It may seem strict, but I just can't support the idea of "Hmm...if I only carry the minimum requirement for each position, I can spend more money on big name free agents." Just one of those things we have to guard against.
 
im ready to see where FAs all go. it will be fun to see where Revis ends up with 9 teams making a go at him. That guy will for sure make any team alot better. hope hes not on my schedule. The draft should be very interesting. when i was scouting i saw quite a few guyes that would be game changers instantly.

Fingers Crossed revis doesnt land in Denver sorry Dark Rider but thoughs broncos are already stacked enough
 
On the offhand chance I land all my FA targets, I'm really going to pay for it when my starters get tired and need subbed out. I'll be scraping the bottom of the barrel for some backups.

Actually, now that I think about it, the draft should fill out most of my roster.

lol thats insane man. but u have the cap space thats for sure. and alot of talent on that roster. i was looking at ur QB and u have built him up quite a bit as well im sure that took some work.

remember the official league though DR the highest bid doesnt always win. a few guyes took less money to play for certain teams.

if chiefs are taken i'll take STL

im an avid sports fan, avid seahawks fan, i'm competitive guy but i'm also all about good sportsmanship. i've always tried to get in these online leagues but it never works out, although i've never seen a message board i visit with their own league for their community so this really excites me. i'd love to get in!

my availability is usually 2pm-2am everyday except most Fridays and Saturdays. gmertag is to the left, same as username

Awesome! I think I recognize you from the XBLA Sales thread. The Chiefs are in pretty good shape, much better than the Rams. However, that does mean that you have to face me twice a year since I am the Broncos. :D

I am sure Nate will get you an invite when he gets a chance!

Hey, man. Yeah, the Chiefs are still open and we'd be happy to have you. I'll send you an invite this afternoon. We're going to be advancing tonight. The advance will probably be around 10 PM EST, so hopefully you can accept your invite before then. If you don't, the CPU will have already made moves for you (though, I'm pretty sure the only thing left is scouting before the draft).

Yes, technically you can even do trades during the draft, but that would be too difficult to moderate so we don't do that. Most likely there will be a deadline on draft day.

Now that we all got the PM about the draft, what are most of you guys feeling is the best time? I'm asking because I'm trying to get an idea if I go out of town any time this weekend that I won't be missing the draft. I voted Sunday because I can get back in by then.

Honestly, I thought about it...but I guess I just didn't figure people do much for Easter other than maybe Church and a dinner. Plus, it's still been cold as fuck here, which at least in my opinion...kills that spring feeling that Easter usually brings.

All right, guys. Lets not discuss it in here (it kind of defeats the purpose of having an organized vote). If I see that most people are not available for hardly any of the days, we'll adjust. I wouldn't even mind pushing it back to Monday (though the times would be much more restrictive, I'm sure). Obviously, I'd just prefer to not push it back an entire week.

My cat's birthday is on Easter. Not only is she turning 11, but she was born on Easter 2002, so it's twice as special. I swear to you, all that is true, and I'm still going to make the draft if it's on Sunday.
