LOL, the binocular deaths was great! I was like "WHAT THE HELL?!" :lol:
That was really good... how did you get up there? :cold:

I noticed some buzzing, but I didn't know who it was at the time since I was focusing on the others during the dogfight... I didn't want to die! :)
As of now, I still don't know what is wrong with my mic. mguiddy pointed out that it only gargles when I'm in a vehicle (and even turrets!). So whenever we have dogfights or just need to be in a vehicle in general. I need to turn the mic off... It's really annoying and I wish I knew how to get this fixed, so I can communicate with you guys on a more normal level.

can't you just use push to talk?

You have to jump onto the side of the right hangar. Go to the top of the stairs near the bio-field pickup, you should see where to go. If not, look for the ladder high up in the middle and follow the path down.

Yeah, and I so totally saw it coming too, I was gonna hop into the drivers seat and run you over, but my fingers decided they wouldn't listen.

Also in that last zones match I fired off a tow missile to kill someone, only for them to hop in a warhawk and come over and shoot at me! Good thing tow missiles can turn around.

On the way in this morning I was behind a car with DD83 in the license number. Fortunately I was all out of homing missiles or I might have caused an accident. :D

That may be a good idea, make booster only games get a different server name so people without the boosters won't get confused when they see "CAG_Clan". You could make it "DD83" so I don't have to change the server name from the default.

Also, shouldn't the time for Saturday be 11pm? I don't mind hosting at 10, but that would overlap CoD4 wouldn't it?

Yeah, I have both booster packs and I am not listed there, so I have now posted to let you know.
 
I will try to make it for a few matches this evening I have not played in a while. I have not been gaming much lately except for Mario Kart. I haven't even played GTA4 yet. Works been crazy and I just have not been in the mood. I want to try to play this on some Hot Shots.
 
Warhawk is still on today, to let everyone know again. I have the new map packs, but I think there are still some who don't have them, so I won't force them yet.

I did just mess with both maps (by myself). I really like the Glacier Map.

More than half of the clan members have the boosters 21 out of 38. And I'd say a lot of the ones that don't have it I rarely see playing.
 
Hey Mana, you should send a clan invite to threerandomwords. He's been showing up pretty regularly but doesn't post here that often. Pretty sure he's got both boosters, too.

I try to add a post with a link to the post with the list at least once a page reminding everyone that if you have the booster packs and your name isn't here, please post and let us know. There may be a few (well threerandomwords (I hereby dub him "random" from now on) for sure) that aren't in the clan yet.

I don't think you should require them tonight. If people want to play booster games they can come tomorrow...:cool:

To repeat:
Boosters at the END of the rotation, after the 6th map. I really want to play these, so I'm doing this.

Sorry to bug you at the last minute, but can you please host tonight DD83 (ONLY if you get this message by 9:55pm EST)?

The reason I ask at this short notice is because some bad weather looks to hit my area tonight, there's a chance I might have to cut off early if anything is going to happen. Sorry about the confusion everyone.

The game name will be "CAG_Clan", only difference. Still, put the booster pack maps at the end (like the last few matches).

Anyway, if you do not get this message by then, I will host 4-5 games, and I'll have you host the rest.

M'kay... it's all set. I could have used ManaKnight as the server name, hopefully people won't get lost/confused.
 
Yeah, I messed up. That full map TDM was supposed to be a Dogfight. :oops:

Yeah, and as if that wasn't bad enough, when there were just 5 of us left I kept ending up on the short-handed team. The zones match was so close, but the CTF was just brutal. :bomb: :bomb:

lol... i get shot down a lot of times when trying to wait for guys to near each other for max kills.
 
I ended up getting some Thunder, which caused me to get out yesterday; however, I ended up falling asleep due to being tired and didn't get up until way later, so I missed the booster packs. :whistle2:( I'm going to have a game sometime next week with them, because I REALLY want to try them.

That zones was crazy... I thought we had it up until the match over screen. I swear it was the last or second to last point update that made us lose.:lol:

LOL - I was happy because I got to take him out with one durnig one of the later matches :bouncy:. But I was watching the map juuust before you cut the server off and I saw him sittng there waiting for you and them the kill log pops up and then *boom* there goes the server hahaha.

But it was good times dsspite the low turnout.

After the game I went and played GTA4 for the *first time* and about 5 minutes into my first game somebody sent me a multiplayer invite.... I had no idea how to accept it and I really had no idea what I was doing. I assume it was one of you (thats why I am posting this here), so I am sorry I did not accept the request. I was like WTF.. how do I get to the phone thing? But now I know how, and have at least some gameplay under my belt.

Yeah... I had enough point blank TOWs for forever... err one night. Though I did feel a bit like the kid who loses then takes his toys and goes home. :oops: But I didn't care. :twisted:

I read about people complaining about that on the official forum, but never experienced it until last night. Honestly, I wouldn't be upset if they "nerfed" the TOW so it had to fly a certain distance to be armed, otherwise it would just thud and disappear. It's like having instant binoculars and a speedy getaway vehicle. And to DaNaD... if you're going to keep doing that... remember that friendly fire is ON on the clan servers. So PBTOWing the group of enemies trying to kill the flag carrier is (maybe) not a good thing. :lol:

My new goal is to kill someone in a plane with the cluster bomb... if it's even possible.

And I'm this *touches fingers together* close to getting GTAIV... I just know as soon as I buy it it'll go on sale somewhere really cheap. But then I remember all the issues people are having...
 
Sorry I didn't show, I have the flu and have been sleeping a lot. I can't really use the PS3 since it's in my unfinished and oh-so-cold basement. :cry:

I'm dying to try the map packs since I bought them!

The cluster bombs seem so awesome in theory, but I've dropped them countless times right on people's heads, and I think I've gotten one lifetime kill. In fact, I can only remember being killed by them once or twice. They could definitely use some delicate tweaking in the next patch.

And that TOW missile minimum range thing sounds like a good idea. Reminds me of the early Battlefield 2 days where people would hop and shoot their grenade launchers at the floor like they were playing Quake 3 or something. :whistle2:#

I don't think I've ever killed someone with the cluster bomb... I can never get them to go where I want them to.

I remember doing rocket jumps in Quake... Those were the days... Paid probably $50 for the unlock code (I bought the shareware CD at KMart and had to call to get the full version) and played it to death. I remember buying a gaming mag just to get a CD that had CTF and bots on it.
