Yeah, so I fell off a ladder yesterday doing a field survey and broke my elbow. They put a full arm cast on so I don't know if I'll be able to play anything for a while...

Damn, man that sucks get better soon. But on the bright side I have been looking for someone with a breoken arm to play Street Fighter against.

Played some respawn on ff last night, let's just say it's a tough transition from 100+ hours on cod. Getting my component cables tonight so maybe I can actually see something on my TV... Also need to look into picking up that map pack. Any gameshare groups out there? I'm kinda strapped for cash right now but would like to get the most out of this game. Anyway, I'll be on tonight if anyone wants to play a few games.

if you can type, you can play. i'm just playing, get better. Hopefully I can join you guys this sunday or tuesday. I still havent updated my ps3 that has the socom DLC. Anybody selling a share of DLC?
 
Yeah It was fun. Boy am I rusty. Anyways Im pretty sure Im going to game on Tuesday so I wont be around. Hopefully we dont get raped by the refs this time

Got in a few games with goldbug last night.. I'm awful. I played a handful of frostfire respawn matches before I got the map pack and held my own (kd was over 1 every game), but in the ranked ones I'm lucky to get a kill. Maybe it's a matter of learning the maps a bit more but I'm not seeming to have much success. Any suggestions besides just keeping at it?
 
Same here MillerTime if you see me online just hit me up I'm always down for a game of SOCOM. You'll get better at it, I still suck at it, but not as much as when I first started. I think I played about 15 ranked games before I even got a kill. Plus the guys in here always give real good advice.
 
I used to be pretty decent in the socom 2 era, but that was way back in the day... I'm loving those maps (desert glory, crossroads, vigilance.. especially frost fire) the confrontation only maps really throw me off. But yeah once I get my internet / connection issues figured out I'll send a friend request your way.

Yeah its basically knowing the maps. Socom is chess as you know. Gotta out think and out maneuver the opponent, and its hard to do if you don't know the maps
 
MillerTime, Hopefully we'll get enough CAGs online Sunday night and we can play some games against each other. That really helps you to get to know the maps and the strategies as everyone is friendly within the CAG clan.
 
Welp. Good news is I fell asleep and missed that embarrassment of a basketball game last night. Bad news is I fell asleep and missed out on game night... Sigh. Maybe someday I'll get in on a cag night.
 
Good Games last night. We need to have a F57/Mark 23 frostfire elim match. I think it would be really fun.
I'm not just saying this because of my F57 headshot either ;)
 
it was finally nice to have some time to play some video games. I wish i remembered how to switch to my deagle sooner than later.

We had a great last couple of games. We were paired up with a clan that was evenly matched. They didn't have a bunch of snipers and the rounds went back and forth with the CAG clan coming out on top both times. A great way to end the night.

I refuse to believe these two things happened, ESPECIALLY the second one ;). I will be there Tuesday, I still want to get the pistol rounds organized.
