I know I've been wishing I could listen to you another hour or so every week... make it happen!
That can be arranged, DD...just give me your cellphone number and I'll start leaving you 3am voicemail tirades.
What topics would you cover? Need some people to join you???
I would definitely want other voices in the mix!
I'd want it to be funny, personal, and unique. There are tons of podcasts where people can get release dates and NPD numbers so I'd want to make sure it's not about gaming as a business. I'd want it to be more about gaming as a culture and a lifestyle. Video games would always be the center of the conversation but there should be discussion of music, movies, politics, etc., as well.
Obviously, I have a few ideas kicking around in my head but I haven't really fleshed anything out yet. We should brainstorm.
You know, there have been quite a few times listening to the Mobcast where I've thought it would be cool to do something similar. I really enjoy their format and they're always able to come up with interesting topics. And even though he hasn't been a Mobcast regular in forever, I think I could give Robert Ashley some competition in the just-barely-enthused, monotone droning department. (Just kidding, I love you, Robert!)
Also the
horchata turned out pretty well:
Look, I made vegan horchata:
Robert Ashley's awesome. A Life Well Wasted is pretty exceptional. He and John Davison are easily my favorite video game podcast guests. I've never listened to the Mobcast, though...I'll have to check it out.
Oh shhhiiii......
Animal Crossing 3DS screens!
Looks like it's a little more developed than just a tech demo since the characters are taller and there's stuff like lamp posts around town. (Also a beach on the LEFT?!? Have I gone CRAZY??) But I'm pretty sure I have every single item shown in my ACWW catalog... Please don't make the exact same game again, Nintendo!
A beach on the left? Weird. This must be Animal Crossing: Los Angeles.
I love the headline, though: "Animal Crossing 3DS Screens are Already in Debt to Tom Nook".
Also, Nintendo would never re-heat the same game over and over and serve it up as a new product. Never!
Still...looks awesome. I want it.
