CAG Madden League - CAGFL Superbowl I: Browns vs Broncos!

Yeah the playoffs are likely to happen, but I want people to try and play this week so I know which 8-12 of us will be in the playoffs.

Like I mentioned before if you want in the playoffs and you haven't played recently send me an invite to play or at least PM me to let me know what is going on and something can possibly be worked out.
 
DT778 and I finally got our week 6 game in. Sorry for the delay.

Broncos (DT778) 24 - Colts (SteveMcQ) 6

Good game. Those are the type of players I like to play. They actually call stuff that makes sense and play a really smart game. Not sure if it was my connection though so the lag kinda sucked. I didn't turn off my PC before jumping in the game, but I had nothing running in the background. At least I could see the interceptions that I threw in slo-mo. Hah.

And yeah, let's just do playoffs right now. Gears of War is gonna take up everyone's time.
 
Okay we'll do an 8 man double elimination playoff. Whoever wants in let me know. If more than 8 want in we'll either do NFL style, have a few prelim matches for people with lower record, or figure something out. I'll let PMs for who wants in to run a few days. also, let me know if you have connection issues with anyone in the league so I can try to avoid those matches in the playoffs if possible.
 
Well so far Gojtron contacted me about playing a makeup game so that puts him in the tournament and I figure TheRock and SteveMcQ want in so with me that is 4 now.

getmyrunon I know you're not interested and thamaster you have a spot if you want it, so I guess we got about three more to go. Ryles are you still interested? DT778? BigMes?

yeah the lag got heavy towards the end. ultimatematt says thats a lot of it has to do with distance and I agree with him. Also whenever I play my brother who lives in northern california the games are pretty fucking smooth.

Oh yeah, I'll play. My internet connection died on me in the middle of Uno btw and didn't come back on for a good while in the middle of Uno, Matt. So I just played with my Pinatas.
 
Yes I'm in. Stats can show whatever you want. You didn't pass until the 2nd quarter, and I'd like to see a pass chart as in percentage over 15 yards. Let the bracket fall where it may, my headset will stay in a drawer and I already proved that you can be stopped.
 
Okay looks like we will need to do a prelim game or something to make it an 8 man tournament. Would the bottom two even wanna do a best of 3 to get more people in the tournament?

2Fast and flybrione I"ll give you guys through Friday to at least get something started since Steve needs his opponent. If that works out then he can play you guys this weekend and if you guys get a start I'll give it a few more days. Everyone I'll give through Sunday to get a game in.

Great game all the way good running and passing attack from both teams very equal on both ends I just fucked up my coverage there at the end in OT. Nice game again 2Fast!

Hopefully Ryles will be on soon, but I told him in about an hour so I won't know, if we don't get it done today, I'm sure we'll get it done Sunday

Good game Batman. I don't think it's at all possible to tackle Alstott with any one player. That guy's a beast.

On another note, I haven't played Madden online in a while and this was the first time I played it with WiiConnect24 set up. I know there's not some huge downloads going on while it's on standby, but the game felt sluggish right after the snap on passes. Might just be my mind messing with me though. That pulsating blue of the Wii disc slot is mesmerizing.
