what position will be drafted with 1st overall pick in the draft tomorrow
Don't know. I'm working out trades for it.

i'm just ready to play at this point even if it is only the preseason which i would like to play so i can get use to my team again and see how the new players workout that ive added... i sent in my last trade of the season early this after noon and if it gets passed and the draft goes well for me i think i will have a pretty solid team built and considering the cap space i had.

So it looks like the Colts owner is out of town this weekend. I messaged him Friday night about our trade being approved and haven't heard back. I would still like to move Doug Martin if anyone wants him. It doesn't look like the Colts owner is gonna be able to approve our trade.

Cowboys, I got your message saying you completed our trade. It still says "Trade Pending" for me in game.

Derron Hardy is a "decent" pick? I take offense to that. He is a superstar development wide receiver who went from a 72 OVR to a 77 OVR. He has mid 80s catching stats and 94 SPD. He was a huge part of my offense last year and racked up over 500+ yards. Also was #4 in the OROY running for the AFC.

I just went to the EA website and our trade isn't on my actions list. It must be accepted.

I got a fever...

And the only prescription...

Is more cowbell.
If he has access to a computer he could still put the trade thru
I hope he does, but it doesn't seem like he will considering he hasn't responded to my messages I sent on Friday and must not realize he has to confirm trades.

Note that these grades are my personal opinion based on things that you may not consider. I didn't take into account whether they were Superstar Dev, what their stats were, or what their ratings were at the end of the season. I really only cared about what I would look for personally with a particular pick. I was going to just post OVR, but that seemed pointless considering schemes and I wasn't going to take the time to post individual attributes, especially since I really don't care what their attributes were at the end of the season. I was looking for impact picks from the start of the season because a full season of XP can really improve a player, but we only have 1 season left and I made this list to see what kind of players might be available at certain picks in the draft today. Also note that I came up with these grades at around 2AM, so I wouldn't be surprised if there were a few inconsistencies in my personal grades. Whether a pick is good or bad is really a matter of opinion on a lot of these guys anyway.

I removed my grades because they were really for my benefit only. I only posted the list because other people helped me fill it out, so I thought they might want to see it.

Alright. I will check it out on my Xbox later. Maybe if you submit the trade and I approve it, then it might show up on my screen. Anyone have experience with this? I know some features on the website can be screwed up.

If anyone wants to try for a deadline deal, I would like to move into the top 10 or so picks. This is what I have to offer....

G Marshall Yanda - 91 OVR
SS Bernard Pollard - 85 OVR
WR Vincent Jackson - 92 OVR
Draft picks - 23rd OVR and multiple 2nd round picks.

I've got a 2nd round and two 3rd rounders that I'd be willing to package to move up in the draft. If anyone wants to move back for extra picks let me know. Not that I expect anyone to want to move backwards in the draft.
Will trades accepted now not go through until the week is advanced, or do both owners need to be on at the same time?
My trade with the Jaguars already went through without advancement, but my trade with the Cowboys is still pending. I'm hoping it shows as accepted after we advance, but I have no idea.
Just tried it with both of us online, still didn't go through.
You may have to wait until advancement.

my deal with the Cowboys didnt go through either despite both of us being online and trying through the website as well. If we cant get it through before the draft we may have to resubmit a newer version afterwards.
Just tried it with both of us online, still didn't go through.
Does it say approved and you just don't have the player/picks, or does it say pending?

Are we advancing right at 7 PM, or could we advance a bit earlier to maybe sort some of this out?
It just says pending.
Well that makes me feel better about my trade that is still pending. I think it will sort itself out once we advance. Not sure why my Jaguars trade went through without advancement though.

Pretty sure pending means that one person hasn't accepted it yet. All my trades have been processed as soon as both parties hit accept.

