Hot damn! Not only one of the best games for the PSP (personally, I think it's #1), but the best monster hunter I've had the privilege of playing. The interface (organizing and moving weapons, items, etc) is better than the older versions, yet it doesn't have the difficulty-reducing mechanics of the later games (see: monster fatigue, longsword side-sweep). It has also has the most content of any Monster Hunter game. If you can control the camera with the second stick, I might have to pick it up again.

Needless to say, if you've been lucky enough to not play it yet, make sure to try it out. Expect to put in a hundred hours with ease.

Who where the participants of that J-stars group we formed 10-20 pages ago? Did you we get a host/fill the last spot?
I have a question for frequent GameStop shoppers.
Huh, why doesn't GameStop carry any PS Vita games(or at least recent ones)? I went to at least 15 GameStops between NJ and Manhattan, and no Vita games, accessories or memory card(if they had any it would be a 4GB). All they had was Fifa 13, Muramasa Rebirth, Most Wanted, Sly cooper, Tearaway, jack and daxter, Madden and so many copies of AC3L.

from what i heard from my gamestop ps vita wasnt selling well because of 3ds. the 2 local gamestop i went to dont have no new vita games or selling a new vita. only used. gamestop is all about making money from their consumer but not alot of people buy vita games

If the group for Castlevania LoS2 (cesart19's group) ain't completed yet because we need one more resell I'll take that damned resell then! (got the cash for it now)
I've GOT to play it, like the Castlevania fan I am.
So if the other phantom who got out of the group or whatever is still interested in a phantom then we should be all set?

It maybe true for hardcore players, but I think MHP3rd is more newbies friendly (just it never made it to the West :( ). IIRC you can control the camera with right stick as every other PSP games on Vita. Its a upgraded version of MHF2 so everything is pretty much identical only with new monsters, maps, weapons, armor sets and the fenyles AI.

I forget who it was, but I remember someone saying that there's no reason to battle enemies in Lightning Returns. After playing through two days in the game, I feel like that was the most incorrect thing I've heard about it so far. It seems like nearly all of the sub quests, and even some of the main ones require you to fight a decent amount of enemies. Plus, how in the hell would you recover EP if you're not battling?

Also the combat is fun, so there's that. I know I'm late to this party, but thought I'd give my opinion anyways.
