Hi guys (and gals if any)

I played this game when it just came out and didn't really enjoy it that much (mostly because I sucked at it), but I liked the idea. I've heard that with the patches and DLC it has become an entirely different game than originally released, so I'm thinking of giving it another go.

A couple of questions: Is the PSN version still 24 hr-locked? Do you remember of any sales on the game? I know htat the disc version can be found on 15~20 easily, but I feel this is the kind of game that needs to be installed on the hard drive

This game seems really fun. For some reason, my score isn't recording. It keeps saying error, but at least its erasing my KDR. Is this a problem that happens to the network sometimes or do i need to reinstall?

I'm having trouble getting use to the default controls, but I'll get used to it.

Are you playing respawn rooms/unranked rooms? If so, it will not record your statistics.

i need to play with the scopes as im strictly using the thermal.

I personally use the DE and Model 18. If you can learn to be patient with the DE it becomes a deadly weapon, you just have to realize you have more time to line up your shots then you think you do.

As for scopes, unless its a night map or blizzard, I stick with the medium scope, its the perfect combo, you can scan quickly with the first setting and then once you see someone you have the 8x to lineup your shot.

quick games. i never got a chance to respawn. i die once then i got to sit out.
 
It should be recording your stats asthmatic. Also you can change every button on the control setup to your liking. I started with Six Shooter then moved some things around

Sent an Invite for sure this time to AXXV1 or whatever
 
2 ladders tonight 10 and 11.

the game records all stats ranked or unranked just takes a few minutes to register in game
 
I'll play one or both ladders, but I won't be able to if they need the DLC, since I don't have one and the guy I asked hasn't responded.
 
Sorry guys, I hope you had enough members for the 11pm ladder match. I tried signing in and the game froze. Second time that happened when I was trying to enter a ladder match.

I really wish I could join in on the post game game (XD) but I keep on getting errors that say I can't properly connect to the server. Never got it before, so I assume it's the server but I dunno. Anyways, it won't let me accept your invite Mdamore, so I can't play >.>
 
Yeah, you guys weren't the only one. It didn't freeze, but I couldn't connect to the server.

We lost both clan matches due to having not enough people showing up. Socom was fucked up today.
 
Yeah, with all the crap lag and the fact that my game froze just as I started a match I decided to just quit while i'm ahead and play tomorrow instead >.>
 
What a crock of shit on Friday! That was uber lame and the weird thing is, me and Phish were in the room already then magically got signed out of PSN and could never get back in room. WTF Ill be on tonight if anyone is down to dominate some CF rooms
 
Sorry I haven't been around guys. I'll be on tonight though, actually, will probably be on for a bit in about an hour or so to get some CF practice.

When that has happened to me I found if you go into your message box and opening the message about the clan match then exit back to the main menu and when you select the custom game the clan match (or whatever the bottom choice reads) should be selectable. That has always put me back into the room. The only thing is you have to still have the message in your box.

I will be on tonight but I'm not sure about the whole dominating thing. Maybe I'll provide you with some decoy gun fire :D
 
Well, Chargers lost, so I'm in a slump. Unfortunately, won't be able to play tonight (gotta watch 24). However, I'm uploading part of the knife fighting we had last Tue. It's got some cool music and has been shortened a bit (first two rounds). I'll have to apologize for the quality, since I recorded at a low bit rate (next time I'll up the quality). Should be up and rendered during/after CAG night.

Good job beating those stupid fucks who ran away the first time, stupid system had to lock up with two rounds left :(.

I would love to get NHL 10, but I'm broke right now and GS is giving shit trade in values for MW2 (nothing new there). I have a birthday next month so I can probably get it then.

Man, Socom was all f'ed up for me last night. The messages were loading so slowly, I kept getting that network error message and I got kicked back to the title screen after losing the server connection. I tried to get back on, but I kept getting the "failed to join server" error, so I quit.
