I've heard a lot of this. It's definitely a bit diluted but i have no problem with games being made a little more accessible to casual gamers. That's sort of the beauty of it; you can attempt to mow down everything in your path, opt to be the perfect assassin - and everything in between. It's one of the few games on the market that can be tackled from various angles and it is still a game, like Blood Money and Silent Assassin before it, that requires a good bit of strategy, improvisation and use of the environment during the latter levels. The game is probably more Splinter Cell than classic Hitman but it is still a game that rewards patient players and it is still fun as hell to strive for that Silent Assassin rating.
