Does anybody know Lexxon | Gumbill. I have him added as a friend on XBL, but he has yet to respond to a CAG PM I sent Friday. I also sent him a message on Xbox live, giving him a day/time to play but hasn't responded. And I can see he's been online since I sent the message
 
bengals get the victory over the giants

giants were looking to win this game going into the fourth with a 10 point lead. But andy dalton found aj green in the endzone on a long pass. bengals now down by 3 kick the ball long with 3 minutes left on the clock. and the giants turn it over on downs and punt it.arian foster takes the ball and has a crazy long run breaking tackles left and right cutting between the blockers and its a touchdown bengals now up by 4. bengals kick the ball and afterwards eli throw a pick. foster run the ball and giants start using time outs and foster takes it into his endzone to ensure the lead holds up.

GG jza i thought i was done for i got lucky as hell at the end
 
Sigh good game. I love the giants but I hate them in madden. I have two defensive ends rated over 90 and they've generated maybe five sacks between them.

I've heard people say that re-blitzing your d-linemen can help. You just gotta be fast as hell to get all your pre-snap shortcuts in. Between adjusting my d-line, LB's, individual player adjustments, etc. there's usually not enough time to switch back to the guy I actually want to control. Usually every play is just a flurry of button presses before the snap for me, lol.
 
Chargers hold off the Bucs 14-7. Rainy game and both of us couldn't get our offense going. Turnovers ended up winning it for me. He stopped me on my first drive but fumbled when I punted and I got the ball back and was able to score. Quentin Jammer got a pick later and ran it back for six. Other then that, it was an unspectacular day offense wise for me. At least I had no turnovers. He scored in the third. I was able to make him burn his timeouts before punting it back to him with about 1:41 left. He was driving and he completed a pass that put him at about midfield..I can't remember what defense I called but he was wide open. Next play though I was able to get a pick to seal it...good game AceFan.
 
Just lost a real heartbreaker to Cool Iam and his Chiefs. It was largely a defensive struggle. I was up 10-0 late in the second half and made some very poor decisions fumbling twice, one of which was returned for a touchdown, and throwing a pick six. Game ended 14-10.

I earned that one... Nice game, Cool.
 
Just putting this out there, but if I schedule a game with someone and you are not going to make it on time, some sort of notification would be nice.

I just hurried home from work for my game with Snakemaster because we agreed on a 7 pm MST start. Got home and sent a message that I was ready when he was and 20 minutes later got a message back that he would be able to play at 8 pm.

I get that things come up and there are plenty of totally legitimate reasons to postpone a video game but some sort of heads up would be nice.

I actually had the same problem in my game against him. He picked the latest time I could play. And when I got on...he was playing Halo. I messaged him, and didn't get a response for about 15 minutes. When he did respond, he told me to give him 5 minutes.

I'm really not a fan of this. It makes me inclined to advise his opponents to show up 20 minutes later than the agreed upon time, but then Snakemaster could just do the same thing. We're all adults here...and we should all be able to show up when we say we're going to. It's disrespectful to keep people waiting with no notification. I know things come up sometimes, but if it starts becoming a trend, then we have a problem. Hopefully it won't be an issue for anyone else.

Still haven't heard back from the Falcons but I joined as the Saints here late so nothing against him at all. Just trying to give an update.

If anyone needs their opponent set to auto pilot, just tell me. Otherwise, don't be shocked if your game gets simmed. We won't be extending the deadline again.
 
I'm waiting for lyric to message me back, we originally were going to play last night but my Internet was down. We rescheduled to play tonight but he never gave me a time so we will see.
 
Blade thats a valid reason to not have ur game played nothing u can do about that but for the other people they should be setting there games up tonight for week 11 like so ive already contacted the chiefs owner and asked when he could play. now the balls in his court and he has 3-4 days to get back to me and if he doesnt i made clear contact with him and it falls on him. and if i dont hear from him tonight i will send another pm and a xbl message as well tommrow. it shouldnt be so hard to get games in within 3-4 days i know things come up and shit but it seems like every week in this league people are slacking. everyone joined the league knowing how often games would need to played so i dont see how its so hard to get on real fast see who u play and send a messsage of when u can play. stuff like this kills the league in the long run

its just frustrating to see this happening over and over and over every week its either the same people or different people everytime theres never a solid week where all games are played on time with no wheres the guy im suppose to be playing and there hasnt been a time that we werre done before the deadline. and im just trying to help u get points across im sure its not always fun to be the man of reason so i thought i would be the voice this time

Agreed! Messaged dark tower today! I always try to message the next weeks owner by the deadline day week before so it gives us ample time to set something up. Especially when it falls on a Monday because it lets me articulate my work schedule so we can nail down a time even better.

