ive prob logged into easily 64 accounts since i joined cag not to mention ive gameshared numerous accounts since late 2008. same ps3, i even created a bunch of useless account so i could get the create trophy for LBP. even so if u hit the magic 64 whos gonna stop you from making accounts on sony website

Thanks bast'

when you say we should be good to go, I'm not sure I follow...

we can't create 65 PSN users, period. Which is bad news, although it's good we know...

u can create accounts on qriocity all day long!!! then log in on ps3

And on LBP.me

You guys shouldn't worry so much, LOL!

I think you guys missed the point, whether you create on qriocity, playstation.com or LBP.me, if you wanna play the games, you're gonna have to log in on ps3 aka CREATE A PSN ACCOUNT

YOU CAN ONLY EVER LOG IN TO 64 PSN ACCOUNTS, that is, make 64 users (who makes users to not log on?)

you guys think CREATING an account on qriocity or wherever doesn't count as CREATING one on ps3? LOL

what does it say when you try to make a new ps3 user? CREATE user!

we could probably make infinite users , as long as we don't LOG TO ONLINE aka PSN (64 ONLY!)

The maximum number of PlayStation Network accounts that can be created on a single PlayStation 3 system is 64.

so you guys think CREATING an account on qriocity or wherever doesn't count as CREATING one on ps3? LOL

what does it say when you try to make a new ps3 user? CREATE user!

Things to note:

 • 64 accounts is a lifetime maximum number associated with the system.
 • Any attempt to create accounts beyond 64 will result in an error message.
 • Terminating, deactivating, banning, or suspending accounts will not result in the ability to create more accounts beyond 64.
 • Deleting local accounts on the PlayStation 3 will also not allow for more account creation beyond 64.
 • If you have reached 64 accounts on a single PlayStation 3 system, you must create new accounts on a different PlayStation 3 system in order to create additional (new) PlayStation Network accounts.

False, people have made 100's already to boost leaderboards (beat X amount on Friend's list) and H4H on LittleBigPlanet. Go "google it" and it's one of the first things that come up on Yahoo Answers. I also remember this coming up on GameFAQs too.

EDIT: Each needs a unique e-mail address though. You create on a website, use and deactivate when finished. PS3trophies.org would also be a good place to get verification.

link us c', i found nothing via google besides the stuff jamehze posted...

I don't see why you'd need 100 accounts to boost, 2, 3, 10 are enough! heck, the only time I did, I used an existing account!

You refuse to acknowledge the difference between creating an account on your PS3 itself and adding an account you created online. The latter does not count toward the maximum you can create on the console. I personally know 5 people who each have created over 100 accounts and associated them with a single console in order to boost a trophy that requires 1,000 ratings from distinct PSN accounts that result in higher than a 4 (out of 5) average across the thousand votes. There goes your theory about 2 accounts being enough to boost everything, but you want to insist the rest is BS, suit yourself.

EDIT Check the link to this trophy: http://www.yourgamercards.net/trophy_info/15863
If you look thru the "Latest 50 Achievers" list, you will notice that since Jul 14, 2009 (when they patched the easy way to get it), there have been 27 people to get this trophy. That is around 1 person each MONTH. I am one of them. The five people I spoke of are on that list too.

I don't think creating an account on a ps3 and logging in an account on a website created account is the same. Although i'd rather be cautious.

NSYNC, as much as i would love to believe you, if you can hit us up with a link, it would be great.

@tigerlust
If you personally know someone who has surpassed it, I'll take your word for it.

It's been discredited by Trophy Hunters and Boosters. How do you think they H4H or get on leaderboards without logging on to these accounts with their PS3's? The accounts were created online with an alt e-mail. The website is the "host" so to speak, not your PS3. If you deactivate and delete, the account is back in cyber space and has no ties to your PS3 or it's slots. It's the same reason you can name "CAGPSN" meeek and have different browser history and favorites than others using the account. "Create New User" doesn't mean anything if using "Existing PSN Account". This is where Qriocity helps. I'm pretty sure I'm over 64, but I'll count them and get back to you.

EDIT: 67 accounts, LOL!

36 for shares
31 for trophy/boosting purposes (games like LBP and Burn Zombie Burn)

EDIT 2: Went back and counted how many times I hosted, and it was 9. That means 10/64 counting my main. I have 14/16 active slots. I'm not under 67 accounts or miscounted either. I have my "shares" neatly organized in my PM's and my "trophy" accounts organized on Yahoo. If anything, I'm short. I hosted Heavy Rain DLC, Final Fantasy (789), Mirror's Edge x2, LBP DLC, Faery, Dead Nation, flOw and PixelJunk Shooter.

