Thank God I'm not the only one. I was rocking it with suppressor too which pre patch wasn't THAT bad, but now it's exactly as you explain.

I was getting DOMINATED by some dude using the Jackhammer or whatever the classified shotgun is, from long long range it was pathetic. Shoot the dude 3 times getting hit markers from the same range then he shoots me once and I die.


And LOL @ getting nothing in a CP never happened to me but I'd rage.

I swear up and down though, Trey switched the killboxes from the player model's head to their legs and feet area. I know the killcam isn't the most accurate but there is such a huge discrepancy between shooting people in the legs/feet and shooting people in the torso/head.

The EXACT same thing happened to me and nobody believed me. I forgot to go back and save the clip... It should still be in my recent games.
 
Game is trash. Now I know why I hadn't played it in a week. Tonight, got hit markers but they wouldn't die and they'd kill me with 1 shot that was next to me. I guess people are curving the bullet now and people can shoot the ground and kill u as someone stated before..i saw it happen tonight. By the way, the games been hacked. I saw several people with gold guns who had just started playing. This game has gone down the crapper and it's still a crappy lagfest.

Tried playing yesterday, game blows went back to Bad Company 2. Won't be touching this game for a while, especially with the Vietnam add-on.
 
Getting kinda bored with the weapons after clocking in over a day in game time. I am down to using snipers which I hate.

Got my first Black Ops hate mail message yesterday.

Team Deathmatch on Radiation, I see a teammate threw down a Care Package but died. I kill an enemy that was running towards it, swandive over the Care Package like a badass as usual (I figured it was an attack helicopter, didn't recognize the symbol), capture it and... "Gunship ready for deployment".

I immediately get two messages from "A Downy Boy", with the colorful statements of "ugly cunt" and "go and die". Apparently I stole his Care Package.

I've gotten Attack Dogs and a Gunship 1 time each in my days of playing, and both were from snatching a Care Package that wasn't mine. Ah yeah.

I came across someone who appeared to know how to glitch the game so that the lag was extremely in his favor. Every time I saw the guy, the game would lag so incredibly that I would get the connection lost message... game comes back and I'm dead. Watching the replays, the lag doesn't affect the guy at all. First time I've seen this, the guy ended up going 36-7... surprised he even died 7 times. The lag seems to affect everyone in the game except for him. Anybody else see this before?

It would be complaining I suppose if i were the only one all this has happened to, but there's alot of other people this has happened to. -shrugs- By the way, still got a 1.35 k/d despite all this and i've played every cod and this still needs more updates/patches. It's going to end up like gears of war 2 where it took about 5 updates to finally be playable and fixed.

Yeah, I'm trying to get into this after borrowing it from a friend, but I think it will be going back soon. Everything about Call of Duty's MP always just feels off to me. Definitely enjoyed Bad Company 2 a lot more. Might have to give it a whirl against soon.

I dont know if you played WaW, but on there was the map Makin night, so if its anything like that then that would be ok, for me anyway.

Discovery and Berlin Wall were both maps that were reported to have been scrapped very late in the development stages.
 
They should sell the zombie maps separately. That whole mode is wasted on me.

The game is descent though ghost is way to overpowered. The fact that the you can't see people with ghost without a blackbird is really unbalanced. I think that this game lacks killstreaks and guns compared to modern warfare 2 also snipers and the shotguns really need a buff. I am also not going to purchase maps this early especially since these maps were removed in the end of development. I will probably just keep playing starcraft 2 and I might buy battlefield bad company 2 though Im not really a big fan, I just want to play the Vietnam expansion.

Modes and contracts are done through title updates and play list updates... So those two can be scratched from your complaint. As someone else said, none of the other ones have had those... So why should we expect them now. As for perks, killstreaks, and weapons... You are talking about a lot of rewriting code in order to get those in there.

