There is a good possibility I will be out of the league, I just got the 3 red lights. God I hate microsoft, they better not charge me for this

Sorry you last two guys we've had a final roster for awhile now, just picking teams now. I can list you guys as alternates though.

Speaking of which we made need an alternate later today. I'll update everyone with teams after I see how that goes.

mvp you and tavarua can go ahead and schedule a game and if the team list isn't situated just go ahead and use whatever teams you want. Though I'm pretty sure you're both getting the teams you requested so try to use those teams.

I'm still considering changing the divisions to be more based around region of players or playing habits, but for now this is what we'll go with. I'll update soon on preseason specifics, but more than likely what we'll do is play a preseason game against someone in our division. Probably just top two and botttom two go against each other to make things simple.
 
Would anyone want to help check out the schedule after I'm done to make sure I don't make any errors. If so drop me a PM I can probably get you a decent draft in a few days and the final one by the weekend.

Ok 2 quick things:

1. What are the settings and Rules for the league?

2. Does it make sense to play a divisional opponent, in a pre-season game.
 
yeah i agree with ajh. we shouldnt really be playing against division opponents in the preseason. since i assume the top 3 groups and the bottem 3 are the conferences how about this

I had you play divisional opponents because those are the people you'll see the most so its best to coordinate with them early. I'm not keeping track of win/loss for the preseason just who plays so I did things this way for simplicity. I did change things for tavarua and mvp since they might be out so their opponents are playing each other instead. Also, don't worry about the rules for the preseason. I'm still thinking about what rules I want to go with for the season. I think we'll play on at least All-Pro or All-Madden and 5 minutes seems good with me.
 
I worry 6 might be a little long for some people and honestly I think we'll have trouble getting games together with this many people anyway. Maybe we can try it for the first week and take it from there though.

Also, anyone wanna play now? I'm planning on getting on now.
 
if we are really concerned about scheduling people maybe we can re-arrange the divisions depending on where everyone lives. that way it might be easier for ppl on the coasts to get their games in. I should be able to play later today around 8 pacific, i'm on AIM and yahoo.

I've thought of that too. That's one reason I wanted the preseason to be based on divisions. If we run into trouble I could restructure divisions based on playing habits.

Honestly, without a program I think this division structure may be too complicated to set up and we might need to go to something similar.

Everyone please play your Preseason games against the division opponents. The divisions might not even stay like this and again this allows me to get an idea if the division players can meet up easily. If not its even more reason to try and restructure the divisions.

Yeah All-Pro difficulty, at least for the preseason and until we decide to change it.

JSK414, so you and your opponent played? For anyone else that plays can you PM me, at least one of the two people playing so I can mark down who has played. For preseason I don't need the score or anything just that you played.
 
Bengals @ Chargers... I got beat like JSK414 said. It was a good game but 6 mins is WAY TOO LONG. The game took like an hour and a half. We weren't done until like 4 A.M. his time and 2 A.M. my time.
 
Haven't heard from Dolphins owner yet.

I say we just count that game we played Matt, as my own. I'm in the league and interested. Plus it was too damn good of a game to not count for anything.
 
Would you guys want to play on All-Madden instead of All-Pro?

Also, the preseason will last through next week and then I'll get the season schedule up so don't worry about not getting games in yet there is still plenty of time.
 
If yesterday's game was any indication, then I wouldn't mind playing All-Madden. It's not as brutally painful a gaming session as I had anticipated against a Live opponent. I'll probably have to try a few more games to make a final judgement, but the feel of the game and the stats afterwards seemed pretty good.
 
I also propose a trade... heyyoeddie I will trade you the rights to the Bengals, in exchange I would require the rights to your Giants. (This is still preseason so I don't see a problem in switching teams if both parties agree.) Let me know if you are interested heyyoeddie
 
Hey Matt X, I was wondering if I could possibly switch my team before I play my first game. If it is possibly, I would like to switch from the Panthers to the Lions. I don't think anybody has the Lions. Post or PM telling me if this would be okay.
