CAG/PS3 Red Faction: Guerrilla Night [Thursdays @ 10pm EST]

Hey guys, unfortunately I am going to have to bow out from hosting the Monday Red Faction nights for the near future. Because everything over here is so topsy turvy I can't guarantee I'll be around every Monday night, or for how long if I do show up. Things will settle down in a few weeks though so hopefully I can start playing with you guys consistently again after that.

goozex officially got gang raped tonight with the release of Uncharted 2. im 98, so probably get it for christmas instead. so guess ill start playing then.
 
Nice games, guys. Those were probably our best two siege matches of all time. I was seriously impressed by how fast we destroyed all the targets in that Cornered round. And I'm glad I was there to witness the synchronized guard tower destruction. :applause::applause::applause:
 
Yeah the shutout was also pretty awesome, but it was a whole team of blues. I was pretty worried we were going to get crushed on Cornered after they did their sneak attack on the towers, but then we completely rolled over them! Amazing. And I think that was the absolute fastest we've finished Gauntlet, too.

p.s. Sorry Randy. :lol: Hope the game's fun.

Yeah, once my U2 comes from Amazon I'll be up for some games. I'm mainly looking forward to COOP, but I'm sure I'll play a few comp games here and there.
 
Spent some time last night getting killed on the Great Wall map in Battlefield 2. MisterB and xxx, do you want to make that the new Wednesday game? (I'm up for it any time, but I'm just suggesting Wednesday to be organized. :))

I'm trying to round up a few more people so we'll have a full squad.

And no... I'm cheap and got free shipping from Amazon and I don't have my copy yet.
Amazon pisses me off with their shipping... I know it's free and okay, I'm going to get it later than people who pay, but they lie about when they ship. There's no way they actually shipped it on the 12th when they say they did, packaged, maybe, but USPS has no record of the tracking number and once they do I'll get it in 2 days. It always happens that way.:roll:
 
ECA's been working for me... although I somehow got the arrangement where it automatically applies the discount without having to enter any codes. :cool:

Also they need to hurry up and announce that I won one of those Fortune Hunter editions.

I'm up for either game, still have no pc mic if thats a problem. Now that I passed the annoying stealth mission Uncharted is really sinking its claws into me. (Having never played the first, the single player seems to be almost a self contained story, is that right? I met the girl who I am assuming is from the first game.)

DD, Battlefield 2 is 10 bucks at your local Best Buy if you don't feel like waiting to find something else to buy on amazon.

It does seem very self-contained...there's not really anything that I've seen in the first few chapters that require knowledge of Drake's Fortune (aside from a few little characterization nods).

And, yes...Elena is from the first game. That's why she introduces herself to Chloe as "last year's model".