It's cool. I think people generally know what they should be doing. Honestly, in all my years of running leagues, what I've learned is just to keep it moving forward. The people that want to participate will, and the ones who don't won't. The big thing is just not giving people the impression that we'll sit around and wait until the games are played. If somebody has their game simmed, they'll either act differently next time...or they'll just drop out entirely. But as long as the league keeps moving, we'll get to where we're going. Motivating people isn't easy.

Great. fucking great. Havent touched my 360 since Friday of last week, wanted to hop on to practice before my game and I just got the rrod. I kind of saw it coming because I only play this and NHL, and both games got disc unreadable errors recently. I turned it off immediately right when I saw it, still in semi denial mode thinking I may have been seeing things, but turned it on two more times since then and the evil red eyes flashed at me again.

I'm going to get another one tomorrow, but this is incredibly frustrating. I'm going to estimate Ive spent over $800 just on 360 consoles this gen. Looks like my CPU gets to lose again this week when I'm actually home from work and not in some hotel room in bumblefuck USA.

Sorry for the rant, had to do it.
 
Yo, I got this thing in the mail saying that theres a class action lawsuit against EA Sports and if you bought any maddens, ncaa or arena football games from 2005, to june 21, 2012 you may be a class member and may be entitled to benefits. It says go to www.easportslitigation.com Anyone else get this and what do I do?

well me and the cowboys couldn't find anything that worked for both of us this week, so i have no problem with a sim. i'm working on my week 11 game already

I worked on it since friday but i didnt get any response to anything until yesterday and the times didnt work out for either of us at that point. Oh well, i'm hoping the next game works out, i didn't think my schedule was that complicated
 
Sorry to announce this to everyone, but after much debate I've decided to drop out of this league. Nothing against anyone in here, every game I've played has been "Gentlemanly" but it's clear to me that even in this league I can't keep up with everyone skill-wise. And honestly I don't have the patience anymore to build thru the draft. Getting blown out every week isn't fun and it's gotten to the point where playing my games is too frustrating. I think I'm just gonna stick to Ultimate Team and NHL.

The one thing that annoyed the shit out of me when playing this game is that running to the outside (regardless of defensive packages) seems like an automatic 6-8 yards every time. Not very realistic, but from what I've heard I guess that's just Madden.

Anyways, thanks for the good games everyone and I look forward to playing some of you in NHL

I'm online right now. I seen scrub online one minute playing FIFA then he was gone the next but I sent him a PL to see if he can play later this night.

So, games on last gen consoles are actually worth more here. I think I ended up with 5 from last gen and 8 from this gen. Better than I was expecting...but I'll also be shocked if I ever see anything from it. Honestly, EA should be paying us to beta test their shit every year as it is.

Though...if I DO get a check out of this, I'm going to take a picture of me smiling holding it, and post it on EA's Facebook page. That's a whole nother level of heckling right there, lol. :lol:
 
hey n8 i got back with the saints owner and he said he could play if i got on right away, i got back to him in 30 mins but he must have gone to bed, he said i could play the cpu if you wouldnt mind putting him on auto when you get the chance.
 
Guys: I'm out of the league. Was trying to play my game with Blade3D, and he obviously is a much better player. Pretty much from the first snap. I was losing 28-0 —$in the first half —$and he went ahead and put up another TD on me. I rage quit —$I am sorry about that.

But, I don't have as much game time as I would like, and it seems the skill level in this league is way beyond me at this point. Not worth it to get my ass handed to me every week. I haven't won a game here this year (my two wins are against the CPU).

Good luck to the league, though. Glad to see it prospering. I'm just not cut out for it anymore.

Sorry you feel that way. I almost exclusively ran the ball, he gave up a fumble, 3 int for 2 pick 6s, hence that basically equated into that 28 points. The first actual drive I had I ran for a 70-80 yard TD, and that is when he rage quit midway through the 2nd quarter. I am not sure what else I was supposed to do, I am not good enough in the other league because the games I play there are like this. I feel that I might not be bad but I am definitely not near the top of the people who play around here.

Why should you be allowed to play the CPU? scrub said he's been trying to get in touch with you since Friday, and you guys couldn't work out a time. I could have allowed him to play your CPU just as easily.
 
Well actually we did have a scheduled time of 9 est. But he posted here at 2040 saying we couldn't come up with a time even though we had sent PMs since Sunday.

Then why didn't you come in here and say "Hey, scrub0 just cancelled on the time we had agreed to. Can I play the CPU?" Not only would that let me know what's going on, but it would have communicated the issue a little more clearly.
