I actually tried to game share. I did all the stuff(made a new user account, used login info) but when I go to the download list on PSN and select the full game, it doesn't download properly. I have no idea why the full game isn't downloading. If I download a demo the same way, it works. Can anyone tell me what's wrong?

More Detail: When I click to download the full game the system does so really fast in like 2 seconds, and then it moves to intstallation, but for some reason it doesn't actually download the game.

Hey guys, I'm pretty new to the whole PSN thing. I am looking for a few other CAGs to gameshare with. I don't have many games right now, but I plan on adding a lot more to my collection once I find the right group. My funds for gaming are unlimited, so if I could just join a group that randomly buys games casually, that would be rad.

I would also like to get a group together for some older items. Having not had my PS3 for too long there are plenty of things I would still like to grab.

I ran into the same problem. It turns out that when you download the full game all you are really doing is unlocking the demo. At least that is what happened to me. I bought three games and deleted the demos because I thought the full game would be different. I ended up re-downloading the demos then went in to my history and downloaded the full game which unlocked the demo and they worked perfectly.

Started single player for the first time and put a good hour in with no problem

I know for a fact that you can game share Socom Confrontation but the downside is the 24 hour lock and I can live with that.

hey danny8k, how do you delete accounts off your ps3, does it need de-activating or can you just delete user? Also is 15 the limit to users you can get games from at one time?
 
you have to de activate it and yea you get 16 user accounts..

what is the 24 hour lock on the socom?

isn't it like war hawk where only one person can play it per PS3 if you share

If I remember correctly, you just have to login into the account you want to delete, then press triangle on the user name and select delete. The content you downloaded with that account will still remain in the system (unless you delete it before) but it won't be playable.

And, yeah, you can have content you downloaded from the 16 accounts at one time.
 
Deactivation (Freeing up a license in case you need to format drive, replace, etc) DO THIS BEFORE DELETING YOUR ACCOUNT

1) Log into the account that you would like to deactivate.

2) Go to "Playsation Network" and make sure you are signed in. From here, select "Account Management"

3) Select "System Activation", "PS3 System", "Game" and "Deactivate System". This will remove you from the group and return a free slot.







Also, anyone interested in a Call of Duty MW2 map pack group? They say they are gonna have 2 map packs. PM me if interested.

yes, same thing. Also, for those interested in trading with me for my copy of Socom - I have a copy on disc so you wouldn't have to worry about running into a 24 hour lock.
 
Is there any group out there that I can join? I'm really disappointed because I don't know anyone with a PS3, and CAG is the only place that I would trust to share accounts with. I know I'm kind of a newbie here, but I have some trades under my belt, plus I've been an avid fan for awhile but signed up recently.

If anyone is willing to take me in, please PM me. Or if anyone has games and wants to start a group, lets do it.

Not sure how well this will go since I've only recently got around to registering But I've done quite a few game shares with peeps here. Anyway I'd like to start a long term group as I have to many users on my ps3 (11). Start with $10 doesn't matter what we get as long as everyone is in agreement. I'll even cover if say one person just absolutely refuses to get something everyone else wants excluding RB/GH/LBP crap.

apparently they can BAN PS3!!!

got off phone from sony

he said tech department is closed now but he said AZNx92's PS3 will be banned

and i did some research and they can perm ban ps3 as well as acc
 
i had my account stolen once, will never make that mistake again, id rather lose out on like 2 3 dollar game share group.

thats why you make sure you download it and then get what you ask for before you give it away

How it will work:
-$10-$15 * each a month (either everyone log on and deposit money into the PS wallet or send me though paypal, though fees would have to be added)

* Price is negotiable -- The high price point is to catch up on any DLC members want from the backlog... otherwise, I expect it to be only $8 monthly for stuff within the last 6 months and recent releases -- See point (#)

-Concentrate mostly on new releases, and old releases that everyone in the group wants.
- (#) We buy DLC based on majority vote from the group (IE: 3/5 votes to buy the DLC for a certain song ; please be open minded for genres)
-Hopefully eventually get all good/worthwhile Rock Band DLC
-Can also do game shares of certain games if *all* members agree. Extra money would have to be deposited for game shares.
-The group CAN buy the Export Key if no one else has it.

that idiot changed info to that after he took my acc. so when i got the acc, that info was on my acc

he prob thought i cant take the acc back if he changed info

and that info is so true considering his Aim acc and CAG acc