EDIT 3: I created 21 LBP accounts on LBP.me for H4H until I realized I could've just made more levels and hearted them with 1 PSN ID for the trophy, LOL! I passed them on to GameFAQs, but they seemed unorganized. I then created 10 for BZB! on Qriocity after "lurking" on PS3trophies.org. I have my main and the 9 I created on my PS3 to host here. I've legit made 41 accounts (10 on PS3) and bought 26 shares here (I could list them, but don't want to). As you can tell, I'm not big on asking for help when concerning trophies. I just boost them myself or get them legit.

EDIT 4: These websites (Qriocity/LBP) are also why I'm against large shares and the whole voting process. There's no need to conserve slots if you know what to do.

awesome news then! and thanks for keeping track.

I'll use websites from now on :p

I guess I misread, better safe than sorry!

Using a website created account then going on ps3 is NOT creating one of the 64 allowed.

What about existing, gameshare accounts you log onto, then???
e.g. someone else hosted a gameshare, you logon to that account, that wouldn't count as one of 64, would it?
you technically didn't "create" the account...

PS: I didn't say 2 accounts, I said 2, 3, 10, but was indeed waaaay off, didn't know trophy boosting was reaching these heights, lmao
e.g. someone else hosted a gameshare, you logon to that account, that wouldn't count as one of 64, would it? you technically didn't "create" the account...
Correct, only accounts created initially on your console itself count towards the 64. The shares I hosted had the accounts created online (except for the first few I made before I was aware).
didn't know trophy boosting was reaching these heights, lmao
I've had people pay me to get trophies on their PSN. It's pretty bad if they hook you in. I came to this thread because of flOw's DLC glitch preventing 100% with the free version. I ended up hosting flOw and am currently stuck with 3 shares, all for a bronze trophy. I essentially paid $4.80 for 100% next to my PSN for a game I already owned. The trophy took 5 minutes and I never would've bothered with the game if it wasn't free. So sad, LOL!

Nope. Sony is logging which PS3 is sending the info to create the account and subtracting one of their 64 slots. All the other shareholders are piggybacking off that PSN ID's 5 activate/deactivate slots, not the host's actual PS3. If your theory/worry held up, host would be losing 5/64 to the everyone else's 1 slot per group and be done sharing rather quick. I've hosted 9 times, but didn't lose 45/64 LOL! I lost 9 of my 64. If you use the websites as the host, the amount is endless. You got 64 chances to put info/create a PSN user on your PS3, not piggyback a gameshare. That's only 16 at a time, I believe. Hopefully I explained this well enough.

Sony said it multiple times in jamehze's link meeek.

From Playstation;

The maximum number of PlayStation Network accounts that can be created on a single PlayStation 3 system is 64.

Terminating, deactivating, banning, or suspending accounts will not result in the ability to create more accounts beyond 64.

Any attempt to create accounts beyond 64 will result in an error message.

If you have reached 64 accounts on a single PlayStation 3 system, you must create new accounts on a different PlayStation 3 system in order to create additional (new) PlayStation Network accounts.

With gamesharing, "the host" created the Playstation Network account and bought whatever, not your PS3. Hopefully, they were smart about it. They're very clear on a single PS3 and create. :)

EDIT: If I deactivate from a host's share, I never lost one of my "create" slots or cost him an additional one. My PS3 was never associated with his system or the account. The info only gave me access. Make sense?

How does saving online get handled when it's shared?
How does saving online get handled when it's shared?
If you mean the cloud, it can only be done on the actual PSN+ account. So none of you will have access to it unless you are actually using the PSN+ account itself.

But safe to say unless we agree to join our funds to buy a discounted game/item, this is going to be used just to download the free games? I just checked the PSN+ menu and I'm disappointed by the selection, I wish you could get all the past things offered as well. Hopefully we'll get some good stuff this year, tho.

Right. To me it's worth it just for the Genesis games, but I wish i had decided to get a share when Stacking was free.

Yeah, but those are merely discounted a couple dollars, they're not free. So how are we handling this?

I wouldn`t mind us getting some of the discounted game later one, provided everyone else agrees to it.

I mainly want it for the free stuff, early demos though.
@ $10 it seems worth it to me.

We will be up with making this a long term group and renewing every year? I'd rather not lose all these free games.
