CAG/PS3 Red Faction: Guerrilla Night [Thursdays @ 10pm EST]

I won't be able to play anything much this week. I have my very young nephew sleeping on my couch so I can't play much beyond ratchet and clank. Thursday I'll probably be in Seattle so no RFG

Should I change the thread title back to "Mondays and Thursdays"?

Also: The Saboteur is only $19.99 now at Amazon. I thoroughly enjoyed it and I suspect many of you will, as well.

Yeah we got games pretty easily and rolled everyone we played except for one game. I am still pretty pissed with how that game went down because it was 4 of us vs a team of 5. I blame Mr. B :cool:

Anyways majority of people were newish. But I am not sure if you want to change thread title back to Mon/Thurs since we don't know how many people still want to play on Mondays?

Yeah I just got a weird bug in JC2, got the video capture has run out error, then when I got back into the game, I had no sound and no hud. It was very odd.
 
I think that's a known glitch Mr B, not sure if it is going to be patched though since it seems to be PS3 specific....

Also metaly I think the best part of that video is how he shoots that poor guy at the very end. It was like... WHY?????????? Oh... because it would be AWESOME.

Nothing respawns in the game world unless it's needed for a mission.

Say you destroy a bridge and a building. Then you start a sidemission to destroy the already destroyed building. Game loads mission up and the building is back. Bridge is still gone since it wasn't necessary for this mission. After the mission is over game saves the recent state of the world.

The sidemissions where you ride turret gunner for what-his-face rebuild a lot. I've started the missions, then quit them to have things rebuilt for me. Of course playing with cheats disables autosave so it's great for sprees of destruction.

It's too bad EA wouldn't change their price on their website to match Amazon(and Kmart) at $19.99 cuz then you could get the game for $5 from their online store with the readily available $15 off $20 codes people are getting from Recycle Bank for posting stuff on Kashless(like Freecycle).

The whole thing is detailed in the now closed EA Store thread. Many of us were getting 9 $20 games for $26 shipped by double stacking two codes(Pax East $20 off $40 and the aforementioned one).;)

I'd gladly pay $5 for Saboteur, but after feeling like I got the Gamestop treatment by buying Mercenaries 2 at launch from Pandemic, I just can't justify even paying $20 for it.

I HAVE to try that now. Normally I'm spending so much time just using the grapple gun to pull myself along the enviro, but I think I have to try attaching a car to a bridge.;)

Worst. Promotion. EVER. Not that I think I'll even replay RF:G cuz I'm still playing JC2, but if I wanna just go around destroying buildings I'll pop it in for a taste of what Mercs 2 SHOULD have been. Five fuckin' C4 charges don't bring down a big building in that game.
 
After playing through GoW (twice) and GoW II over four days I don't know if I'll be able to make it Thursday... my thumbs may still be in casts... :bomb:

Speaking of which, anyone planning on playing the GTA IV Episodes multiplayer at all? I've heard(and seen videos) that one of the episodes has the APC as a selectable vehicle for races.;) I imagine it would be like deja vu from the Biff races from the old GTA IV night with people glitching through the bridges and everything at the start of the race.

I also imagine it could get quite hairy if the APC has a cannon of some sort on it.:D;)

EDIT: I'm also seeing that they now have nitrous in car races. So that could turn out quite interesting too.;)

Not really, but it's one of the funnier experiences I had playing GTA IV online, besides of course nuking my friends while in the chopper en route to the container ship in BDB II the one time. LOL

Probably the best moment had to be the first time I brought back an attack chopper from Algonquin or the airport in a DM/TDM and just flattened everybody with it.

Personally, I just wanna play a couple races with the APC's.

When someone says "... for some reason" it typically means they don't remember. So asking why is kinda pointless. Though I'll go out on a limb here and say you posted something he found offensive or annoying or something like that.

Flik is just angry that his Canucks are the weakest of the top four seeds in the west and will probably lose in the first round no matter if they play LA, Detroit or Nashville ;).

Also if everything goes to plan we should have two more people that have the DLC ;).

Top points scorer in the entire league. 4 out of 10 players in the top 10 +/- in the entire league. 3rd best goal differential in the entire league. Highest scoring team in the entire western conference. Most wins on home ice in the entire league. Highest number of comebacks trailing after 2 periods in the entire league with 11 (almost made it 12 last night).

All of this when our best scorer was out for 18 games, our top shutdown defenseman has been out since January (Malkin can eat a dick), also the team had to endure the longest road trip in NHL history and our biggest concern is if our gold medal winning, vezina calibre goalie can step his game up for the playoffs.

Vancouver will be just fine thank you. ;)
