I won't be available to play until late Friday night. If you see me online, just send a message and I'll arrange to play ya. Send a friend request to CAG 2K Sports so we can see when everyone is online.

I do believe you still have to move the game you want to play into your "first week" queue of 5 games on 2ksports.com.
 
I'll be available to play on Saturday. If you see me on live that day just send me a message and I'll arrange to play against you. Also, I had to do some adjusting on the league page to the W-L records since some of them were not showing up correctly on the website (but they do so when accessed on the 360).

I've also noticed that there's about 3 teams that have not played a single game and their users have not been around here participating actively in this thread. I will be reaching out to these people and if I don't get a reply soon after then we're gonna have to start looking for replacements.

Once again I want to thank all of you that are actively playing your games and trying to set up some matchups. The times I've played against my opponents have been full of fun no matter if I win or lose and I look forward to playing with more people that use the headset :) I also want to point out some stats:

- Dallas Maverics (WeavShow) have the most wins and the best record (4-0), followed by the Lakers
(Matt Young) and their 3-1 start.
- Kobe Bryant leads the league in scoring (31.3 PPG)
- Wizards and Suns have played the most games sofar (5 games each)
- Chris Paul is averaging 11 assists per game (3 games)
- After 5 games the Suns are winless :(
- Only 2 uploaded videos ??? we need more fellas c'mon!

Remember to free up your game queue of the games that you have completed already, create a user ID @ the 2Ksports website in order to arrange your schedule from there and if possible post some game results on this thread. :)
 
Yeah, sorry I haven't been more active in the league. Gears 2 was a big distraction, and so was school. Gears hype faded out, so I'm ready to come back-- well, I mean, after Thanksgiving. =d

I'm not about to take sides, but I just want to say that this is one of the few things I hate about leagues- the dude that beat Denver deserves to keep his win, but you don't deserve a loss. But Masked Lemon is a good guy and wouldn't have bailed if he had any other choice, so I'm not faulting him.

Gears hype may have faded, but I still have just as many Live friends playing it... We should play that game sometime, for the record.

JuanC, dudedizzle- I can play Sunday. I'd love to get at least one game in, if not more. If we start any time through 7 P.M. Pacific, that'd be good for me. Let me know if you are available, please. That goes for other people as well, though I can't guarantee that I'll have time to play more than 2 games total.
 
Yeah, that's the problem. I'm sure whoever got their win deserved it, but I joined the league with a loss and me being competitive I can't stand to look at it.
 
I made a mistake. I said I could play on Sunday, but I can't. Turns out there's a hockey game at 5 (my friend has season tickets) and I forgot about it till last night. No one accepted my challenge anyway, but I just wanted to let everyone know.

I have been busy every night this past week between hockey games and the holidays, and I have been going to sleep early to try to adjust so I can get up early (compared to my insomniac/falling asleep well after sunrise schedule) on Monday for a placement exam for school. But after Monday I'll be back to being available often and in the evenings. There's also the strong possibility that I can play Sunday and Monday if we start no later than noon Pacific/3 Eastern.
 
wow crazy game with Franky. CP3 hits the 3 as time expires for the 117-115 win. Uploading reelmaker clip now.

Franky definately had me playing a style I did not want to play. Incredible game.

Yes it was a very fun game. I wish I would have come out on the other side, I'm just glad I've found a camera angle that lets me enjoy the game online. Missing free throws down the stretch isn't going to win you any games!

Anyone who wants to play me I will be on tomorrow night and even still later tonight.
 
I just realized Goodfella's season recap was wrong. The Mavericks don't have the best record at 4-0. They're 2-0. I had the best record at 3-1. Now I'm tied with MSUHitman, who beat me. But I would have the higher seeding due to being a division leader. Still, he's out of a playoff spot (I know it's very early) and I'm ranked 2nd in the conference due to the Mavericks being 2-0.

At the time when I posted that the Mavs were 4-0 but since one of the wins was against the Nuggets who were replace with a new user I reset the score on that one since it's kinda unfair to pin that one loss on the replacement and the season is still young. Right now the Mavs are 3-0 (beat the Magic, Suns, Clippers).
 
Alright, I won't make a huge fuss if everybody thinks the other way, but I don't see how it's fair to penalize me over the person who just joined the league. I was here from the beginning. Makes more sense to me that the penalty for joining late is you take whatever record your team had before you joined.

Also, it could make the league take a lot longer. What if someone drops out when they've already played 8 games? Are we going to have to wait for the new guy to play all 8 of those games while the rest of us sit around waiting? Obviously I'm biased, but I think it makes more sense to just keep the records the way they are.
 
I'll be on around 10:30 est if anyone wants to play the Pistons.

Anyone know if we can update the league rosters to include the recent trades?

I haven't checked the whole thread but if you still need a replacement and don't have a waiting list, sign me up for any team that's inactive.
 
FrankySox should be happy that he can use his favorite camera angle.

Also, Goodfella- can you please address the whole win/loss record issue for replacement players so that there are no disputes in the future?

If anyone can play at 6 Eastern, or late tonight, as in midnight Eastern or a little later, I'm game.
 
I'll play you tonight. Hopefully, you're not a Kobe cheeser though that should be addressed partly with the update. Oh, and by the way the replacement issue has been addressed as my record has been reset.
 
What is your definition of a Kobe cheeser? Of course I use Bryant as my main offensive option because he's the best player on my team and one of the best in the league.
 
Yeah, but I'm talking every time down the court you drive in with kobe through any defense and he throws up a wild shot or rampages through everything receiving a dunk and usually an undeserved blocking foul. When you score 65 with kobe and your team total is 75, your cheesing.
 
Oh, okay. I'll admit, I will go for the dunk if I think I have an easy 2, but I often try to set up my offense for the best possible open shot whether it's Kobe taking it or not. I'm averaging 88.5 ppg with my team and Kobe's averaging 31.3 per.

As for the replacement issue, I was referring to down the line like if, such as in a scenario someone suggested, a user has played 8 games and then is replaced. Resetting the record then would not only be unfair, but would basically kill the league. I was just wondering what Goodfella's stance was.
 
Yeah, I understand that kind of replacement, but I'm talking about the 1 loss that was reset due to it being earned by the player prior to me.
 
My stance?, plain & simple: As a replacement you assume the record already left by the prior user whether it be 1 loss or 10 losses.....you can't take away the wins from the other members that earned them. It's the consequences of joining a league already in progress.

Yeah I agree, we have enough problems trying to get people to play as it is. Resetting the records would be a guarantee that this league never gets done.

but there's a chance for a rematch, cause it look like the 2k league didn't recognize it. Which is weird cause it was in my queue and we played @ the Clippers, which it stated. =/
 
Maybe he didn't put it in his queue. Anyone up to play the Lakers over the weekend? Saturday is best for me as I am attending hockey games Friday and Sunday night.

It is advised you edit your schedule while your and your opponents console is not online. If it is, we recommend a fresh reboot to ensure all stats record correctly.
