Good game.

Pryor couldn't throw passes the receivers could hold on to so my offense could be more effective outside of the running game. At least I know now that my freshman kicker has more range than his kicks in the last two rainy games led on.
 
Good game to you too. My defense sure put up a hell of an effort that game. Its the biggest difference for me when comparing it to using the Browns in Madden.

This was another big week as the SEC continues to dominate the top of the Top 25 as it now stands with Texas at #1, Georgia Tech at #2, and Florida at #3 after their big wins last week. Mississippi State makes an appearance at #25 this week as Tennessee drops out of the Top 25 altogether.

The Heisman Watch sees a bit more variety as Sherrod Harris jumped to the 2nd spot by pushing his receiver, Malcolm Williams, down to the 3rd spot. Greg McElroy, QB at Alabama, is new to the list at the 4th spot along with Georgia Tech's Jason Peters, the only defensive player on the list.

The SEC Offensive Player of the Week is Michigan State's Ashton Legget, who has a big game against Tennessee while Georgia Tech's Kyle Jackson earned SEC Defensive Player of the Week honors.

A big clash in Florida will happen this week as #6 South Florida tries to squeak into the title game picture with a win over #3 Florida. #17 Ohio State gets a chance at making up for their loss last week as they visit #11 LSU in an attempt to get close to the top 10 again. #24 USC hosts #1 Texas in an attempt to prove they deserve to stay in the Top 25. The two newest Heisman candidates get a chance to prove their worth as #2 Georgia Tech takes on #12 Alabama. #5 Oklahoma and #16 Ole Miss face off to see who can get back on a winning groove this week. #23 NC State and #9 North Carolina face off to see who gets bragging rights and will stay unbeaten.

I'd just like to point out to everyone I lost to BigAt 28-14, so I have no idea why I was credited with a 32-28 win. I've messaged Frisky but unfortunately I don't think he can do anything. I hope I'm wrong.
 
Well, this kind of sucks. Like Franky said, we played our game last night and I won 28-14. I've never seen anything like this happen before. The only thing I can think of is that somehow it didn't record our game and then it simmed it when Frisky advanced it. The thing is, I remember it recording the game because after we were finished I left the game to make sure that I was set ready to advance.

At this point though, there's nothing to do but move past it. Franky is not at fault in the least and I'm virtually positive there's nothing Frisky can do about it. The loss only dropped me to #8 in the polls, and there is plenty of time left in the season. I think if I win out I should be able to work my way back into the National Championship picture.

Bingo. I believe when I checked on the easportsworld site to make sure everybody had played that your score wasn't recorded properly and it took the conflicting results and resolved them by simming the game. I don't know if you got the dynasty server error at some point that caused the conflict or what, but it's out of my hands now. Though when I checked afterwards, it said SeanAmI had already played his game this week with a 0-0 Loss, so it's not very reliable either.

This just seems like a textbook case of just being careful and making sure everything's recorded properly before you exiting the dynasty.
 
Hey seen when are you normally on? I've been in and out of the hospital the last several days visiting a sick family member. If you give me a time frame in which I can best get a hold of you that'd help me out a lot.

Great game Matt! The Bulls pulled out a squeaker 24-21 due to a last minute FG. The game came down to my power option running game due to my qb being rattled in the swamp. Your offense/defense had me loopy the entire game hehe. Good luck the rest of the season dude!
 
I got the email that my 360 is on its way back so i should have it no later then Friday. So I plan on playing this weeks game so don't sim it unless I will be holding back the league.
 
Well I'm in my game with Seen right now and he just keeps taking delay of game penalties and for some reason it's not booting him. I'm up 60-21 in the third quarter and not sure what would happen if I quit. Anyone have any ideas? He also needs to be booted after this.

EDIT: I just went ahead and quit, since he can't beat the computer I'm fairly certain a 39 point comeback is not in his future. If the game still needs to be played I really hope this dude is gone and I can just knock it out against the computer. If he's not dropped I'll probably leave or at least just have the game simulated, this was utterly ridiculous.

Stop being a baby and finish your games. If you can't handle the tough competition get out. Everyone I've played in this league knows I've never run up the score. The guy who had USC last year just took turns with me in the entire fourth quarter running out the clock. Don't whine because you are the equivalent to playing the computer on easy.
 
I guess cheesing, procrastinating and making rude comments is what this league is built on nice!

....Before I even played this game I got some less then polite pm's from Franky so consider it karma. Oh and you didn't run the ball, you'd play the spread and do some gay madden 09 cheese roll-outs then pass. And if you call a shotgun play then optioning; thats not running the ball...Also it gets annoying to play defense against someone who keeps abusing the glitched hot-routes.

