camping in FFA is stupid as shit. i would go as far as to say they were boosting. if they are just camping back there, than its multi kill heaven.

i understand Map Control but to camp 1 spot over and over is annoying. I deal with this all the time in Crisis. There is a dark corner where B Flag is and it seems like the perfect hiding spot. I was playing a pub match against a clan in Dom and this one dude kept camping that corner. Even after killing him 4 straight times he still goes back to that corner and never moves even though he gets the kills and he shows up in the kill cam. plus he isnt even using silencer so he shows up on radar. I do not get the stupidity at times in this game.
 
Hi, i still dont have CoD BO, i would like to know if there it is any hackers in this game, like those 10 prestige lv 70 noobs from MW2, spinning emblens or hack stadistics...

i hate those things even tho is just cosmetics

Yes, but not nearly as many as MW2.

Haven't encountered a single one. Never really did in MW2 (on PC...) either, but they still existed.

I think they exist, but they're either getting squashed VERY quickly (and banned, or stats reset), or they just aren't easy. Treyarch's released several server-side updates in the last week, likely to quell them, but I can't be sure. Also, a new patch expected to be released next week.

It's also very hard to boost, and there's no nuke, so... boosting is even more pointless.

That's the beauty of theater. You have visual evidence of most hacks and that helps keep it to a minimum.

The developer recently swung the ban-hammer on a lot of the cheaters. On the official boards there's been a lot of "why was I banned?" topics. 3arc has proven to move much, much faster with the patches than IW did on MW2. I wonder if IW will ever get around to fixing the rock glitch on Fuel before MW3 comes out.
 
Wow, for some reason I have been doing AMAZING with the AK74 with grip and reflex site. I mean, when I play domination against some Presitge level 5's and stuff, I can usually be in the top 3 with 20 kills and 4 deaths. I just love the gun for some reason. Just hit 30 tonight! :D
 
I need some help- I bought the game today and jumped into multiplayer...It sits there and says it found 50 matches but i never get into a game. My NAT is open and my ping is at 28ms. All of the needed ports for x360 are open as well. I never have a problem playing online unless its MW2 and this game.

You can take down a helicopter with a tomahawk, heh. I'm guessing you could take it down with a crossbow.

there seems to be no range or damage reduction with the Spas 12. Its my favorite gun on maps like Firing Range/Havana/Crisis. The range is kinda ridiculous.

Yeah, I heard from one of my friends that even with the suppressor the SPAS had no reduced range. Apparently they're going to fix it with an update.

Another gun that seems to be jacked up with a certain attachments is the M14. It seems to have increased damage when you throw a silencer on it. Similar to those weapons in MW2 that had altered specs when paired with different attachments.

@js1 Lots of cool video! Love the dive. I had 1 dive save, was on S&D Summit, dived down the steps in the main building and got the final kill. Looked awesome because he was trying a ballistics knife and I went under.

I can never seem to make the videos right. Its like I can't Link the small recorded parts from different angles together.
 
Thanks Snuckles. :) @ Moojuice, I need to pick up a headset! Do they help that much in this game? I read that they have been messing with the sound to get it to work better for those with headsets. Any recommendations?

I myself have a Turtle Beach X11 headset, and I find that having the sound be right in your ears helps hearing footsteps a whole lot. I love using em.

In this game, I have to kind of turn my headset up quite a bit louder to make a noticable difference. I heard they are still tweaking footsteps, so it might change. I know in MW2 and COD4, headphones made a world of difference. Also, if you play with a talkative group, forget it, it half the time chatter will drown out footstep noise.

Yes, outclasses the M16 in every way. Shoots faster, one-bursts people more consistently, and has a 48 round clip. It also has SMG hip-fire if you have to use it up close.

Oh okay, I did a lot better without any of the scope/zoom attachments.
 
Some kinda update just happened... Kicked everyone off mid round and said 10mb update required. Was in high beast mode at the time. :(

Just picked up Black Ops and I must say, I'm enjoying it. I think that Treyarch vastly improved the MW2 engine and I'm liking the fact that they are coming out with updates every week or so. Altogether, I think I'm liking this a lot more than Halo Reach.

If anyone here has Xbox Live, hit me up on there sometime and we can play a match or two together
 
I swear there must have been some 15th Prestige hacking break-through because in the past couple of days I've seen a shit-load of them. They look like regular no-prestige level 50 but have the 15th prestige animated background for their player-card. Went up against a whole fucking team of them last night that must have had additional hacks as well. I still regret not dash-boarding since they broke my win-streak. One of the fuckers even sent me a message today...stupid fuck

I stand corrected, I went back to look at the match and the guy did in fact have a 15th Prestige icon. I did some digging and all but 1 of the guys was on his friends list but ALL of them have either

I believe they made it so that you couldn't re-roll SAM Turrets and Sentry Guns, just Care Packages. Having 3 different packages you could re-roll was fun. I'll still use it, but it's not as useful anymore.

They should really focus on their network/Ghost issues instead of stuff like that.

This updated screwed up the 4 missile launcher in Gun Game. Its all jumpy and shit like you keep pulling it from your back.

NVM: Seems like it was only a couple games

you know what I noticed about hardline pro... whenever I wanted people to grab care packages to get hardline pro... noone would...

once I would finally get pro everyone tried to take them.
