Sorry, it's taking a little longer since the two parties involved are both on the trade committee. And with Chetty leaving the league, I had to find a replacement. Dark Rider is now on the committee as well. We also have a couple opinions on the trade, so I'm waiting on all results to come back.

Doomane is going to be busy over the next few days with it being finals week for him so the game has been schedule for Tuesday around 5pm est.

I've gotten some trade offers, but I'll have to wait to actually get possession of the team to look at the roster and see what I wanna do. Do you guys usually give a few days for offseason stuff before starting another year?

Yes. It should be broken down into several stages.

Resign Players
Sign Free Agents (Over a period of (3?) weeks I believe. Listed as five, I think it only does three.)
Rookie Draft (You up till that advance to scout players. Once we have advanced to draft week, you will be unable to scout, view rookies, or set up a draft board.)
Rookie Signings
Preseason

It'll probably be a couple weeks before we're done with offseason. For example, plans were to have the draft sometime in the week before Christmas. If you haven't yet I'd recommend going through an offseason in an offline career so you know what to expect. It's much different from the Madden 12 offseason.

Not an obsession, but now we have two new owners, we've reopened trades and the offseason will likely commence Wednesday-ish. Why not get them installed now if we can? Otherwise we're asking new people to hit the ground running with the resigning of free agents, etc.

Since this is our first approved trade, I just want to remind everyone that per our "re-trading policy" all players involved in trades must be on their new teams for at least 6 weeks (so, in this case, Week 3 of the regular season...4 preseason weeks + 2 regular season weeks). This policy was created as a way to make sure that people have put thought into their acquisitions before making them.

now its time for the offseason to sign the guys i need to keep with my team with about 18 million left in cap space should be able to sign the main guys i need to sign

just making sure but once offseason hits FA is completely open correct free to sign whoever and dont have to post it up?
