CAG Warhawk Night [TBD]

I was wondering what was wrong last night. It was the first time I was gonna play Warhawk after a loooong hiatus and was greeted with the Connection Error message :lol:

Tried it again this morning and was able to play just fine.

I can't believe I let this game sit for so long, I love flying Warhawks! Pro Flight mode kicks ass

The servers were down so they could shift some over to Socom so it is playable. There are no excuses with the Socom launch but it happens every time with every game. I am just as mad as anyone but I get over it. Play it in the morning/afternoon and everything is fine.

Same thing kind of happened with PSN for a short time. Lots of things went down yesterday (even the PS Store). When Warhawk came out, it was a mess on PSN, but everything got fixed. If Sony wasn't trying, they'd just leave the servers as is and not try to fix something, but they are. And it's not just SOCOM coming, there's a Killzone beta, Resistance 2 beta launching, lots of stuff around the same time.

Although with SOCOM, there will be server issues since SCEA didn't want the game to be delayed anymore (It really needed a delay, but they were getting sick of delaying it for over a year), and it was going to come out even if not completely finished. That is why I'm not jumping onto SOCOM until 2 or so weeks, because I already knew what was going on and what was going to happen.
 
Some of us are online, I always see people making random matches. So here's me making one: I'll set it up and at 2:45 EST so 18 minutes from now, 6:30PM EST go to CAG clan and join. Ill have a map rotation up. Hopefully people show up =P

Btw, We'll be playing for an hour, maybe an hour and 15 depending on how many people come/want the extra game.

To mention some interesting news, in games that list my buddies in order (from when they were added on PSN), you are number 2, meaning you've been on my buddy list for the 2nd longest on PSN (and haven't been removed. :p ).

That's an interesting tidbit, I did get the PS3 near launch though ;)

What games do that? I'd be interested in knowing the order of buddies also, just for the heck of it

It was fun while I was able to stick around. Ground combat is just not my forte in this game :/

I'll be joining in more often, hopefully pick up the tricks quick enough so I won't get my ass handed to me too often D:

Not sure, but I think it's Kandall (Kendall? Ken Doll? ;))
I've seen this for the past few matches too and whomever it was even commented on their ping being craptastic. I guess it gives him an advantage against sniping, all that :bouncy: makes him hard to hit.

It's an advantage against everything... I had a hell of a time killing Zen when he was doing that.

Wow was I having an off night. I showed up late and left early... I figure the only map things were going good for me was the glacier and that was short but sweet. Good games guys
 
How in the world I was knifed by a guy running through my Bio Field with a flamethrower in his face is beyond me.

Dunno if you guys heard, but I was cussing n' shit a lot towards the end. I was getting edgy because I wanted to fly a Warhawk, I love those damn things

Oh yea, and Zenprime needs to check his mic, I had to mute him because I just heard a bunch of garble, got really annoying

I had to mute zenprime as well... but I have slow cable internet so I never know if it's my end or someone else. I was experiencing a small slice of lag last night. I'm thinking I'll have to take my internet back up a tier if I'm gonna be a regular online player.

I heard you... It's no biggy. I only get mad at teamkills if there aren't any enemies around when I'm teamkilled. I seriously lol'd at the "but I'll take your grenades" comment, especially after the last match's comment about grenades.:lol:

Also... bad news guys... I got a letter from some Islamic group complaining about using words from the Qu'ran last night.:cry:
Looks like I have to send my disc in to get it patched...

Oh, TMK, if you want you can add that boosters are required for Saturday night for the last 4 matches.
