Well that’s good to hear, did it for 2 people went smoothly, took 5-10 minute tops

Only funny thing is you have purchased a collection game and want the dlc, you have to find said game and download through their proper page

If it’s brand new in your library it will be at the top in most recent, if bought earlier, you’ll have to go look for it

Looking for Yakuza 0; will be playing it on PS5 so it won't interrupt your PS4 activation. Rental or resell; if I like it, I'll probably need more than a week to finish it but less than a month.

Almost identical to PS4's except it's called something like "console sharing and offline play" instead of activations. And PS5 activations do not complete with PS4 activations.

I don't know if phantoms are possible.

From what I am reading online I can gameshare a game with one person. So we cant be both online I'm assuming but can be activated on both ps5s? But what about if you sell the whole account, does that mean you have one spot to rent out? The main account can always "deactivate"
 
Game sharing on PS5 works the exact same way as PS4, to put it simply. Except now you get one PS4 slot and one PS5 slot per account instead of just one PS4 slot. I don't recommend anyone doing rentals rent both slots out at the same time though, as if anything does go wrong you have no proof who the issue is with.

Does anyone have any experience with some of the Fortnite skin codes and Gamesharing them or at least getting access to them on a Child account when downloaded on the parent account?  For example,  If I redeemed a code for the deep freeze bundle on my Parent account would any of my childrends accounts be able to download the content?   I'm assuming the vbucks are a one time redeem, but surely don't want to buy this for all 3 kids.  lol

Generally currency is locked but individual DLCs normally work. Season passes that are tied to your account in-game do not work (Destiny, Division) but season passes that just give you small expansions (mass effect) work fine. So yeah don't bother (don't feed the shitty fornite machine even if the kids beg anyway imo)

Oh trust me I'm not buying it more than once, but the CAG in me wants to be able to put it on all 3 kids accounts if there is a way. Especially since every time my kids get tooth fairy money it goes directly into v-bucks lolll

There have been some reports of accounts getting banned/suspended for doing this. The PS5 accounts are getting permanent bans, while the other accounts are getting 2 month suspensions.
Probably not worth the risk. Be careful.

This is not true. If you click the link and read it you'll see it's people in Mylasia getting banned because the console isn't even available there yet so those accounts should never have access to login to a PS5. Ontop of that, people can just go on Sony's site and add the games themselves. Zero risk.

This makes no sense and is pretty outrageous if true a console can easily be bought via Amazon or any online store and shipped to that country by now since its already 2 weeks post launch in the US. Not everyone waits to purchase locally in their country

 
First of all how are these accounts getting banned without Sony knowing infos tied to the account? Even if the console isn't available there yet doesn't mean they can't import it from oversea. So I'm pretty sure it's more like a group of ppl openly admitting "hey give us money and we will get free games for you, contact us @..." like that.
 
Also the people who are saying they've been banned are admitting that they've sold dozens of accounts with access to the PS4 portion of the collection. Sharing once isn't an issue, but if you're going to keep using your console to sell PS4 access then no shit you'll get banned.
 
Someone on the PS5 preorder thread claims to have helped out 150 people in his chat group. This got his PS5 permabanned and and the chat group members had their accounts temp banned. Be careful everyone

There are a few people on reddit who claimed this as well. Might be the end of this topic if true, but I think these people are logging in with a TON of different accounts at once and the way we do it (1-2 accounts every 2-3 weeks or w/e) should not be an issue. Theoretically it is against TOS to give your account details to another user but there's no way to prove like, you're not just my cousin from across the globe visiting and activating your account. These guys are getting busted because they're dumb and doing like 10+ accounts in one day rinse and repeat.

I think the specific problem is that they are logging into other people's PSN accounts on their systems and making purchases, which flags it to Sony as the account being hacked.

Could be. Only time will tell on this one. I have 6 users on my PS5 and no issues. A redditor said he did the PS+ thing for 10 friends and still wasn't banned a week later. I really doubt they just up and changed their backend scripts for PSN account banning for the PS5 release, so you're probably right in your theory. It makes the most sense.

It’s 2017, Mass Effect : Andromeda releases on the 21st, a Tuesday

I was immensely excited to play this game, I reached out to Pravado inquiring for a phantom.

After sending payment...

Pravado then tells me that he has a condition, that he insists I download on the same day of the game’s release AND by 11am that day..I also had school that day...He tells me to use the preload feature that morning so it should be fine...


It’s a pretty short window, but, since I already paid what could I do, so I hoped for the best as I also had high speed Internet, so whatever, should be ok - or so I thought.

Day of release, the preload option isn’t working. I search the net and others are having the same problem... I panic, (looking back now, it’s so stupid, yeah, I should have just deactivated and been done with it) When I came home from school I tried to download the game, that knowing I had fast internet it would have taken maybe 1 hour? - I tried to explain that I had fast internet but he wasn’t hearing it...Mass Effect had the better of me and I was bent on downloading this game...

so, yeah, I was definitely in the wrong here, I admit it, and I am really sorry for that, Pravado.

Full disclosure, admittedly, coming in here and seeing Pravado’s post had me remembering the situation differently, until of course I found the conversation...I’m pretty embarrassed that I acted that way over a game. It’s humbling to say the least.

that's half truthful, when payment was sent (3 days prior to game release) i said

"only requirement i have is that you are done downloading and ready to be phantomed by tuesday at 11am est. this should not be an issue given that preload is up right now

also if for some reason it doesn't show up under downloads or on the psn store available for download you can sign into the psn store website and go to download list or something and download it through there"

no mention of "the preload isn't working" until the day of, and I took off work to play it. i also offered either a refund or a phantom within a few days

since you are man enough to admit you were wrong, no harm no foul. i forgive you

Oh, I'm certainly not denying what you're mentioning. Of course, I admit what you're saying, Though see, I believed I felt entitled to the download because all of these requirements were said after nearly 4 1/2 hours after I had sent payment, so I felt kinda duped...
