding Knox on a quick route only to see his receiver dash 69 yards for a TD. After the opening drive hiccup the Bears D found their mojo again, holding the Eagles scoreless the rest of the first half while Cutler found Hester and Heap for TDs to give the Bears a 21-7 halftime lead. After an Akers FG brought the Eagles within 11, Devin Hester did what he does, taking the ensuing kickoff 95 yards to the house. The Eagles answered back quickly however, with Vick finding Jackson deep for a 69 yard score. The Bears D then went into turnover mode, getting several picks while Cutler added another TD to Hester and a Gould FG to finish up the scoring in the 4th.
Turnovers definitely played a huge role in this game, with the Bears forcing 4 - 2 picks by Vick, 1 by Kolb (on his only attempt, thanks for playing Kevin!) and a fumble by Vick forced by Urlacher as Vick tried to scramble for a 1st. Cutler threw one dumb pick on a busted play but was otherwise stellar as he has been the past couple months.
Vick was 7 of 18 for 140 yards, 1 TD and 2 picks
Cutler was 22 of 30 for 315 yards, 4 TDs, and a pick
MJD rushed 10 times for 64 yards and a score
Chester Taylor, running in place of the injured Forte, had a paltry 33 yards on 13 carries.
Jackson was the leading receiver for the Eagles with 2 catches for 95 yards and a score.
Cutler as usual spread the ball around well, with 6 different guys catching at least two balls, Knox lead the way in yards with 98 on 3 catches.
And yes, for those wondering, DRC had another pick, and now has at least one in every game he's played for the Bears.

Bowman and Moore had the other two, while Hanson had the Eagles' sole pick.
Bears move to 9-2 on the season, the Eagles fall to 5-6.

Awesome game gb! I was worried I'd look pretty unbalanced with Forte out (and Taylor didn't do much on the ground as I suspected, though he filled Forte's pass catching duties well) but my passing attack was as good as usual. Would have been much closer without all those turnovers, but isn't that always the case?
