It did. I made sure I had my Claiborne offer removed before we advanced just in case.

Anyway, that is my preference. I hate playing the preseason games and will probably just throw myself on auto if that is acceptable.
 
I'll probably wanna play one preseason game to get some of the rust out and try out new guys but I wouldn't mind Simming after that. We'll probably have an organized FA the first week of preseason anyway
 
Also, I'm looking to move the 10th pick in the draft. Either trading into the top 5 or trading down to pick 20 or so, also willing to move just about the entire roster so hit me up if you're interested in players (yes, this includes Ray Rice who has a pretty cheap cap hit for his skill)
 
In the official league they were doing 1 or 2 day advances so you could play if you wanted but you wouldn't have to wait too long if you didn't.

Yes, we we definitely have a round of draft style free agency after the draft. The reason being, it seems pretty apparent that there are going to be quite a few big name players who don't offered contracts in the offseason (since they're looking for 2-3 year deals at $10M+ a year.

Though, as we saw last season, once it switches to them only asking for 1 year deals, the dollar amount goes way down. So, we're definitely not going to allow one person to swoop in and snatch up all those players.

Yeah, I think 1 day (with injuries off) is reasonable. With several people not having any interest in the preseason, a lot of those games are probably going to be vs CPU anyway. Of course, people will still be expected to allow the game to make substitutions as normal...with the only positions you can swap back out being the kicker and punter. Other rules for playing against the CPU would apply as well.

49er's reason- i do not need such a good third receiver so down grading to burleson and getting the two draft picks i am able to have a little more wiggle room in the draft. also the burleson's cap hit is very low and allows me flexibility.

Lions reason - Need an upgrade in my WR situation, looking to run a different offense next year. I also will likely miss the draft and want to make sure my picks get me an impact player rather than being wasted if the CPU picks. also with the small free agent pool i am not likely to pick up a good 3rd receiver.[/QUOTE]

Trade Rejected

After seeing the info that was missing in the initial proposal, the committee didn't think this was enough for Moss...who is slightly older, but has vastly better numbers. The 3rd round pick was unimpressive as well, since it's essentially a 4th round pick.

Just wanted to let you guys know I'm going to be gone Wednesday April 3 to Wednesday April 10. I'm thinking we'll get the draft done before then by the look of things, but I may have to miss some preseason games or Week 1 or something.

my first name is devon and my high school baseball coach gave me the nickname becuz one i was a pitcher and yes he always told me to whip it dvo. plus its pretty much a shorten version of my actual name like must nicknames. and well im sure u can see where the number 21 came from as well.
