It's not very batman? If he is only batman for 2 years at the time, then he has a bad day and looses a chic, he freaks out and takes 8 years to gather himself, how is that not very batman? The other times as you claim he took a break, he's been batman for many many years. We are seeing the infant batman and how he used to deal with things before he mastered his emotions.

Imagine becoming this amazing crime stopping detective with infinite amount of money coming from the background he came from. He's enjoyed getting exactly what he has wanted his entire life, then is shocked when things don't go his way, he had an emotional break down. The greatness that will become the batman, was born when he put the suit back on after his 8 years of grief over having to accept he does not have absolute control over his life and those around him.

I've read that some people have reinterpreted the word 'acorn' as 'eggcorn' but I'd never heard it in the wild until this week's CAGcast when Cheapy said it in reference the PvZ toy he got for his son. At least that's what it sounded like to me. Cheapy, can you confirm?

Love the movie analysis at the beginning. I hated Bane's voice too. I could not understand a word he was saying half the time and was actually wishing for subtitles.

Thanks for the heads up on the big picture mode Cheapy. Looks great on my TV and it's a whole lot easier navigating with the controller from my couch than it is to use a mouse and keyboard.
 
This is less a comment on the show and more a possible show topic for the "Watch This Bitches" section. Cheapy, have you watched the show 'The Killing'? The reason I bring it up is—aside from it being a pretty good show, Joel Kinnaman, one of the show's stars is going to be playing Robocop in the upcoming reboot. The show is available on Netflix Streaming, so you should peep it.
 
I cringe when I spend over $10 on a meal... but I guess if you're going to eat raw fish, you should pay for someone to do it right. i guess. lol.

NHL 13 is pretty awesome so far, I'm going to enjoy not playing any of the other games that I have purchased while playing hundreds of hours of NHL 13 this year. I've been tempted to message cheapy to talk hockey before but i know he watches gamecenter on delay sometimes and don't ever want to spoil any games he hasn't seen yet.

I'd be interested in a Walking Dead code if they are for ps3 or pc.

It was funny hearing cheapy say we have a lot of codes then Wombat says we have like 3. Eventually there was like 7 or something. LOL

For some reason I was immediately drawn back to the other recent episode when wombat was reading and said we received alot of complaints. Cheapy asked how many complaints did we get and Wombat said like four and cheapy railed against him because 4 is not a lot. LOL

On another note. I agree with cheapy on running the pc to the tv. On my tv for some reason the games pop out. It blows the monitor away. Games have more room to breath on a nice 40 inch plus display.

The whole 45 minutes rush to eat pricey sushi sorta kills the whole Jiro restaurant for me. That sounds ridiculous. For that much money they should be organizing their schedule around their customers.

Omakase is meant to be enjoyed as slow as possible. Go out for a smoke, drink some sake and have great sushi. My favorite is seabream, cherry salmon and ophonsino. Yum. Don't ask for soy sauce if they don't have it, it means the chef already added it or it doesn't need it.

I would like a chance to play the walking dead. Steam code please
 
8 years in and Batman was still limping says to me that whatever unseen scrap he was in royally fucked him up at the time and put him out of commission for quite awhile. Probably at the time he was better there wasn't the medical tech to brace his leg. His loss of Rachel, his failure to save Harvey, and his inability to be Batman (due to the injury) is what caused him to become a depressed recluse. By the time the tech finally came out he hadn't been Batman in so long and crime was down that he didn't feel he was needed/worthy to do it.

8 years is probably also to help the
Talia timeline line up. If only a couple of years passed between Batman Killing Ras Al Ghul and the Dark Knight Rises, Talia would of likely been by her Father's side in Batman Begins.
. Not to mention it helps sell the idea of the real world plausibility of the Bat-UFO.

I didn't mind the voice performance of Bane, what I HATED was the burdensome amount of digital distortion they added which made it extremely difficult to under what he was saying.