Weird, because I accepted the trades, and nothing happened.
Why am I drafting last?
That was last years draft, when the Dolphins had just won the Super Bowl

Colin Kaepernick QB - 26 years old - 75 ovr
1 year left /4 year contract/ 2.8 Mil total salary / 0 bonus
92 TPW, 82 SPass, 80 Mpass, 76 Dpass

Chiefs Get:
Cowboys 1st round pick (#5 overall)

Cowboys 4th round pick (#5 of the round)

Mackenzy Bernadeau G - 28 years old - 75 ovr
2 year left /4 year contract/ 12 Mil total salary / 4 M bonus
78 PBK, 78 RBK, 80 IBK, 98 STR, 98 TGH, 93 INJ

The Cowboys receive two starting caliber G and a QB that they were looking for in the draft. The Chiefs get a G that fits their style better than alot of the guys they have now. Bernadeau with start in the Zone blocking scheme for them. They also get the #5 pick overall and a early 4th round pick to get guys to fit his scheme.

He actually initiated this trade with me. If you guys think it's too lopsided we can do my 3rd rounder instead of the 4th. I'm just trying to get rid of as many draft picks as I can because I can't make the draft.
Trade Approved...but only with the 3rd rounder instead of the 4th rounder. We're aware that this is the trade that you guys screwed up, and it will probably be already put through when we advance. It's on the two of you to fix it or undo it entirely. I've got enough messes to deal with.

A fair warning on these trade submissions, the proper formatting for submitting a trade is clearly visible in the OP. If you can't follow the correct format, your trade is going to be rejected. The committee has been getting 5-10 proposals a day to review. I don't have time to be PM'ing people back and forth to tell them "You forgot to include ____".

Clearly, I sound like a dick saying this, but it doesn't matter. You've got one thing to keep track of. If you can't follow directions and include all required information when submitting a trade, you shouldn't be trading. If people are going to have the expectation of trades being reviewed in a timely fashion and things being handled "professionally", as though this is a job, then it's only fair to expect that of everyone else. Being a retarded fuck up wouldn't fly at your job...and it's not going to fly in here.

For anyone who has a beef with trade review times, we received the Bucs/Redskins trade at 2:36, and here's the result 17 minutes later, even on a day as busy as today.

The bigger thing people need to understand is not all trades are created equal. The thought of "but I submitted my trade before that one" doesn't apply once you also factor in that you're trading a 90+ player, 2 80s players, the #1 draft pick, etc.

The more complicated and, I'm sorry, ridiculous, the trade is...the longer it's going to take for us to figure out what the hell to do with the damn thing. Seriously, some of the proposals last night, I just sat there staring at the screen like "what the fuck is this???" lol. It just becomes sensory overload at some point.
I thought the deadline was 2 PM?
They got lucky then. I got on and just forwarded this last batch of trade proposals at the same time. I happened to get my daughter down for her nap at 2:00, so you'll have to forgive me for being 30 minutes late.

Well, yeah, but even the more complicated trades are somewhat easier to digest WHEN THEY'RE SUBMITTED IN THE CORRECT FORMAT. ;)

Chargers wanted to fill the team, and grab a speedy back to run with Ryan Mathews. Also, it fills a hole in offensive line.

Trade Rejected

Same situation as the Chargers / Bucs proposal before it. Too much coming back from the Lions...even for the number one pick. This ends the idea of these picks being traded. Sorry, guys. This one was unanimous.

No complaints from me. I tried to make my proposals as simple as possible. I do see how people would want a quick response the last couple days with only so much time to get deals done and the deadline was rapidly approaching with little time to redo a deal. It's something you have to expect around this time though. Finding a trade partner for players you don't want is easier now than it will be in preseason because we have picks to include in deals.

I hadn't voted on that one yet. Thank god you guys got enough votes without me. I was sitting there staring at it going "there's so many ducking parts. I don't think they could do this in one trade".

Edit: I have to love my innocent minded autocorrect. I didn't mean ducking.

Also, weird question but where I DVO? This is his time.

thanks for the quick response guys. Sorry it was submitted so close to the deadline (I think it was 1:59 on my clock when I hit send pm).

I was wondering where DVO was too haha, we had been in talks as well but just wasnt meant to be. Ah well.
