Uh, i'd love to get in on this a bit if I can, my psn is Bloodweaver; so ya'll can invite me if you like. Though I warn you that i'm a noob, don't have a huge sense of teamwork (I inevitably end up alone) and can't always get at 10.

That is refreshing to see. You should fit in perfectly, since we are pretty much all about the objectives. Especially with team based games.

Cool. Maybe run some RE5 if you are on later. Its stupid the Calender on the website doesnt show your clan matches, just what the entire community has scheduled
 
How many people usually come out to play on CAG night? I just want to know how big of a game I should be expecting. If anyone wants or has the socom maps for psn sharing, please pm me. I advertised in the psn share thread, but no one seems interested.
 
I might be interested in joining. Pretty good at shooters, and used to play Socom back in the day on PS2. Just got confrontation, so let me know what I need to do.

then check the xmb or the thread game night starts at 10 but usually starts earlier

Yeah everyone already in the clan has the DLC, maybe contact a few of the people who have posted recently wanting to join the clan. Its worth $15 on its own, I bought it outside my share account & Gold bought it twice.

Just set aside an hour to install & update then give it a go. It has 6 maps from Socom 2 if you get the DLC. I sent a friend invite your way.
 
Id agree with that if this was a 60$ game but it never was it was a 40$ game and a great value maps came out for 10 so 50 for 12 maps even less now by way of gh price drop and used purchase and game share so you can get it all now for around 25 and under i dunno

I would have to agree with md here.

I would like ps3 to be free, but really, is that really going to happen?

I would say, this DLC is probably my favorite of all time. Just so much was added to the game.

I would totally join you for socom and kill zone, but already have WAW, valk and borderlands on another account. maybe we can start a socom share account and you can lower your package price to entice more people? :p I'll send you a friend request because i need practice, too. I'll try to find some practice time.

Hey smig, I noticed that you ditched kill zone. I really enjoyed KZ, what makes socom better?
 
Lol everything. Movement speed, aiming mechanics, gun recoil, weapons, map design, realistic bullet damage, Third person view, teamwork and communication, No respawn. I mean its Socom. This is the end all be all for shooters. Socom started online console play and is where the best players are at.

Killzone is a great game, but cant hold a candle to socom multiplayer.
 
Sounds exciting, I never played with my brothers ps2 and never tried any socom.

I played with rezae earlier, he already has the cold front dlc. GGs to him. Sorry, I couldn't stay longer to play. Just received 'network connection lost' during the entrapment map. Need to reset my router.

So, I'll see you guys/new guys later on tonight.
 
I'mma be on for a couple minutes now, though i'll be off soon cause of homework. I find the whole display of the DLC's kinda annoying though. Makes it harder to see a game I can join >.>

After reading through this thread, I'm thinking about picking the game up and giving it a try. I'll probably pick it up sometime this month so I'd be down for the DLC (it's $3 per person, right?).

If you want to host the gameshare I can paypal the funds otherwise I can host the gameshare if one of you guys can't.
 
create an account and buy the stuff you want to share, then sell the shares so you can play now.

Yeah, On friday i'll actually be able to play for more than 10 minutes. I feel starved for Oblivion.

Plus I find it rather sad that I just took a drink of Rootbeer and immediately got sugar high. I haven't had that much sugar in like a week O_0 :whee:
 
first tuesday night off in about 3 months and my ps3 says my game data is corrupted and i need to delete it all and reinstall?!?! SHIT

GGs everyone! Had lots of fun on the Vigilance?/Uprising? map. The knife fights were insane. Complete madness. Let's do it again next cag night.

Great picture Option. Hilarious night with the knife fights. Seems like we should have Fight Club rules. Anyone new to Knife Club, has to fight first. Also, do not talk about Knife Club. . .
 
I think I came to the realization that I am going to have to go back to playing sniper again, especially if we keep playing CF maps only. We seem to play much better when I can call stuff out to everyone else. I probably should have never switched my specialization and just went for shotgun elite while keeping the tilly around, but it doesn't take but about a weeks playing to get it back.

Yeah, unfortunately most of the maps in Cold Front are sniper oriented. When I was smg specced, I really couldn't do much but rush. But by the 2nd or 3rd round my routes were figured out, and I would get shut down fast.

There is a necessity for power and range, and I think the sniper class is the best for this, unfortunately. Simply put, we need more snipers.

Personally, I'm sticking with ARs. They're a good balance between power, range, and CQC. All the other specs I'd have to say aren't well suited for this game. Though that Gloria seems like it can snipe as well.

The front grip will help if your going for shotgun elite, otherwise I don't think its really worth it, I kind of wish I never changed.
