Bears 59 - Vikings 14
Just looking at the score you might think that I took Doom's suggestion and played the CPU, but this was actually against siradam.

I don't know if I was in the zone or whether he was going easy on me since he knew I'm having a rough weekend, maybe a little bit of both, but I'll take it anyway.
The total offense in this game was actually pretty much dead even, the Vikings actually edged the Bears a bit in yards 364 to 357. The difference was turnovers, with the Bears getting a strip sack and two pick sixes (yes, one was of course by DRC).
Jay Cutler continued to build on his MVP candidacy, going 17 of 22 for 259 yards and 4 TDs. Hester was the leading receiver with 4 catches for 80 yards and 2 scores, he also added a 97 yard punt return TD late, though I think siradam was just eager to see me run one back.

Forte and Wayne added the other receiving TDs. Forte had his best game of the season on the ground, rushing only 7 times for 108 yards, including an 84 yard gallop.
While the Bears D gave up more yards than they typically do (364 as compared to a season average of 223) their points allowed were right on track with their season norms. They also continue to force big turnovers, with Peppers getting the strip sack and DRC and Bowman getting pick sixes (Bowman's went 103 yards).
The Vikings actually moved the ball pretty well, Favre went 15 of 23 for 295 yards, a TD and 2 picks. Peterson was only average on the ground, carrying 16 times for 71 yards (4.4ypc) but added 6 catches for 91 yards and a score.
My favorite stat of the game: The Bears offense didn't touch the ball for the entire 3rd quarter. The Vikings first possession ended in the DRC pick six and their second took up the rest of the quarter (they scored early in the 4th).

gg siradam! I appreciate you filling in.

I had a bit of a panic attack when Briggs went down late in the 4th and was put on the cart, but he'll only miss one game. Phew.
