CAG/PS3 Red Faction: Guerrilla Night [Thursdays @ 10pm EST]

What gamemode did you guys pitch the shutout in? Was it a pub game? I was on the team that won that team bagman game 250-0, but that was amongst ourselves.

I can play uncharted beta on wednesday, probably about 10 eastern, playing some C&C with my friends at 8.

The shut-out was in Siege mode on the Crescent map. We had every building repaired to 100% during a public match. The other team ended with zero points.

10pm on Weds works for me.
 
I may be down for a little bit of U2 online Wed... not for long though, I want to finish QoS if I do a lot of game playing Wed.

That's right, HOCKEY SEASON!!!!

Hockey season kicks off on Thursday so there is a 95% chance I won't be playing Red Faction (damn you :bomb::bomb::bomb:) that night.

But maybe I will defy the odds and drop by.... it is a mystery.

Damn this game looks sick & has a great CAG community behind it, but im gonna be so tied up with U2 & MW2 that I'll have no time for this. But maybe if this is still going strong in about 5-6 months, but i doubt it.

I don't have to justify my teams to you, just kidding. Yeah I admit its weird, but its mainly because I wanted to like the same things as my friends when I was a little kid. One of my best friends was a penguins fan, and another was a phillies fan.
 
Hah well at least the Pens are a fantastic team! I'm a Canucks fan myself.

But yes it is weird (not really) meeting someone that is a fan of a Philly team and also a fan of a Philly team's arch rival even if they are different sports.....
 
Bleh. Pro sports. I don't know how anyone can watch those fuckin' overpaid primadonnas play. Unless you've got good $$$$ wagered on the game, there's no reason to watch and cheer for 'your team'. :razz:

Oh and blader 16, I would play THIS game and let MW2 and Uncharted 2 sit and collect dust for a few months, since the communities for those games will still be there. This game is pure awesomeness though, as compared to those two overhypes pos's.

How the hell did you beat all the Pro times in Transporter? I gave up even trying on some of them after getting nailed by so many NPC vehicles while en route to my destination. It was a miracle I even made some of the transporter missions in the time they give you.

K, since I decided to just cancle my World of Warcraft subscription for like the next 4-6 months since ill be so busy with these games, I plan on picking this game up when I get U2 & MW2.

So.... it looks like an Uncharted 2 thread has already started. I know we've all been talking about doing an Uncharted 2 night, I would assume that we'd just convert Monday nights to Uncharted once it hits right?

Since I won't be playing tomorrow night (or will I....????) we should probably talk about it tomorrow or I guess this thread will do................ (or will it.....????)
 
For Randy, DD, and Truthiness, the VI we saw is the series of ranks beyond 50, the guy was essentially rank 56, apparently it goes up to X being 60 and thats it.

The only thing about MW2 that appeals to me is the single player campaign. I'm not really interested in playing that game online.

Borderlands, if it turns out to be the game it promises to be, has the potential to be a massive timesuck for me, though.

It seems almost like a clone of RF:G in some ways, except it doesn't seem to take itself quite as seriously. It's almost like a mix of Mercenaries 2 and RF:G.

Dammit. Why did I have to come into this thread again today? Now there's yet another game I wanna add to my ever growing backlog.

Mind ya, if I had kept every game I've bought/traded/sold/etc since I got my PS3, I'd have closer to 50-60 titles right now. I'm sure I'll buy 'em all back someday, but will I ever play all of them? I'm stuck in the same rut as last gen, tons of games to complete but IF I complete em I go back to GTA. :whistle2:X

Oh wow, Borderlands will support offline split screen..... since I can most likely get either Uncharted 2 or Borderlands, I might end up getting Borderlands instead.
 
This is the first I'm hearing of Borderlands... and it has piqued my interests. :)
Does kind of look like RF:G thrown with a bit of a Fallout 3 and Team Fortress 2's art style. ;)

Damn, that game looks like it would be a beast if it supported multiplayer (not co-op).

Now im re-thinking if i should even get RF:G or just wait till Borderlands.
