CAG Warhawk Night [TBD]

The main issue may have been Zenprime's PS Eye (before speakers were turned down) overshadowed everything.

Well, we've been playing Warhawk for a long time, so oh course it may be hard to start out, but you didn't do half bad. ;) I was glad you showed up. Training mode comes in the next update. Another day I'm looking to get some of the less experienced Warhawk players together, like Krymner, you, Mak, etc.

Ah.. Didn't know that. Yeah, the ps eye could have been the problem.

I think i'll stick with it a bit longer before it gets tossed on the tradelist.. unless I figure I like it. Maybe a couple more CAG nights will sway my opinion. :cool:
 
I played Warhawk yesterday afternoon and loved it.

Unfortunately my simulation sickness didn't. However, I think I may just buy a bottle of dramamine and try to sit further away. Anybody play on Saturdays?

Got the map rotation set up. This time I did a mix of everything (well... almost... it's still too soon... -_-)

I may start it a bit early to run around and blow myself up.:cool:

I was going to make the server message something about phantom grenades, but I did something different.
 
Well... The first disconnect was something crazy... My internet didn't drop... it's like I kicked everyone or something... Strange
And that last server disconnect was my PS3 freezing.:roll: After that I figured we'd call it a night.
Maybe I should have just sent mine in to sony when the hard drive failed while it was still under warranty...

Anywho... I think I'll delete the Warhawk game files and reinstall... maybe that'll do something.

Oh... and it's a good thing my mic went out when I took down zen (in a plane) with 'nades during that CTF in King of the Hill while he was trying to prevent me from capturing the flag... I was screaming so loud.:whistle2:#:lol:

And... did anyone else see me die twice at the same time during that last game?

DD83, I've been having weird disconnects too from PSN as of late, so it may be an issue on Sony's end. And before, I was rarely if ever disconnected. I had a few weird issues since the update.

hi i would like to join jsut wondering do you know what the warhawk times are the Uk zone is so i can join one cause i can make during the am even so yeah just tell me and i will join cause im really into warhawk lately i got the omega dawn pack btw not the other one waiting for the jetpacks

We mostly have to play that time since people still get off of work and such.

For the UK add 5 hours to whatever times you see here. In this case, the next games on fri and saturday night would actually tecnically be 3am sat and sun GMT.

Fun games tonight. I made a rare visit to the official servers after the game and I think CAG nights have me spoiled because almost nobody in public games works as a team. Also they have no idea how Collection works. I saw so many single points scored back to back... to back. :wall:

Also played a bit of CTF afterward with SoCal and SuperKing and that was better, except it seems like everyone's scared to actually try capturing the flag. I love CAG CTF games because there are always a few people on each team who go straight for the other flag. That's much more exciting. :)

I use a DVD recorder and then rip it and encode it.

That's the truth.
Plus the last time I played CTF on the official servers, when someone did capture get the flag, they always took the most direct path back to their base.:roll:

Whenever I play CTF on official servers all I do is try to capture the flag and drive it out since nobody else will (assuming my team is competent enough to capture zones), and if I can get it even halfway back other people sometimes will finish the trip after I die. Problem is you get more points sitting in a turret and shooting down warhawks.

And some stage set-ups make capturing the flag really tough, for example the one that has a single bridge into each base. Even if the other team dominates the whole map, it takes a lot of stupidity to let them capture your flag.

I have noticed after the headsets issue popped up it has been almost impossible to get people to work as a team. I know my headset was busted and nobody else was talking. At least when people talk and say "I am gonna do this, cover me" I can try to help them out. But when you have a flag defended by the right guy who knows how to lock it down its impossible to go get the flag on your own, or even with two other people who are just doing random things. Plus I can easily get 75-100 points just sitting back and defending my flag on the right map. And with everybody wanting points and a high KDR - they can try to go get the flag all game and end up with little points and lots of deaths, or sit back and just kill away and get lots of points - I see why it ends up like that.
