Yeah, I'm not really sure what I should do in terms of deadlines. As it is, there are only 3 teams left in the NL. If I start simming wildcpacs games, that's going to automate things even more. I don't think there is anybody in the league who is out of games to play, so we're not at a complete standstill yet. I still want to keep the one game a week "deadlines" in place even if I don't actually resolve the games. HOWEVER, once we do reach a standstill, games from the earliest "unfinished" week will be resolved immediately.
wildcpac has always been good about getting his games played, and he's in first place, so I don't want to screw him out of a playoff spot. But at the same time, I can't let the league get bogged down either. So, I guess when he gets back, if he can catch up before those games HAVE to be resolved, I'll allow it. But again, there will still be the expectation that people play one game a week, and any game past its deadline is subject to being resolved at any time. Does that sound reasonable to everybody? Of course nothing with this league could possibly come easy, but that's the best I can come up with.
Having said that, the official deadline for Series 3 games is tonight at 11:59 PM EST. As I mentioned, I'll hold off on resolving these games until we actually need to. But once one team runs out of games, I'll have to do it just to move the schedule forward...and even then we'll only be moving one week at a time (since completing one week only opens up one week). It would be great if we could get some of these weeks knocked out before their deadline even comes. I was hoping there would be another week where we could do 2 series in one week, so things wouldn't take so long...but I guess as long as we're moving forward, it's something.
