CAG Socom Thread-SONY SHUTTING DOWN SERVERS AUGUST 31 for S1-CA Tue&Sun10pmEST

I'll be playing games again(including SOCOM with you guys) on my PS3 again now that my headset decided to work again! :)
 
Good games last night. It was great to have a big enough showing to play a few friendly matches. We even saw the return of a Lethal God.
 
Sorry about the clan match last night md. There was no way I could keep my eyes open and it didn't look like we were going to be able to get enough people to compete.

I suck really really really really badly at fighting games
. I just preordered SSFIV from Amazon, now to learn to play the fighting games I do have with my brand new SSFIV TE I also purchased
Hey I decided if I'm jumping into fighting games I might as well start with the right equipment

I told gold that one of those two would complain about the Blizzard match as soon as Esper got the first kill with the SR-25, sure enough I was right :lol:.
 
Good games everyone! Lionman such a whiner. I really wanted to tell him to STFU after but contained myself.

Md that was the greatest ending ever! I was so hype when I saw the climb wall thing pop up. I was like "Hell yeah bout to snag this, get a trophy and keep the game alive." Alas it wasnt meant to be. I dont know if that game can be topped all season. Great cam work on that HR
 
I dunno man, pulling out that sniper rifle was not cool. Not cool at all.

And come on Smog, don't say stuff like that, we're all a big Socom family. I expect you and lionman to kiss and make up next time.

Though I must say, Snoopy called you guys f'ers one game. Though he said it was all in "good fun".

One of you guys could have pm'ed me about the sr-25 usage. I would've stopped. Simple as apple pie. As official, like a referee with a whistle.
I will make up my own special rule from now on - [No more sniper rifle usage from me]. I know it's not fun getting sniped on the receiving end. It was fun while it lasted.

But yeah, we all have to make love/get in bed with each other(excluding me, because I don't want to be a part of it) or the hate is never going to stop. I'm serious!

Blizzard map (Control) 5v6
Us five - me/goldbug/md/misterb/Smog on the merc side and lionman/snoopy/dirtyharry/axv1/nighthawk/option were on the commando side.

I used the 552 the whole time I was in the merc side. We won the first three rounds and the 4th round, we lost. So, the 5th round(commando), I came equipped with an hk5 sd, we lost that round. I noticed we were losing momentum on our side. 6th round; brought out the sr-25, headed towards the left side of the map near delta control point/mountain. Saw one merc coming towards me. Took him out. Then, I saw an influx of mercs around the middle(alpha cabin). Sniped two and ended up with 3 kills. We lost that round. 7th round; I did the same thing, got a couple kills. We lost again. Last round, the match was 3-4 them; we needed to win this round to tie. Sniped on the left again and we won. Good game overall. After the match was over; lionman complained about my sniper rifle usage. I was confused and a little bit annoyed at the same time. That was it.

Plus, it's not Smog's fault; it's not anyone's fault. The one who is at fault is me. Blame me for using a cheap ass sr-25 on the last three rounds. Merc side was gaining momentum and I have to stop it. Simple as that.
or you can blame seth luisi/luigi

And I thought the Tilly was the cheapest gun in the game. I'm not that lame to use it.

Thank you option I needed that pick me up after hitting into at least 5 double plays in two games :cry:. If I could avoid the double play, I'm making the playoffs with this team.
I'm hoping md did his job against smog so that I'm not bottom of the standings...

All I heard Smog say was "Gold, You're bad at this map. No offense, but you're really bad at this one."
So I took that to heart and rattled off my two kills to go 2-7.

Looking forward to having Esper kill me with the full range of weapons tonight.
 
Is it really that big of deal guys? He didnt hear me, and I didnt say anything after. My bad. The real problem is this CAG on CAG violence has got us messed up. We need to stop playing against each other it obviously brews stuff up. Either way I wont be around tonight Im going to the Wings game.

I'm just kidding. As I said, I know I suck at pretty much all the maps. I enjoy the CAGvCAG games. They are a nice break from the random games that we have on the rest of the nights and it's always fun to run a few quick matches after we play.

I also like playing CAG vs CAG it's a good break from other matches

That's only because you're using MG's. They have the worst accuracy.
 
Yeah, that's probably a higher hit percentage than what I have with the MGs. They need to make them scarier, like higher damage. But kudos for sticking with MGs. And I hear you can snipe with the 'Gloria'.
 
my HP is 8.5 dont feel bad i emptied a ton of MG clips on helicopters and after the round and cant crawl back from that im horrible in this game but i have fun and you guys ca learn from mmy mistakes. good games last night especially when we were teaming up took us a bit to warm up but we got there

Ladder @ 10 tonight
