I could care less about the whole thing... like the movie says, whatever works. If dolls make his life more bearable, then... whatever works.
Video capture is a little buggy right now. I could capture and upload without a hitch for a few days, now half (or more) of the time it "freezes" the game when it's supposed to ask for Youtube login info. Hopefully a patch comes along to fix it. The "audio/video/control" thing is another bug that is hopefully fixed as well. Do you get how it's supposed to work?
Guards are a dick. I started messing around with a helicopter, blowing up a humvee and set of guards standing around a refueling station. I fought off an enemy helicopter and when I turned around, the humvee and set of guards were back, unharmed.
There are locations where you can pick up guns without paying. Dead enemies, military strongholds, random spots (there's one spot that has a rocket launcher that never goes away... think about that time zen hosted and forgot to turn off "Weapon respawn: Always"), the area from the demo, but the Reaper faction headquarters is the one I use most (simply because it's near where I've been spending a lot of my time so far), it has a pistol, smg, shotgun, assault rifle, and grenades. I used the black market to buy a sniper rifle, once. Also, I'm fairly certain that, as long as they're not empty when a faction takes over, the ammo crates in faction strongholds are persistent. Though if they are empty when a takeover occurs, they disappear forever.
I guess utilizing those can slow the game down, but, for me, if I'm in a situation where I need ammo NOW (mission or 100%ing a military base or something) there is usually enough dead enemies (even if I have to use a weapon I'm not used to) and ammo crates around. If I'm just 100%ing a town or something, it takes an extra 10 minutes to extract to somewhere that has ammo crates and extract back.
Go for headshots and if someone is up high, pull him off with your grapple. If someone is alone, grapple him to something and then melee him, if it's just two people, grapple them together then melee.
The engine definitely isn't the best for cutscenes. It seems it has issues with displaying a lot of "up close" detail.
