CAG Madden League - CAGFL Superbowl I: Browns vs Broncos!

Can the following players give me their general location for division structuring? If you already sent this to me sorry if I missed it before.

Okay I've made the divisions up. We only need RedvsBlue to get his team and then everythings ready. The first weeks schedule and divisions will be in the first page in a few minutes.

Games for the first week should be played on All Madden with 5 minute quarters.

I get off work at 10 EST. I can play around then if you're up, if not we'll just do it thursday like planned.

I can play later. Are you on fairly late? If so we can play after I get back in from the stores. If not I could probably play pretty soon. I will probably be on my computer not Live, but I'll watch my friends list from here and I'll message you if I see you on.

The Rock and I just finished our showdown, sort of. I got disconnected from the game (not from live, just the game?) with 3:20 ish to go in the third. I was up 35-3 at the time (score is deceptive, I got pretty lucky) so we're going to call the game a victory for me. Is that cool?

In case this happens again when a game is closer, what are the rules regarding a completed game?

I haven't thought about home and away. Anybody have any suggestions? Maybe I can try to keep track of it and work it into the schedule some, but it probably doesn't matter much in the pro game like it would in NCAA.

So you guys agreed you getting the win was fine getmyrunon? In the future I say basically its up to the players if you wanna restart a disconnected game and either play over or keep the score when you got cut off. Personally, I think we should play over before halftime unless its really lopsided.

May also wanna do something where if you're cut off in the fourth just try to remember the score and recreate the circumstances the best you can in another game. So if you got like 2 minutes left in the game, remember that score and play like two minutes of the first quarter like its the end of the game.

gg getmyrunon. Your defense was a nightmare. Something like 6 sacks (2 forced fumbles).
 
I just want to let everyone know once again this week will go through next Friday. If you don't play by then you're out unless your opponent is the problem.

So for potential replacements be around next weekend. I'll need people to step in quickly if we need replacements. What we'll do if your opponent is the problem we'll just skip your Week 1 game and try to work it in during Week 2 or whenever possible.

Hopefully, it isn't an issue and everyone good luck with your games.

In my game with Ultimate Matt X my defense decided not to show up until the second half. I ended up losing by just 6 points.

It was kind of funny though because there was plenty of time on the play clock so he could have just ran out the clock but I got him to run one last play anyway. He does and he ends up fumbling (or was it an interception, I can't remember now) anyway, I recover, and run it in for a touchdown as the clock runs out.

It was a blast of a game though, I'm just a little pissed that my defense just couldn't do anything to stop him in the first half and then in the second half they were like freakin all stars. Oh well, like I said at the beginning, I'm not going into this league with the expectation of winning very many games.
 
Broncos beat the cardinals 54-28

really a game of turnovers in bad positions for me. I think he had 2 defensive TD's. Leinart threw for over 300 yards with 2 touchdowns, but also threw 5 INT's. Ouch. Edge rushed for 140 yards, so it was a good game, but too many turnovers on my part

alright steveMCQ and i tried to play twice tonight, 8 and 12-1 and both times we couldn't connect. Also i invited phootie tang and we were also unable to connect. he also mentioned that he was having problems connecting with his opponent for the week. i told pootie and steve that i would post for all of them about the difficulties, it may be an EA server fuck-up
 
Yeah, I hope it was an EA server problem and not just a connection fault on the user end. Really odd. It'd let me accept and send invitations, but once I get to the team select screen, the connection always drops. It won't even let me have a Private Chat either.

Jumped into single player after trying to connect with him as well and after backing out to the main menu, the error screen "The session is no longer available" randomly pops up. Really weird. Hope there's a fix for it though.
 
Tried things again with MVP and we still can't connect. He was playing with another guy before our game and it worked fine for him as well as after. I've played with Matt and jumped in a ranked match with a guy after ours wouldn't connect and my game went through fine as well, so I can't figure out what the problem is. Anyone have any ideas?

Sorry about that again MVP. Not sure if it's my end or EA, but we're just not having much luck.
 
Yeah I know, I don't know what the hell the problem is with the two of us connecting. I can play with everyone else but, you and you can play everybody but me. Something is fucked-up.
 
Tavarua88 won 28-24 in a hard fought battle. I started off slow, coming from behind but could never finish the job. Good game and look forward to playing again.
 
mvp or Steve have either of you guys ever had problems in games like Halo 2 or Perfect Dark connecting to people? It could have something to do with NAT settings, which you can check out a guide to fix that in the Chromehounds thread or just try playing without routers plugged in if possible.

I'll pop in PDZ and see if I get problems and check out the Chromehounds thread as well.
 
Looks like it was my router that was causing problems MVP. Sorry 'bout that. Made some settings changes and it should be alright now. Send me an invite if you see me on and we'll try again. Sorry 'bout that. Hope it works now.