This is the reason why most of the time I am against DLC (not that it matters) because instead of evolving and adding to gameplay (Why is TF2 so fantastic again? MAG for PS3 as least tried, etc etc) was originally suppose to do we get games broken on release day so they can be "patched" 10 times and map packs.

Map packs are a joke. As it has been proven most of the the time these map packs come from scrapped material and/or re-hashes of previous things.

Also, I seriously doubt that a free title update would contain more modes, killstreaks, that would be of any substance. Now of course they will hopefully add something thing already had like Mosh Pit or War (why were these even taking out?) but its hardly a worthy of DLC.

EDIT: I dont know, I have never been impressed by maps. What happens when you paint a Tempo red? You get a red fucking tempo. thats it. If the core gameplay is the same a new map isnt going to do anything. Also, I have never bought a map pack for any game. Waste of time for me.

I don't believe anyone said a free title update would include killstreaks or even modes for that matter... (Which even then you are technically wrong seeing as the last title update created a dummy AI mode for offline). Oh, and the whole barebones mode in MW2... That came from a free play list update as well. And that was essentially a brand new mode to CoD.

It's unfortunate that there are so many whiners on CAG nowadays.

No, I just usually expect more from billion dollar franchises that have multiple sequels, its a shame that gamers are so easily pleased sometimes.

I would rather keep the same maps and get new modes.

Also, MVP we didnt disagree or agree with anything there. I dont even know what you are responding to. I said, "I doubt they would add new game modes in a free title update." Your response, "no one said they would." Uhhh, yeah I never said you did. I was just stating that the title updates wouldnt contain the things I view as DLC. I think you misunderstood that. Hell, I even mentioned that they could add modes like mosh pit back into the game. (Seriously, I have no idea what you are talking about MVP)

I guess I should state my point more clearly.

Stop making map packs, make content that further expands gameplay.
 
Zombie maps got achievements last time, so why not this time around? Also, there was a 0 gamerscore achievement point for prestiging but that's not in black ops either. They should focus on doing updates and fix the game a bit before even releasing a map pack.
 
I'm really trying to still enjoy Black Ops. This is pulling a Reach on me, where I play it for a month and a half and it slooowly turns more and more bullshitty until I have no interest in it anymore. I really wish this $15 map pack shit would stop.

I've been playing Wager Matches 3x as much as I've been playing regular modes. Even those are starting to wear a bit. Granted, I still don't have reliable internet so I haven't been able to play as much, but it's still happening.

Might have to fire up the BC2 paddles or get into another game like Hot Pursuit.

I try to not complain about games, I usually take everything lightly, but some games just push my limit.

Also, I'm starting to notice that camping's spreading a WHOLE shitload into Wager Matches now. We're all aware that I despise camping, but I can understand camping in One In The Chamber, I guess. Camping in Gun Game is a bit stupid, but I see why people do it. But camping in Sticks and Stones? Really? And not just the stay-in-one-spot-while-he-reloads camping, but having the same person be in the same spot the entire match, aiming at the doorway with his crossbow. Come on. The last few matches I played of SnS, there was always at least 1 person camping by a doorway. In one match there were actually 3 at once.

I say again, how is that fun?

Has there been something going wrong in COD:BO the past week or two im not aware of? Ive been taking a break from it. What makes people say they are going to BC2 and their 15 dollar map pack over BO and their 15 dollar map pack? Just for a few weapons? Because they expect something more from a map pack? I think BO is great, love most of the maps, and sure you get campers but that can be said in any MP game.

Well for one i dont think they can add achievements unless they bring out DLC. Each game gets 1,000 gamerscore, DLC can add 250? i think to that. But i really dont see how adding 0 point achievements fixes the game? Sure adding more achievements would be cool, but i dont see how not including them hurts the DLC.

You are getting exactly what they describe, maps. And i have to say, getting 4 MP maps and 1 zombie map for $15 seems like a good deal. Halo Reach only got 2 maps and 1 forge map for the same price.