Didn't do ONE hot route, but I guess I'll take that as a compliment. Look at Texas's playbook it is DOMINATE shotgun, nobody here has ever had a problem with me. That's all I'm going to say about that. I'm sorry we couldn't finish our game and that you couldn't be more mature about the situation. The comments had nothing to do with this game but you utter rudeness towards me and the league. Don't call someone out if you're not prepared to back it up. Good luck the rest of the year. I've played Franky and hes been nothing but nice and I had no problem playing his Texas offense. I haven't played you, and you have been nothing but rude and now you cheesed Franky out of a possible win by taking infinite delay of games. You have displayed a level of immaturity that is ridiculous, grow up. I've played people I didn't like before and I never tried to cheat them out a win. For the record, I have read the Madden League thread, nate and you both came off as whining and it was one of the reasons I did not join that league.

How does this chump keep getting into CAG leagues? He is such an over the top ass that he should be banned from all CAG leagues...that "throwing a tantrum and making people sit in games for 15 min," is complete crap.

Let me guess Franky, you played a legit game and came to the slow realization that its next to impossible NOT to score on him.

I want to say more but I wont...I just want to give Franky some backing because Seen did this exact same thing when I played him in Azu's league. He threw like 9 INT and couldnt figure out how to stop HB dive left (A play I ran 19 times in a row) then cried for 5 pages that I was going out of my way to run up the score.

Once again, sorry to take up space I just wanted to give Franky (not that he needs it...always been legit) some backing.
 
Wow. That was probably the best game I have ever played as I somehow dug myself out of a massive 21-0 hole from the first quarter to win, I think, 32-28 with a lucky fumble and big run by Pryor into the endzone with ~15 seconds left to put us ahead. It would've been a close defeat if not for that fumble. You played well, DarkTower.

Despite the bad start for me, that was a much more enjoyable game than the lag-filled first try, which resulted in me missing an extra point and both of us being unable to kick past the opposing 40 yard line on kickoffs.
 
Yeah the lag on the first one sucked. I couldn't figure out why you kicked it short to start the game and then I tried to kick off and did the same thing.

I just hate the fumble, if I had tried a toss or the option fine, but a fumble with 40 sec left on a HB dive pisses me off. Even so, you made a great comeback Frisky. Congrats and great game.

It's another big week in the chase for the BCS National Championship Game and Florida's been knocked from their #3 spot by South Florida to replace them in that spot, though they also made a huge leap to #1 in the Media Polls as a result. That should make for an interesting BCS picture when the BCS rankings are released in a few weeks. Ohio State moved up to #13 after an amazing come-from-behind victory over LSU, who dropped to #15 after that game. Losers of the week are Oregon and USC, who dropped out of the Top 25 this week due to losses to Arizona State and Texas, respectively. #22 Nebraska and #23 Oregon State are the new additions to the Top 25.

The Heisman Watch has also been shaken up as Texas' Sherrod Harris now stands at the top spot as Rutgers' Kordell Young fell to #2. Georgia Tech's powerful DE Jason Peters jumped to the #3 spot to push Malcolm Williams of Texas down to #4. New to the list is Kendall Williams, WR from Baylor, which adds to the Texas domination of the list.

Winning both National and SEC Offensive Player of the Week is Rutgers' Kordell Young, who had a huge game with over 200 yards rushing and five touchdowns.

This is a bit of an off week for the SEC as there is only one huge game, which gives #9 Florida a chance to knock #1 Texas out of the title picture. #13 Ohio State and #3 South Florida get a week to rest after their big wins last week. #12 Utah visits #2 Georgia Tech in another big national game. Also I'd like to say I'm taking Harris off the depth chart and replacing him with either Gilbert FR(RS) or the top rated QB recruit from last year Gaston and switching my offense to something more like a Baltimore Ravens team and playing some pro style ball. It seemed like I had a lot more success against BigAt running this type of offense and that's the guy I need to beat. Can't wait for the big game this week, seems like they just keep coming!
 
If anyone logs into the Franchise today, please make sure that my game got counted this week. There were some problems reporting it initially and I had to retry. After the debacle with Franky, I want to be sure.

Ok I should be on later tonight so I'll check for you. Really the only time I can do it is tomorrow at about 10 or 11 est time, otherwise we're probably looking at the beginning of the week.
 
Well the Florida Texas game is in the books.

The experienced Texas defense sure came to play today causing seven turnovers and allowing just under 200 yards on offense. Some of the turnovers were a little ridiculous, it seems Matt would just get the ball back and bam fumble, there was one on the sideline that was very unlucky.

Gaston the true Freshman made his debut at QB in the new offense going 8-11 with 1 TD and no picks and managed a team that committed no turnovers. Johnson carried the load for the offense with 30 carries and 150 yards leading the Longhorns to a 37-7 victory.

Yeah good game. How do you fair catch in this game? Is it Y like Madden? That fumble on the punt really killed my momentum and I just made it worse after that having to lob up deep passes up. I didn't realize I had that many turnovers, I knew it was a lot but man, terrible.
