CAG Warhawk Night [TBD]

Good times, but too many death matches for me. I had my fill and after the 5th I bailed.

Didn't do too bad today. I got a 5 streak with the rocket launcher that ended with me taking my own life ....... with the rocket launcher. #-o

Ha, that tank shot surprised even me since I was aiming at someone else. I was a hair late so I figured it'd miss, but then suddenly you were there, so don't give me too much credit. And I needed some practice on the lightning gun, the second time I was about to die and was just trying to get the shot off, had no idea who I was shooting at.

And though I feel I'm getting better at DM, it's my least favorite, and gets boring after a while. I do like the sound of a knife-only match though, just make sure everyone's aware of it going in.

I might do the same! Except I think I'll just keep an eye on the score till half time and if it's still a game I may tune in for the second half.

That still gives me a whole hour of shoosting though! :)
 
Haven't you all heard of PiP? Don't TVs come with that anymore?

Hope to be there next match, missed the last one due to drinking beer and eating with family
 
It was really frustrating, to say the least, to play Warhawk today... I was playing as usual, until the official servers started to go haywire. I had four, yes four disconnects today! I think half the games I was in have disconnected for some odd reason, and I can't quite fathom why it's done that. Maybe the latest update had something to do with it, maybe? :whistle2:k
Is it just me, or is anyone else experiencing these problems? :cry:

I had a good amount of games today with no problems, maybe it was your internet connection.

I don't think it's my internet connection, because when I'm in the lobby and see the server that got disconnected, it says "Unavailable" right next to it. And I've never had that problem before, which is strange. I honestly don't know what's up with that. :boxing:
 
That is odd, maybe the servers are all screwy in anticipation of the new patch. Or maybe its a huge conspiracy to keep you from killing fools.

Same here. 3-4 disconnects, all from the SCEA 'blue' servers. Pretty frustrating.

Well, it looks like Operation Broken Mirror won't be free after all.

While the patch to get new weapons will still be free, you will still need to pay for the new map and new APC for $7.99, same as the Omega Dawn pack.
Though I'm not entirely surprised, I'll wait until official word of this comes out... I was under the impression that all this was going to be free...

I'm hoping they come out with a combo pack that contains both booster packs at a discount. Or, even better, release them for free later. I can't see me spending $16 on booster packs for this any game. Sometimes being a cheapass is difficult.

My only hope (outside of them being free later on) is if I can get a PSN giftcard cheap.
 
I'm more open to spending money on boosters knowing that they're adding significant improvements in 1.3 for free. Still, $8 for one map and a vehicle is a lot. Unless they do a combo pack or offer some discount, it's unlikely I'll get Broken Mirror. Besides, since I hardly play outside of clan nights and few here seem interested, it doesn't make sense to buy an add-on I' won't get much use out of.
 
I'm like metaly. I really only play clan nights, and if I do hop on official servers I'm going for a regular game as OD games are few and far between. Plus the map sucks. Hope this one is better, but the only reason I'd get it is because of the gameshare.

The map looks OK, but the layout is horrendous. And each 'base' is tiered, meaning the only real way to get around is in a hawk. It just doesn't have the balance like some of the original maps do.

Knife only for DM would be great. Haven't done that since my ActionQuake days (if anyone even knows what that game was, a cookie for you!)

Here's a real challenge... How about knife for all levels? :lol:
