I cannot fucking stand the glitching on roundhouse.,,
You got that right.

fucking chirst people are such d-bags.

I wish Msoft rep system actually worked. I wish they if you got enough complaints filed against you, it would ban you from XBL for a couple days.

Or at the very least I wish there was a way to set up rep restricted servers. Where only people with 5 star rep could enter. That way the feedback system would have some type of value.
If the zombie thing was multiplayer (not campaign), like a "fun" mode, I'd buy.
It's part of multiplayer, you just have to finish campaign first. =p

I don't think its a part of multiplayer. It is part of Co-op but that's it.

I hope that Treyarch really is monitoring the game and added the glitch on purpose. They will weed out all the cheaters and give them a super penalty in game.

"Oh, you used the glitch on roundhouse several times? No M1 for you, ever!"

Kind of like what they did to the people who exploited the Fable Pub Games.
What is the glitch?
If you crawl at a certain part of the map you drop to underneath the map. It's still active (at least as of last night).

1. That is ridiculous.

2. We'll be lucky if the Roundhouse glitch is even fixed for the retail game.

3. There was no penalty for doing the Pub Games glitch in Fable II.

Co-op.. multiplayer.. whateevveeeeeer.

I've been filing complaints for the roundhouse glitch, but I highly doubt anything will come from it. Last round I played, half of the other team was exploiting it. It completely grinds the session to a halt.

Hey, maybe I was on the other team when you played because I was shooting my teammates in Hardcore when I saw them attempting to enter the glitch. My respawn cam showed several guys down there. I filed complaints against them too but I'm thinking it ain't gonna do much esp since this is a "beta"

yea ive been doing the same thing too. Every time I play on the map Roundhouse somebody is glitching. Whether its team deathmatch or free for all somebody is always down there exploiting the hell out of it getting 37 kills and no deaths. Roundhouse has become my least favorite map so far

Man, that alone is enough to warrant a buy.

They need to beta test that....hell with this crappy 3 maps or whatever. I all of a sudden have no desire what so ever to play the beta anymore. I want to play zombie nazi all else is a failure in my book.

So, it's pretty much just limited to 4 players. Damn. If it was something like Counter Strike, with the Zombie Mods -- up to however many players, that'd be awesome. I'd be all over that in a heartbeat. The Zombie Mode definitely won't be as good, you'll probably play it once or twice by yourself until you finally get extremely bored. If it was online, that'd be a different story -- which is where Left 4 Dead tactics come in, since it's mainly a online/offline multiplayer experience, where as Zombie Mode for CoD4 is limited to only a 4-player co-op experience (most likely offline multiplayer since you have to complete game to unlock it).

Yeah to be honest if they settle the glitches and make Zombie Mode something between Left 4 Dead and GoW 2's Horde Mode, this game goes from a maybe to a must buy.

Couple things.

They need to fix last stand so that it doesnt give us a huge advantage to the downed player. Its almost like back in COD2 (?) where people would swan dive and shoot your knee caps out.

Just add a animation that makes them take the pistol out instead of start with it will solve this. Especially with the fact that the pistol shoot faster than most of the guns in this game.

But shooting at a guy head upper chest only to have him drop to ground level and fire 10 pistol shots at me sucks ass.

Also, I am so sick of that glitch on round house that I propose we get a CAG complaint list going. When we see someone glitching post their tag here and maybe we can all file complaints on them and something will happen.

You have to admit that most of the time when you get owned by a downed opponent, it's probably due to the fact that you didn't expect it. Not because the pistol shoots faster or because the target was lower. In many cases the opponents have a harder time. Imagine shooting a Thompson like a mad man, getting downed, then switching to the the pistol. It's probably going to take him longer to realize he's no longer shooting an automatic gun.

I don't have a problem with last stand. Most of the pistols suck ass; meaning, you only get like 5 shots. I find myself whenever I'm in last stand that I unload my whole clip in less than 2 seconds at the person's chest and he doesn't die, then it takes me like 5 seconds to reload -- it's total bullshit in last stand.

When I'm on the opposite side of the spectrum, I really don't mind. Since I use the MP40 80% of the time (other 20% is Bayonet/Shotty), the MP40 clip is pretty huge -- you can usually get 3 guys without reloading, so last stand isn't a problem for me clip-wise.

I think you'd have a better fighting chance if you said, "why can you revive and have last stand in Second Chance perk?", because everyone knows, Second Chance is pretty much the best Perk 3 there is. You can revive people and go last stand. It's so badass, seriously. The only other ones you would use besides Perk 3 is either:

A. Steady Aim -- if you seriously suck ass and have to spray 100% of time
B. Deep Impact -- sniping or w/e
C. Extreme Conditioning -- bayonet/knife running or thumb gets cramped hitting run too many times

other than that, I think Second Chance pretty much rapes all others.

Maybe because I only play hardcore I find a problem with it. Since one shot can kill you its really annoying to have shot someone in the chest with a bolt action rifle only to get a flurry of bullets thrown your way before you can pop that clip out and fire back.

It doesnt happen all the time but enough to always make me wince and shake my head.

Also, Second chance is not so much badass as all other perks are worthless. I didnt like most of the perks in COD4 and this one is the same or worse. That why everyone just went jugs/ stopping power.

Steady Aim makes me rofl because you can tell Treyarch just ported half this shit. Why the hell would you need steady aim for WW2 games?

Ok my buddy has a problem.

He put in the token. Started to download it then his net cut out. So now in is memory there is of course that Yellow symbol for when it went wrong and he can't download it again. When he puts the token in Again, it says it's invalid. Anyway to solve this or what?

I can tell that's probably annoying since the only good use for bolt-action rifles would be in hardcore.
How do you guys feel about bolt action rifles?
With Sniper Scope = Awesome.

Without Sniper Scope = Ass

I don't know why but the iron sights are screwy. You can expect to get outgunned in close or mid-range. Long range is really where it shines. But even then the Scope seems more accurate.

I can't even get the sniper scope for one, because I can't even kill a guy with them. Seriously, point blank for bolt action doesn't even kill someone. lol. They're damn good snipers though that's for sure.

Yeah bolt actions are tough. For the same amount of time I could easily pop 2 M1 shots at someone face.

I wish they would add different maps I am getting kinda tired of these ones.

Shhh don't tell anyone as this is a secret, but I heard that they're adding a bunch of new maps on the 11th of November.
Rumor has it that there will be a sp campaign as well ;).

Thats when this comes out? Why did I think it was way further out.

Ah well.

Ah, how enjoyable. I've had three dogs jump through walls, and kill me. Walls. Solid.Walls.

I've also had people's martyrdom grenades go through the bottom of the map. Those damn glitching nade's, ban them!

Yeah well, it's not IW this time around. Plus, It is a beta. I just hope they fix the Roundhouse glitch. Shit is so freaking lame.

Guys what do you think about the zombie mode? Honestly.

Even though I am really digging this mode I cant help but to wonder why they randomly tossed in a zombie mode when it clearly has nothing to do with the COD series, IW or Treyarch.

I listened to the interview of the head producer go on about how this WWII shooter is different from other because this time "they did it right, and how no one has else done this before." I cant help but roll my eyes at the sound of that crap.

I just get this vibe that the Zombie mode is just a cover up for a rather weak game. I mean lets face it....nothing gets the fans up more than anything to do with Zombies.

For me bottom line is this....though I am excited for the game but most of that excitment is for the zombie mode and I wouldnt be surprised if the single player AND multiplayer in this game is rather weak. It also wouldnt surprise me if this game doesnt beat out COD4 in sales or XBL time either.

Thoughts?

The game looks awesome to me. I'll definitely pick it up and play it for a couple of months to get all the achievements. Zombie mode looks like a lot of fun though.

I agree with the disappointment. Zombie mode is cool, but is that plus single player worth 60.00, because the MP is COD4...

Zombie Mode doesn't seem any more tacked on than the Arcade Mode in COD4. That was also a mode that unlocked once the game was beaten, and allowed you to play a "serious" game in a goofy manner.

But, this one is co-op, so that rocks. We'll see how it actually plays out.

Arcade mode and Zombie mode dont even compare.

This zombie mode is a completely separate game that doesnt relate in the slightest to the series. Arcade mode was simply an extension of the single player that allowed you to score points in various ways or make it harder by having only 3 lives. It was basically the exact same game but the object was less about beating the game and more and killing enemies in way that scored you lots of points.

It was in no way "goofy" (As I assume you meant something like a big head mode, or paintball mode or something to that effect) This zombie mode also has no "goofy" features in it what so ever. Its a fully fleshed out multiplayer game type above and beyond their already existing gametypes. I never questioned if it was tacked on or not implying that it was thrown on at the last minute but completely the opposite. This mode was put there for the very beginning.

The question is why add this mode to a game that as never featured or even tried to feature the content. Its no mystery that fans dont trust Treyarch to make a good COD game and this is rather blatant fan service coming off the success of COD4.

Game comes out in like 2 weeks so it really doesnt matter at this point but to me this is more than just odd. Again I wont be surpirsed if this game scores low but the Zombie mode scores high.

Honestly, my biggest fear isn't that the game will be fun or not off the bat; my biggest fear is that there will be a slew of glitches and bugs that simply don't get fixed. That'll kill a game, and it's already evident in the beta, which I otherwise enjoy.

I've got and extra and don't need it and all my friends have it already as well.....

Your Unique Beta Code: GMGT7-TP7KK-JQ6G3-K4TWR-QRCCJ

and

Your Unique Beta Code: JRPPQ-R3DBQ-YBHBP-2XXJB-7XRJQ

and haha i'll be damned someone told me and it seems to work.... i've found a way to get as many beta codes as I want. Or it at least worked the 3 times I tried. :)

The 3rd code I mentioned has been given away.;)

Ok here is the trick I mentioned above for how to get extra beta codes.

You need to know a transaction id from a Gamestop COD5 preorder receipt though. Then go to http://www.gamestop.com/gs/landing/codwwbeta/default.aspx and enter all the info and your email address and it takes about 13 hours to receive. Now here is the kicker: every email address you enter you will receive a new beta code even though you are using the same transaction id. I was 3 for 3 on my trial of this and i'd already received the code once at one of those emails. :D Someone on XBL told me about this and he got codes for most everyone in his clan with this method.

I just sent out like 10 more, so if you don't have a GS preorder or know someone then watch more my code dump tomorrow.

Those people who dont have the beta by now should really just wait the what? Week and some change for the full release.

By the time you really get into the beta the full game will be out.

You're assuming no one liked CoD3. I trust Treyarch to make a good CoD game. The thing is, they have already made a good CoD game. CoD3.

CoD3 multiplayer is a hundred times better than CoD4's. I can't understand how people find noob weapons and a huge amount of aim assist fun. CoD4 was just TOO easy to be good at it. Get me a P-90 with a red dot and I could rape anyone. Better yet, an M16 with a red dot made every other weapon in the game obsolete.

CoD3 was a lot more balanced than CoD4. The whole Perks thing totally ruined the CoD franchise if you ask me. It's just stupid as hell how anyone who sucks at the game can put on Juggernaut and be able to kill someone who has some skill at the game. For example, I'm running around with a one shot rifle and stopping power and I see one guy across the map. I shoot him, but damn, he has juggernaut! He lives and then he hides behind a pillar. There's no way I'm going to watch that pillar for 20 seconds until he pops out. By then, some idiot would just come from behind me and shoot me.

If you don't believe anything I'm saying, go play both of the games. Play CoD3 for a couple of weeks and then go play CoD4. You'll notice how easy CoD4 is. Now, go back to CoD3. You'll get absolutely destroyed. After playing the CoD4 beta one year ago, I couldn't get back into the CoD3 groove. Not because I didn't like it, but because I sucked ass at it. And it wasn't one of those, well you haven't played the game in a month so you suck at it things. It was more of a CoD4's aim assist spoiled me thing.

Now hopefully you guys can understand what the hell I just wrote in this post. I can't figure out the words to convey my message clearly. This post has taken me way too long to write...

Well, I have no issue with Treyarch using the COD4 engine as a basis for their game. It's a good engine, and more games should use it. So far, the maps they allow us to play are prettier and better designed than most maps featured in COD4.

Now, I dig perks. They allow us to tailor our experience in a unique way that differentiates it from most shooter experiences. DarkRider, it should be obvious that Stopping Power is the balance for Juggernaut, and conversely into itself. You cannot complain about Juggernaut if you use Stopping Power. Stopping Power gives you an edge just like how Juggernaut gives other players an edge.

If you don't like Perks, then you need to find another game. Developers would be stupid if they got rid of them. Perks offer the series a bit of individuality that most shooters lack.

And really, if someone is so "skilled" at COD4, then some person equipping Juggernaut should be little issue. I am above-average at COD4 and find Juggernaut inadequate against my quick trigger finger and sight.
