i was just saying For the trade to take place in time for week one it would have to take place before we proceed to the regular season. Thats why i was asking for the trade in week 3 or week 4.

Hammurabi, in my personal opinion you should try and work it out with the Cardinals. Last year I took over the Titans a few games into the season. They were not built to my strengths at the time. What ended up happening, is through a few smart moves (Traded for Eli Manning), I built a team that did play more to my strengths and I adapted to their play, which lead to me becoming a drastically better Madden player.

If you desperately want to drop them, then I suppose we can work something out, but I think you should at least give the Cards a chance.

Click on "My Team"

Find the player you want to cut

Click on him to flip the card over

Click "View Profile"

Use the drop down box in the top right corner to select "Release Player"

I'm going to give you an hour, then I'm advancing us. I know you were aware of the deadline.

Yeah, that's plenty, lol. The cut for this week was down to 65. It shows it on the right side of the screen when you're in game looking at your tasks. It will say "XX/65". I only had to cut 3 guys this time.
 
I unfortunately will not be able to play this weekend (eagles) so if the commish wouldnt mind setting me to sim, i'll be able to play the first regular season game though
 
Ok, we have advanced to Week 3 of the preseason! This week, rosters have to be cut down to 59 players, so make sure you get that done. For anybody who was on auto pilot last week, I put you back on auto pilot this week (also added scrub0bk). If you want to be taken off auto pilot, just let me know. And don't forget to do your team practice!

The deadline is 9/22!

What time are you advancing so Aftershock and i have an idea of when we should try to get our game in?
 
I also put Dansby, Bush and Wake on the trade block just to try and gauge everyone's interest in them. So far only draft picks have been offered and just so everyone knows, that won't get any of them from me. I would like players in return, specifically OL, CB, and a receiving TE.

I usually use the Eagles playbook with a lot of read option mixed in. For my scheme to work I'd need to sign a lot more than one free agent ;)

You can use a different playbook without changing your scheme (honestly, CCM screws up everybody's "scheme" anyway...as it says "West Coast Offense" and "Spread Defense" for everyone). But yeah..if you're wanting to run a spread all the time, I don't know how much success you'd have. There's really not that many teams that run it...though I get why you were wondering about the Raiders now.

I'll probably advance us to preseason week 4 on Sunday morning. I like doing it the following morning just because it makes it easier on me for when we advance during the week when I'm not able to stay up as late.

Oh lovely, wasn't aware of that. Yeah, Eagles and Raiders work out of the gate, that's basically it. I can convert to it, but it'll take time... and I'll need to overhaul the offensive lineup. One Free Agent per team for the first season is gonna be rough :cry:

There's also trading...and you've definitely got some valuable pieces. Just gotta get that mad scientist thing going and start piecing together what you want your team to look like.
 
My opponent told me he wasn't going to play but didn't put himself on simulate..didn't know what was going on at first and then I put myself on simulate and I can't undo it...I don't care too much about the preseason games though so it's fine.

Hey as far as my schedule goes I'm on CST. I'm usually available whenever.
Monday- 2 pm to 5:30pm
Tuesday- Whenever
Wednesday- 2 pm- 2 a.m.
Thursday- 11 am till 6pm then 9:30 to 2 a.m.
Friday- Whenever
Weekends- Whenever

Once the Jets and Patriots have made their final cuts, we can look at that Brady/Hernandez for Revis/Sanchez trade again. So, the quicker you guys can get that done, the more beneficial it is to you.

The deadline for preseason week 4 is 9/24 (meaning the regular season starts on 9/25...where we'll move to a 4 day deadline...putting the Week 1 deadline at 9/28). I know people have been approaching their preseason games very casually, but once the regular season starts, I hope that changes. Contacting your opponent and scheduling your games is going to be expected of everyone.
 
N8, when you get a chance can you put Blade3D on simulate so I can play the Ai. He told me he wasn't going to play his pre-season games but didn't put himself on simulate.

Ok, I'll get on and do that now. I'll really be glad to be done with preseason and for people to be more pro-active about playing their games. Although...if EA had actually just made the website useful, taking people off/on auto pilot wouldn't have been a big deal at all.

WTF??? what happened to our trade? That's a little fucked up of you. The last PM I got from you, you're asking if I cleared space yet. Not a single word of cancelling our trade. I've been getting XP for my backup WR's.. otherwise I would have passed to Stephen Hill A LOT more in the preseason.
